Grandma went to church with us this morning. She hadn’t been feeling well so it has been a long time since she has gone to church with us. We had a guest speaker in church today. He is a home grown missionary who was raised in Dade City. He has been helping the people in Iran. He is working out of Istanbul where they have people come from Iran and learn about the God and the Bible and then return to Iran to teach the people. It was very interesting and was surprised how many Christians there are in Iran. He also said how unhappy the Iranians are on how their country is being run. Really no different than how we feel about our country. Our Sunday school lesson today was Alert Living from 1 Peter 5:1-11 and was very interesting. This afternoon and early evening was my time for TV. I watched the Wisconsin Badger football game that I had recorded. After that it was time to watch the NASCAR race that I was recording. When that was over I started watching the Green Bay Packer football game that was recording. All of this lasted until about 8:30 pm. Cheri not that interested in sports spent the afternoon in her sewing room. After all the sporting events Cheri joined me to watch a couple of shows before calling it a night.

Cheri and I both put in a bad night. I was up before 5:00 am and Cheri was up before 6:00 am. So we decided to go out for an early breakfast at the Sunrise restaurant. By 8:00 am we were on our way to Lakeland as Cheri wanted to go to Jo-Ann fabrics and I needed to make a stop at Lowe’s. We took the long way to Lakeland because we were early and stopped at Lowe’s first as Jo-Ann’s doesn’t open until 9:00 am. I picked up some assembly materials I needed for the additional rollout drawers I am working on. It was 9:00 am when we pulled into Jo-Ann’s parking lot. While Cheri was in Jo-Ann’s I decided to go over to Best Buy and found out they don’t open until 10:00 am. So I went back and told Cheri I was going to wait in the car. She came out a little after 10:00 am. We had planned on going to Wawa to have a milk shake on the way home but it was too early so we just headed on home. When we got home Cheri went to her sewing room and I headed out to work on the cutting the Plywood for the rollouts. By 4:00 pm I had all the sides and ends cut out, still have to cut out the bottoms which will be for another day. This evening Mike and Kathy came over to play Phase Ten and we also played a game of Aggravation. It was a fun evening and the first time we have gotten together since they have come back from the north.

It was a good day for the Sharps. Cheri was busy doing her Friday house work and laundry. Then she headed to the sewing room to start a new quilt project, think it is an Easter quilt hanger. I worked on cutting plywood for eight more rollout drawers. Yes I am still working on rollout drawers. Six of them are for our cabinets and two for Ron and Sandy and that will be the last of doing rollout drawers. This afternoon we made a trip to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things that Cheri needed. This evening was our Life Group Gathering and once again we met Mike and Pam at Walgreens and then rode with them to meet Ron and Sandy at Tokyo Grill & Sushi. After supper we all went back to Ron and Sandy’s to prepare for Life Group. Once again we had a good group and nice to see and visit with christen friends. Thank you God for all the good friends you have given us.

No work for me today as it was motorcycle riding day. Mike and I left at 9:30 am with Mike leading the ride to Crystal River and out to the coast to have lunch at a place that is at the end of the road. The restaurant had been shut down from the hurricane that went through and had four feet of water in the building. Mike even found a new road that I hadn’t been on before. We made a stop at the Harley dealer in Crystal River to dream about the new bikes. As soon as I win the lottery I will be buying a new one (guess I have to buy a ticket). When we got ready to leave Mike said that it was my turn to lead and find a way home. We had an excellent ride of 174 miles and got home 4:45 pm. I was really tired and needed a nap after supper. Cheri worked on doing Friday laundry and working in her sewing room. She did venture out to the grocery store to get some things she needed to do a new chicken recipe for supper. It was very good and have enough for a couple more meals. Thank you God for a wonderful day.

Cheri fixed us a breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, English muffin with black berry jelly, and orange juice. Which means no lunch today. After Cheri got her Wednesday house work done she disappeared in to her sewing room. She finished the Christmas hanger. I wonder what her next project will be. I worked on installing the rollout drawers and now can say the panty rollouts are done. Later this afternoon I took the car through the car wash and got home just in time for the lawn mowers to come through and get it all dusty, at least it was nice and clean for a little while. I also dropped of the old motorcycle battery at Advance Auto Parts. When I got hone I joined Cheri in the recliner and tried to watch some TV before supper. I napped through the first show and Cheri napped through the second show. Cheri fixed us chipped beef gravy over scrambled eggs on toast for supper. It is something that we haven’t had in a long time. It was another good day that God made.

God presented us with the most beautiful sun rise this morning. It was as pretty as any sunsets I have seen. Cheri was busy today with her Tuesday house work and then back to the sewing room. I worked on getting the rollout drawers painted today. I thought that I wasn’t going to run out of paint so I made a trip to Lowe’s for more paint. I am so happy that Lowe’s is only a couple of miles away as it seems like I make a daily trip. While I was waiting for the paint to dry I cut back flowers and even removed some that were getting old and out of hand. It was near 2:00 pm when I got done and decided to go for a motorcycle ride. I had no plan on where to ride just took different roads and several end up on dead ends. It was 4:00 pm when I got home and had rode 56 miles. I found Cheri resting in the recliner so I joined her for an hour before firing up the grill for another ribeye steak. It was another evening of TV along with a bowl of ice cream with some chocolate topping. Thank you God for the wonderful day.

Baby Wyatt is four months old today and had his four month checkup is morning and now weights 16 lbs. and 13 oz. and is 27 inches long. I forgot to mention that is was 41 degrees yesterday morning which was the coldest morning so far this fall. This morning was much better at 53 degrees. It was a beautiful fall day. I had to get around early as Grandma had an 8:00 am fasting lab appointment this morning. I waited to do my shower and shaving until I got home from her appointment. Cheri spent the day in her sewing room and is closing in on another quilt project. I worked on sanding the roll out drawers and have them ready for paint. This afternoon Mike came over and helped me return the wrong plywood that I had bought and we got the right one. Now I can start on some more rollout drawers. I made a trip to Dade City to pay for our Tony Evens tickets to see him preach in Tampa. I also made a trip to the bank and grocery store for Grandma. It was 4:00 pm by the time I got done with everything. I needed to rest for a bit before firing up the grill for a ribeye steak. It was another evening of TV and of course it being Monday we watched Cheri’s favorite show “Dancing with the Stars” and once again Cheri was right about who got voted off.

Cheri was feeling a little under the weather this morning so went to church by myself. I can only remember one other time that I went to church alone. After church I made a stop at Lowe’s to check on the plywood that I got the other day and it turned out that I bought the wrong piece. The piece I bought was only five ply and the one I should have bought was at least eight ply. Now I need to see if I can get Mike to help me with the return and then get the right one. I also made a stop to see how Grandma was doing and she said that she was dong ok and gave me a grocery list. I got home around 1:30 pm and found Cheri working in her sewing room. Plus she at made some banana bread. We watched a couple of shows we had recorded before it was time for me to watch the NASCAR race. After the race it was time for our usual Sunday pizza. Then more TV for the evening.

Cold this morning, 51 degrees. It did warm up to 66 degrees for a nice fall day. Cheri did some laundry this morning and then work in her sewing room on and off the rest of the day. I worked outside and got four more rollouts cut out and assembled. Still need to do some wood filler on them plus sanding and painting. I was done around 3:00 pm and ready to watch the Wisconsin Badger football that I had recorded. It was a hard fought game with the Badgers winning. This evening we had leftovers of the food that Pam and Mike brought us. We also had some desserts that Sandy gave me to bring home after our Life Group gathering. We called Darren this evening to see how Brooke and Wyatt made out while he was in England for work. He said Brooke was glad to see him back to help with Wyatt. Darren said that every time they put him down on the floor he rolls over and tries to push himself up. It won’t be long and he will be crawling. It was another evening of TV.

Cheri worked off and on in her sewing room today. I really didn’t get much done as Grandma had a doctor’s appointment at 12:40 pm. By the time I got started working I would have to quit and take a shower before her appointment. So I did some computer work and Bible study. At 11:00 am we got a call from Grandma’s doctor and was told that they were canceling Grandma’s appointment and made us a new appointment for next month. I called Ron and Sandy to see if they were going to be home this afternoon as the rollout drawer I made was a surprise for Sandy. Ron was home so I headed over at 1:00 pm to install it. On the way home I got a call from Sandy and she was really excited and said that it was the best thing that anyone had done for her. I also stopped and checked on Larry and Denise’s house. This evening was Life Group at Ron and Sandy’s. Cheri wasn’t feeling very good and decided to stay home. So I met Mike and Pam at Walgreens and then they rode with me to meet Ron and Sandy for supper at Tokyo Grill & Sushi. After we eat we headed to Ron and Sandy’s for the Life Group gathering. It was another good time studying God’s word with Christian friends.

We were on the road by 8:00 am as we had an appointment in Tampa this morning. It was after 1:00 pm when we finally got home. I did get the rollout drawer I have been working ready to install. Mike and Pam brought us roast beef with gravy, bake potatoes, and carrot cake for dessert. We have enough left for another meal. Thanks Pam and Mike. It was a late night for me as I had to watch the Green Bay Packer’s football game with the Bears. The Packers did win but still need to get better if they are going to compete for a championship. Cheri gave up and went to bed around 9:30 pm.

After Cheri got her Laundry and house work done she headed to the sewing room to work on the new project she has picked out. I headed outside to work on the rollout drawer. The sanding and painting took most of the day as I had a lot of trouble with the paint sprayer plugging up. I had mixed some old paint with the new paint which I shouldn’t have done. By 3:00 pm I was finally done. After supper we made a trip to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things. I also had a visit from a veteran that lives here in the park and setting up a meeting next week for all the veterans in the park as he wants to start a veterans club. We did watch the debate this evening and our country is in really bad shape when we can’t pick a good God fearing person to lead our country.

I was really slow getting around this morning. Cheri on the other hand was very busy. She fixed us waffles for breakfast which tasted good as it has been a while since we last had them. Cheri got the bathrooms cleaned and all the floors swept and mopped. Her energy rubbed off on to me and I finally got myself going and worked on a rollout drawer. I needed some plywood from Lowe’s. I had talked to Mike to see if he could haul it for me with his van. So he picked me up around 11:15 am and headed to Lowe’s. I got the materials I needed and then went back to work on the rollout drawer. All that is left to do on this drawer is to sand and paint it and it will be ready to install. It was nice working outside today as it wasn’t as hot. The fall cooler weather is starting to arrive which also means the snowbirds will be coming too. When I came in the house I found Cheri in her sewing room figuring out what her next project is going to be. It turned out to be a good day and we both were happy with what we got done.

I had to get around this morning as I had a 9:00 am dentist appointment to have the permit filling put in after the root canal I had done a couple of weeks ago. After my appointment I came back home and picked up Cheri and we went up to Dade City to renew the license plate for the car. It should have been done back in June and for some reason we didn’t get a renew notice to have it done. Long story short we have been driving without an up dated plate for sixteen months. On the way home we stopped at Winn Dixie to get some groceries. When we came out of the grocery store Cheri got a call from Sandy inviting us to go for dinner along with Mike and Pam to celebrate Ron’s birthday. Mike and Pam picked us up at 4:00 pm and headed to Ron and Sandy’s where we all got in their van and Ron drove us down to Tampa to eat at Ruth’s Chris Steak House. It is a very high end steak house and the food was excellent. It is a place that you only go on a special occasion and Ron’s birthday was that special occasion. We always have a great time when we are together. It was after 9:00 pm when we got home. Then it was time to watch Dancing with the Stars that we were recording.  Once again Cheri made the right pick on who was voted off the show. It was another wonderful day God made for us to spend with good Christian friends.

Pastor Randy was gone on a mission trip so Pastor Carl delivered the message today. It was an excellent message. Charlie did an excellent job of teaching us on our Sunday school lesson. We signed up in church to go and see Tony Evans and hear him speak on 11/11/16 at a church down in Tampa. On the way home we stopped to see Jan as last week she had an ablation done on her leg and wasn’t in church today. She is doing well and getting around ok. We also stopped to check on Grandma. She said that she was doing ok and didn’t need anything. We were home by 1:30 pm and settled in for an afternoon of TV. We watched a couple of shows we had recorded and then it was time to watch the NASCR race. After the race we watched the Green Bay Packer football game. It was a hard game to watch as the Packers were playing terrible, made a lot of mistakes and just looked like they didn’t care. We watched a couple more shows and called it a night.

Cheri fixed us a big breakfast of eggs, hash browns, English muffin, bacon, and orange juice. I really wasn’t in the mood to do anything today but finally pushed myself to go out and clean up the shop so I could start on another drawer rollout. Once I got started things went along smoothly and made a trip to Lowe’s to get some more materials for the rollouts. I got one all cut out except for the bottom. While I was screwing the sides together the drill slipped and I run the driver bit into my thumb. I couldn’t get it to stop bleeding and came in so Cheri could put a couple of Band-Aids on it. Needless to say that my work day was done. I needed to sit down for a while before I could go back out and put my tools away. Cheri was busy in the sewing room and has finished another 12 X 12 quilt project. Late this afternoon we headed down to Plant City for the car show. It has been a long time since we have went to one. We got to see a lot of different cars that we hadn’t seen before. During the car show we had to walk by the quilt shop and guess who needed to stop and shop. Yes Cheri did buy some material and a pattern. The car show was very good and was back home by 5:00 pm. After supper we settled in for an evening of TV. Yes it was time to watch Badger football that came on late this evening. Cheri finally went to bed around 10:30 pm. I stayed up and watched to the end of the game which the Badgers lost in overtime. It was a late night and didn’t get to bed until after midnight.

This was our favorite. 1934 ford pickup.

I was pretty slow getting around this morning because I knew I had to leave at 9:30 am to take Grandma for her lab appointment and no time to start any work. Cheri on the other hand went right to work on getting the laundry done. It was near 11:00 am when I got home. Cheri was resting and said that she wasn’t in the mood to do any quilting or sewing today. The new battery I order for the motorcycle came yesterday so my project for today was to get installed and the bike ready to ride. I was surprised that the old battery only last a couple of years so I got to checking and found that my float charger was wasn’t working right. So I did some checking on line for a new one and found out I was better off going over to Wal-Mart for one. So that’s what I did and now there shouldn’t be any more battery problems with the motorcycle. Cheri was busy this afternoon making dessert for our Life Group this evening at Ron and Sandy’s. After she made the dessert she didn’t think it would be enough so she made an additional dessert. I got a call this afternoon from Ron wanting to meet us for supper before the Life Group gathering, which we did. There were twenty of us for Life Group which is the largest group ever. We had a good lesson with a good discussion and fellowship afterwards. As it turned out Cheri only needed one dessert, guess who is going to have dessert for the next few days.

At 9:30 am we were on the road to Madeira Beach to visit Mike and Pam at their time share where they have spent the week with their family. So today they had a free day and invited us down. We arrived at 11:00 am. We had a good visit and then walked over to John’s Pass to have lunch at Sculley’s. Lunch was very good with a house salad and Grouper Bites. After lunch Pam and Cheri wanted to do some shopping so Mike and I found a bench to sit and visit. After shopping we headed back to the time share to play cards and have snacks. Around 7:00 pm we headed for Redington Shores to have homemade ice cream at the Candy Kitchen (lots of flavors to pick from). On the way there we stopped to watch the sunset. We didn’t think it was going to be that good but was a good one to see. Around 8:00 pm it was time to say goodbye and head for home. It was a wonderful day to get out and spend it with great friends. Thank you God for blessing us with good Christian fiends.

Cheri was busy doing her Wednesday and Thursday house work because we are going to be gone tomorrow. She still had time to work on her quilt project. I worked on the trash rollout. Since I moved it to a different cabinet you have to open the door and the pull out the trash container before you can deposit the trash. My plan was to build a frame that would hold the door mounted to the rollout. First I built a mockup out of plywood to see if it would work. Then I used the mockup for a pattern to cut the aluminum. It was an all-day project and didn’t get done until 3:30 pm. I was very happy with the way it came out and works great. Cheri had made hot ham sandwiches for lunch and bacon wrapped chicken for supper, how lucky am I to have such a wonder wife that takes good care of me. It was another evening watching TV. Thank you God for another wonderful day.

Before you had to open the door.......

Then pull out the container

Now all you have to do is pull on the door

It was another 63 degree morning. This morning I was happy for the lower temp because I worked outside cleaning off the house roof and then cleaning out the rain gutters. Also had a lot of twigs to pick up from what I had cleaned off the roof. The birds were letting me know it was time to fill the feeder for them. It was after 1:00 pm when I got done. After lunch I took a shower and then laid down for a nap. Cheri was busy this morning doing her Tuesday house work and then back to the sewing room. It was after 4:00 pm when I woke up from my nap and couldn’t believe I slept so long. I found Cheri resting in her recliner watching TV. It was another evening of TV watching some shows we had recorded. Thank you God for a wonderful day.

Our temp this morning was down to 63 degrees, first time it has been that low since spring. I actually felt rather cool when I went out for the morning paper. I know all of you people in the north are laughing that I am cold at 63 degrees but a drop of 10 degrees is a big change. I told Cheri we were wimps and she said that she liked being a wimp, we had a good laugh. Cheri headed to the sewing room working on a new Christmas project. I headed out to do some cleanup work in the shop. Later I ordered a new battery for the motorcycle as other day when Mike and I went for a ride I wasn’t sure it was going to start. I also ordered 10 more sets of drawer slides which means more work. This afternoon we had an appointment in Tampa which took most of the afternoon. On the way home we stop and picked up the groceries that Grandma wanted. It was near 5:00 pm when we finally got home. After supper we settled in for an evening of TV. It was the night for Dancing with the Stars and I slept through most of it.

Cheri put in a very bad night and was already up when I woke up this morning. I told her we didn’t have to go to church this morning but she said that we were going. Church and Sunday school were very good. It is always a good day when you are learning God’s word. After Sunday school we stopped by Grandma’s to see on she was doing. She said that she was doing better which was good news. She gave us a list of things that she needed to have us get for her sometime this week. This afternoon we settled in to watch the NASCAR race which was postponed from last night because of hurricane Mathew. It was a very interesting race and many of the Chase drivers had trouble which changed the standings. After the race we watched a few of the shows we had recorded before it was time to watch Green Bay Packer football. Cheri gave up around 10:00 pm and went to bed. It was almost midnight before the game got over. I did record the debate and will check it out tomorrow.

Our neighbor Mike and I headed out for a motorcycle ride at 8:45 am. We rode over to New Port Richey for the Bike fest. We were really disappointed as there weren’t very many vendors and most of the ones that were there had nothing to do with motorcycles. Mike and I were there a couple of years ago and it was very good and not sure what happened to all the motorcycle vendors. We rode over to the Harley dealer and had free hotdogs and hamburgers with a drink. Mike had wanted to get some patches and have them sewed on his new vest but with no vendors he will have to wait. I was telling Mike about a place in Dade City where I took my motorcycle jacket to have a patch sewed on. So we rode back through Dade City so I could show Mike where it was. We got home right at 2:00 pm and had put on just over 100 miles. Cheri ventured out by herself to do some shopping. It is only the second time she has drove in a year and a half. She stayed in Zephyrhills and didn’t travel too far. Later in the afternoon we studied our Sunday school lesson and then settled in for an evening of TV.

I still have my headache but today more on the dull side. With the continuing rain off and on along with a stiff wind all day and no sun made it a day that I didn’t feel like doing anything. Cheri was busy doing laundry and her Friday house work before heading off to the sewing room. When I put the drawers in the pantry I moved the trash containers to a different cabinet. Before I moved it we could put some trash in without pulling it out but now in the new cabinet we have to pull it out every time to put the trash in. So I spent some of the time today trying to figure a way to mount the cabinet door to the pullout trash unit. I have come up with some ideas and made a trip to get some materials for the project. I also had to buy another LED light bulb for the kitchen. That means I have replaced all seven of them in a little over a year. I am hoping that the new brand I am now using will last longer. So far it has cost us more for replacement bulbs then we have saved in electricity. This afternoon Cheri and I both took a nap before heading out to meet Mike & Pam and Ron & Sandy for supper and then over to Ron and Sandy’s for the start of a new Bible study. It was good to get back to a Bible study with our friends. It is only a four week study from the book “Why in the World” by Andy Stanley. After watching a video we had a very interesting discussion.

I got up with a really bad headache this morning and not feeling like doing anything. When Cheri got up she gave me a good massage which did help make it some better. Cheri was busy early doing some laundry and cleaning. I did get the rollout drawer adjusted and the last one I had made installed. I was done for the day as my headache wasn’t getting any better. Cheri disappeared in her sewing room and finished the second of the three quit projects she has been doing. Pam dropped off her book that we are using for a new Bible study that starts tomorrow evening at Ron and Sandy’s So Cheri and I were able to get a head start on the lesson. We have had rain on and off all day which also went into the night. We had to go to Tampa to pick up Jan at the airport. Her flight was a little late getting in and finally picked her up at 9:30 pm. It rained all the way down and back home. It was 11:00 pm when we pulled into the driveway. I am not too thrilled about driving at night in the rain anymore. I checked the rain gauge and we received 1 ½ of rain for the day and night.

I have been checking the path of the hurricane and we may get a little wind and rain but nothing that will be bad. Cheri spent the day in her sewing room and finished one of three projects she is working on. My first project for today was to trim the shrubs and trim the mum’s back as they are done blooming. The rest of the day was installing the kitchen rollout drawers. I installed six drawers in one pantry and it is done. I have one drawer left to install which will go in the second pantry then I will have to build five more for that pantry. Cheri has the drawers filled and ready to use. I do need to make an adjustment on one of the drawers which I will work on tomorrow. We had a rain storm come through this evening and dumped a ½ inch of rain.

I took Cheri for her haircut this morning. When we got home Cheri did her Tuesday house work and then went to the sewing room. I went up to Jan’s to repair the leaking toilet, had to put in a new water fill valve. I also replaced the landscape pavers that I had cut a section out of for water drainage. I glued the one I broke and replaced it with a good one that I took home and cut the section out of it. Then it was back to Jan’s to install it and do the chalking along the three pavers I replaced. Now she shouldn’t have any more problems with water pooling in the carport. When I got home I worked on installing the hardware on the rollout drawers. Then it was time to get cleaned up and take Grandma and myself for haircuts. This evening was men’s night out at church. We had a meal of hotdogs, hamburgers, fries, and baked beans. Our speaker for the evening was Poke county sheriff Grady Judd. He is a devoted Christian and gave his testimony and how God has worked in his life. It was also ladies night out for our Sunday school class. They all went out to eat at a new Mexican restaurant in Dade City. When we got home it was time to watch Dancing with the Stars which we had recorded.

I knew I wasn’t going to get much work done this morning as I had a 9:30 am follow up dentist appointment. When I had my teeth cleaned last week they found bump on the gum of my front tooth. The x-ray didn’t show anything and it hadn’t change from last week so they wanted me to make an appointment with a specialist in Wesley Chapel. When I got home Cheri called and got me in for a 1:00 pm appointment. Cheri worked in the sewing room this morning and said that she would go with me for my appointment. It turned out that I had an abbesses in the root of the tooth and had to have a root canal done. Within half an hour I was done and two hundred and fifty dollars poorer plus what the insurance payed for. We were near Sam’s Club so we stopped and got some cereal and some of their great ribs. Then we had to make a stop a Wal-Mart to pick up some antibiotics for me. After all was said and done it was near 4:00 pm when we finally got home. We had some of the Sam’s Club ribs and a salad for supper (They still have the best ribs). We settled in for an evening of TV and of course to watch Dancing with the Stars. My day didn’t go as I had planned which shows us that God is the one that is in control of what we do. Thank you God for taking care of us.

This Sunday was no different than last Sunday. Church and Sunday school were both very good. We passed on lunch today because they had some great snacks at Sunday school. On the way home we stopped at Wal-Mart and picked up medicine and groceries for Grandma. Stopped by her place to drop of the groceries and to see how she was doing. We couldn’t stay long as we had groceries in the car that we needed to get home and in the refrigerator. It was after 1:30 pm when we got home. This afternoon we settled in for some TV and nap time. I did struggle to stay awake to watch the NASCAR race which was very good. No football for me today as the Green Bay Packers have bye today. We had a rain storm come through this evening and received ½ inch.

I started the blog with Sept-31 but realized that couldn’t be right, something I never learned in school. Cheri fixed me biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast. It is so nice of her to do it when she doesn’t like it. Cheri spent the day in her sewing room. I worked on painting the rollout drawers and did Bible study while each coat of paint dried. When the painting was done I worked on cutting the landscape pavers. I managed to get them cut without any more breakage. Later this afternoon we made a trip to Lowe’s to see about getting a new landscape paver to replace the one I broke yesterday. We didn’t find the paver at Lowe’s so we headed to Home Depot and stopped to check Larry and Denise’s house on the way. Home Depot didn’t have the paver either. So I guess I will have to check with some landscape yards to see if they carry them. Mike and Pam had told us about a new place to eat which is close to Home Depot and decided to give it a try. It is called Tokyo Grill & Sushi. The food was very good and reasonable. Our last stop was Winn Dixie to get some milk. When we got home it was time to watch the Wisconsin Badger football game that I was recording. It was a good game but the Badgers did lose. This evening we could hear thunder in the distance but never did get any rain.

The last day of September and I am not sure where it went. I had a crazy dream last night or maybe I should say a nightmare. I dreamed that I had just received the Republican nomination for president of the United States. I along with several people were having a meeting on how to promote my campaign when I woke up. So much for stupid dreams. Cheri was busy with her Friday house work and Laundry before heading to the sewing room. She is working on a new project for 4th of July. I worked on getting the rollout drawers sanded and ready for paint. Later this afternoon I went up to Jan’s and worked on repairing the sunroom roof. I also removed some of the concrete decorative pavers along the carport drive as they were causing the rain water to pool on the carport driveway. I brought them home and plan on cutting a section out of them so the water can run off the driveway. Well I tried to cut one when I got home and broke it. After that I decide to quit for the day. Still it was a good day God made and got a lot done.
