First I want to wish our daughter Nikki a happy birthday. It was 41 degrees
here this morning and cold getting the car loaded with the tools I need for my
days’ work. My first stop was to give an estimate on some touch up painting,
taping and plaster, and power washing driveway and patio. My next stop was to
check out a leaking patio roof. It was repaired five weeks ago but the guy that
did the repair didn’t do it correctly. So I will have to buy the materials I
need to repair it, maybe I can work on it tomorrow. My next stop was to do some
caulking around some base board, rework some cabinet doors that wasn’t install
correctly, and install an under cabinet light. On the way home I stopped at
Lowe’s to pick up the materials I need for tomorrows work. Cheri went next door
to visit with Jean this morning. Then Cheri spent a lot of time in the kitchen
making some apple cinnamon rolls. She also put together a chicken Fajita
casserole from a recipe she found on line to have for dinner this evening along
with some fried bread dough. It was very good and have enough for a couple more
meals. This evening we settled in to watch Dancing with the Stars and were
surprised that it was a double elimination.

Grandma went to church with us today. Pastor Randy had a good message
today. Charlie also did an excellent job presenting the Sunday school lesson.
After Sunday school the three of us along with Dick and Linda went out for
lunch at Sonny’s BBQ. It was our treat for them picking us up at the airport
from out trip to Mexico. When we got home we changed clothes and then made a
trip to Rooms To Go discount center to check on a new bed, no luck there. We also
stopped at Badcock furniture in Zephyrhills and no luck there. Our next stop
was Rural King to check on a light for a customer I am doing work for. The light
I seen in there I thought would work but after checking it out I wouldn’t be
able to mount it probably so went to Lowe’s where I found one that should work.
When we got home Cheri settled in with her book and I watching the NASCAR race
that I was recording. We had our usual Sunday night pizza for dinner. The temp
today was a little warner but the stiff breeze still made it cold enough that
we needed a jacket.

Normally we have cereal for breakfast but this morning Cheri fixed us
bacon, eggs, hash browns, and toast along with orange juice and coffee. It
doesn’t get any better than that. My plan for today was to finish getting the
house power washed. But after getting the side of the house done I ran out of
energy and could do any more power washing today. All that is left to do is the
back of the house and shed. Next I worked on the project of the rear brakes on
the car that I had started late yesterday. Cheri was busy doing her dusting and
ironing. No lunch today as we had the big breakfast. After resting for a bit we
headed to Lakeland to Pier One Imports. Cheri had seen a painting at Chris and
Cheryl’s that she liked and found out the Cheryl had bought it at Pier One. She
called Pier One and they had one in stock. But when she looked at it the colors
were a little different from the one that Cheryl had. So she passed on buying
it. We also made a stop at a furniture store looking for a new king size bed.
We didn’t have any luck on finding what Cheri wanted. Our next stop was Harbor
Freight to pick up new outside rope lights for the house as the old ones were
looking pretty bad. We also went to Plant City to check on beds at Southern
Hospitality, no luck there either. It was around 4:30 pm when we got home. It
was time for me to settle in and watch the Wisconsin Badger football game that
I had recorded and Cheri with a new book she is reading.

It was another cold
morning of 47 degrees, yes the heat is on in the house. I left the house at
6:10 am to have breakfast and Bible study with my accountability group in Dade
City. Our Bible study leader wasn’t with us this morning so we were pretty lack
on the Bible study. I also had to leave early so I could get home to shower and
shave before leaving for Cheri’s 9:40 am eye doctor appointment in Brooksville.
She got another good report and no change on the eye drops. Then we headed to
Wesley Chapel to have lunch at Applebee’s which was very good. Then we stopped at Home
Depot to see about getting gate hinges for the vinyl fence I will be
installing, no luck on the hinges but did buy four big pots of mums to put in
front of the house. They are all budded out ready to bloom. We got an e-mail
from Grandma telling us she needed medicine and groceries so we headed over to
Wal-Mart where I dropped Cheri off and I went to Lowe’s to buy a new sprinkler
timer for the flowers as the old one no longer works. Then back to Wal-Mart to
help Cheri with the shopping. After delivering the medicine and groceries we
headed home. We been having a noise from the car when applying the breaks. So I
pulled off the left rear wheel and found that it was time to install new brakes.
So I made a trip to Auto Zone to get new breaks. I got the new brakes installed
on the left side and was 6:00 pm when I got done and I was done for the day.
With having a big lunch today it was just a snack this evening while watching
TV.

It was back to my normal
time of getting up as I had work to do today. Cheri had a busy day catching up
on house work from last week. I left the house at 8:30 am and headed to Tampa
Bay country Club to install the cabinet door and drawer pull. I installed 32 of
them. It was around 1:30 pm when I got home. A project that I have been wanting
to do here at home is putting up the fence along part of the carport so I can have
a more secure place for tools and to make things look better (hide the clutter).
I bought the fencing back in February and for some reason I haven’t gotten to
the project. So this afternoon I went and got more of the materials and plan on
starting next week between my work jobs at Tampa Bay Country Club. We had
leftover chili for dinner and now this is perfect weather for it. This morning
it was 54 degrees and 66 degrees in the house so I started the furnace to warm
up the house. It did warmed to the low 70’s, nice for working outside and today
my work was inside.

Sure is good to be home and sleeping in our own bed. I had planned on
sleeping in this morning but was up at my usual time. Cheri did sleep in this
morning as the trip really wore her out. Cheri was busy doing laundry today as
there was a lot of it to do from our trip. I worked on power washing the house.
I did get the front of the house and awnings done. I had planned on doing more
but the old body said it was time to quit. All that is left is the side and
back of the house to do. I made some calls today and have one job tomorrow
installing cabinet door and drawer pulls. I did some cleaning in the shop and
got things ready for the job tomorrow. By 3:00 pm Cheri and I both were ready
for the recliners. Cheri had made chili for dinner witch was a new recipe and
was very good. The evening was spent catching up on TV shows we had recorded.
It was 59 degrees here this morning and seemed really cold after being in Puerto Vallarta where the morning temp would be in
the high 70’s.

We were up at 5:00 am local time getting ready to leave for home. Darren
was taking us to the airport leaving at 6:30 am. Wyatt woke up just before we
were ready to leave. So Grandpa and Grandma got goodbye hugs before we left. We
had a lot of fun with Wyatt while being with them. It was hard saying goodbyes
when we don’t know when we will see them again. Our flight left on time and
when we got to Mexico City we were going to have a very long walk to our next
gate and the gentleman that helped us to find which gate we were going to said
that we could take a ride in the golf cart. I am happy for that as it was about
half a mile. Our fight to Atlanta was good and even got in half an hour early.
Going through customs went smoothly and only had to wait a couple of minutes.
But when we got to security we had about a 30 minute wait. We were about two
hours early at out gate for the fight to Tampa and there was a Five Guys
Hamburger close to our gate so we got something to eat. When it came time to
board the plane to Tampa the plane hadn’t arrived. So we had to wait another 30
minutes. So we didn’t get into Tampa until 8:30 pm. Dick and Linda picked us up
and brought us home. We arrived home at 9:45 pm. Sure was good to be home. It
was a long day but with God’s help everything went smoothly.

Cheri and I ventured out by ourselves this morning after a light breakfast.
Our first stop was the bank to exchange some money for Darren and Brooke. Then
we hit all the flea market shops in the area. It was fun looking at all the
different items they had for sale. I did buy a Harley tee shirt, I had said I
wasn’t buying any more but couldn’t pass this one up. We stopped at La Langosta
Loca restaurant which was all open air and asked for a view and a nice breeze.
They didn’t disappoint us as they took us to the second level right at the end
by the beach with a great view and a nice breeze. We had some shrimp tacos and
a couple bottles of water. We sat for a long time watching the waves come in
and the people. It was around 2:00 pm when we got back to Darren and Brooke’s.
This evening we all met Chris and Cheryl at Joe Jacks Fish Shack for dinner.
Cheri and I had fish and chips which was pretty good. When it was time to leave
we said our goodbyes to Chris and Cheryl as we won’t see them again before we
leave. We got home in time to watch the sunset. It is really going to be hard
to say goodbye to Darren, Brooke and Wyatt as we have no idea when we will get
to see them again.

Brooke left early to attend a brunch with her mother. We along with Darren
and Wyatt went downtown for breakfast at a new place Darren had heard about. It
was very good. After breakfast we made our daily walk along the boardwalk near
the beach. Checked out some of the living art people, some cool ideas. Then it
was time to head home and get ready to watch the Green Bay Packers play. They actually
did better than I thought they would with the backup quarterback. They did lose
but put up a pretty good fight. Later this afternoon we all went over to Chris
and Cheryl’s for some pool time and a roast beef dinner with all the trimmings.
We were back home in time to see the sunset which wasn’t all that good. We
watched some TV and called it a night.

This morning Darren, Brooke, Wyatt, Cheri, and I left at 8:30 am and went
downtown for breakfast at the same place we went to yesterday. Then it was a
walk along the beach again. It was around 10:30 am when we got home. Time to
settle in and watch the Wisconsin Badger football game which the Badgers won. This
evening we headed out to have dinner at Ah Caramba where we met Chris and
Cheryl. The meal is pricey but what an excellent meal. When Darren and I drove
down to Mexico we eat there and wanted to make sure Cheri got a chance to go
plus there is a great view of the city and ocean. We were back home in time to
see the sunset. After Wyatt went to bed Darren and Brooke went out on a date
night, something that they haven’t been able to do since they moved here. So Grandma
and I had baby settling duty or I should say Grandma did.

We didn’t get up until we heard Wyatt. He was a busy boy this morning
feeling much better. Darren had another busy day of work so in order for it to
be quiet for him we along with Brooke and Wyatt headed out of the house. We
dropped Wyatt off at day care and then we along with Brooke headed downtown for
breakfast and then a walk along the beach with some shopping for Cheri and
Brooke. Well I guess me too as I bought a new baseball cap. After our shopping
and walk we headed back to the house. Darren was done work and wanted to go
downtown for lunch. We met Chris and Cheryl at a bar and grill. After lunch
Darren and Brooke went to pick up Wyatt and then go home to give him his
medication. We went with Chris and Cheryl back to their place to visit until
Darren, Brooke, and Wyatt came. Then we all headed to the pool. After pool time
we had dinner which Chris and Cheryl made for us. After dinner we headed back
to Darren and Brooke’s to watch the sunset and afterglow, not a very pretty
sunset. We settled in to watch some TV before calling it a night.

I didn’t get up as early this morning but did hear Wyatt putting up a fuss.
He isn’t feeling very good as I think it is from the shots he got yesterday.
Darren had several important phone calls this morning so Brooke took Wyatt and
went downtown so Darren could have it quite for work. Cheri was slower getting
up and we hung out reading and spending time on the computer. Brooke and Wyatt
came back around noon and Wyatt was doing much better. Darren took a lunch
break and we went to get some fish and shrimp tacos for lunch. Later in the
afternoon Darren took me to the bank so I could exchange some US money for
Mexican Pesos. We along with Darren, Brooke, and Wyatt met Chris and Cheryl at
a restaurant downtown near the beach for some American food. We had a good meal
and then walked down to the beach. It wasn’t a good night for the sunset so we
headed home. Watched some TV and called it a night.

I tried to sleep in this
morning but when I heard Wyatt crying I needed to get up. Which was around 6:
am local time. The Aleve got me through another day without any fever and joint
pain. Darren had to make a lot of phone calls with is work so everyone had to
be quite while he was on the phone. Cheri went with Brooke to take Wyatt to the
doctor as it was time for a couple of his shots. He was a pretty fussy boy the
rest of the afternoon and evening. Tried to put him down for a nap a couple
times but all he wanted was to be held. While Brooke and Cheri were out with
Wyatt Darren took a break and we went down to street stand for some fish and
shrimp tacos which were really good. We had planned on going out for dinner but
because of Wyatt not feeling good we decide to go and get some chicken burritos and quesadillas for
dinner. They were very good and had some supper hot sauce that was way too hot
for Cheri and me. We watched some TV and also watched the sunset which wasn’t
the best.

We were up at 4:30 am
which was half hour earlier than we planned on getting up but excited about
leaving to see Darren, Brooke, and Wyatt today. Also had a heavy rain come
through and didn’t look good for Dick and Linda to take us to the airport but
turned out to be light by the time we left. I never look forward to going
through security but for some reason only God knows we were directed to the pre
check area which was much nicer. We left Tampa at 9:20 am and was a really
bumpy ride to Atlanta, so bad that they couldn’t serve any drinks or snacks. As
soon as we got off the plane we asked for help and directions to our next gate for
our flight to Mexico City. We had about a 45 minute wait and was close to a
McDonalds so we had a drink and chicken sandwich. When we were finished with
that it was time to board our next flight. The flight was three hours long so
Cheri read her book and I watched a movie. When we arrived in Mexico City we
had to go through customs which took a while as it was a long line we had to
wait in. After Customs we had no idea which way to go and a nice young lady
that spoke very good English helped us all the way to security which wasn’t bad
and had told us which terminal and gate we would be leaving from. We had a two
hour wait in Mexico City but by the time we got through customs and everything
else we only had 25 minutes before we boarded our flight to Puerto Vallarta
which was a little over an hour long. The airport is much smaller and didn’t
take long to find our bags and get a taxi to take us to the kid’s house. We
arrived in time to see the sunset. They kept Wyatt up so we could see him
before going to bed. He is still Grandpa’s boy but when Grandma brought out
some toys she brought with her he was all done with Grandpa. After he went to
bed we sat out and on the patio visiting and watch the fireworks before headed
to bed. I must say I had a good night last night and a good day today. So the Aleve
seems to be working thank God. Also thanking God for a safe trip to Puerto
Vallarta.

Not feeling good this
morning, no temp but all my joints and muscles ache to the point it is hard to
walk. We were really slow getting around this morning. We did make a quick trip
to Wal-Mart and then back home to rest for an hour before it was time to head
to Tampa VA for my lab at 1:00 pm and doctor’s appointment at 2:00 pm. Once
again they can’t figure out but my problem is as all test come back negative. They
think it might possibly be Reactive Arthritis. I am to take one Aleve in the
morning and one at night for ten days to see what happens. On the way home we
stopped at Chile’s for dinner. Cheri’s meal was good but mine was terrible and
even broke a tooth trying to eat an enchilada. We were home by 5:00 pm and
ready for the recliners and TV. All that is left to pack is our toiletries in
the morning. Dick and Linda are picking us up at 6:30 am and taking us to the
Tampa airport.

I got up with aching
joints and feeling a little under the weather but no temp which was good. On
the way to church I said to Cheri I probably should have stayed home but really
wanted to be in church and Sunday school. Well I had a hard time getting
through church and told Cheri that I needed to go home and skip Sunday school.
When we got home I was aching all over and went right to bed. I slept for two
hours and got up and headed for the recliner feeling some better but not great.
Cheri spent the day reading and getting clothes laid out and ready to pack for
Mexico. I watched the NASCR race which was pretty good. Cheri fixed us pizza
for dinner and then it was an evening of TV.

Planned on sleeping in
this morning but woke up all stuffed up and couldn’t go back to sleep. Cheri
was also up early so we went out for breakfast. It has been a long time since
we have gone out for breakfast. Still went our favorite breakfast restaurant “Sunrise
restaurant”. After we got done eating we drove on down the street to check out
a new restaurant that has just opened called “Corozal Restaurant” Puerto Rican
Cuisine. Something new to check out. We were back home by 9:30 am. I planned on
getting Bob’s truck cleaned out and my shop cleaned up. Well I did get the
truck done and didn’t feel like doing any more. Cheri was mixing up a batch of Chocolate
chip cookies for us at my request. I rounded up all the things that Darren
ordered for us to bring to Mexico, my computer bag is going to be pretty full.
Later I went back outside to check out our security camera as it hasn’t worked
since the storm. After checking it out
it will have to be sent in for repair which should be under warranty. But didn’t
feel like going through all the hassle of getting that done today. I also made
some calls to clients on jobs that I will be doing when we get back from
Mexico, seem like I get a call or two every day. Cheri spent the afternoon
reading her book. At 3:30 pm it was time for me to settle in and watch the
Wisconsin Badger football game. They did win but had to work for it and had me
worried for a while.

I headed to Dade City at
6:10 am for my accountability group breakfast and Bible study. I had to leave
after breakfast because I had a 9:00 am appointment to install a ceiling fan. This
is the fan I was supposed to install two months ago but couldn’t because of
being sick. I left the house at 7:40 am to make a stop at Home Depot to pick up
a ten foot step ladder as the fan is going in a 13 foot entry way. I got to the
work site at 8:40 am and went right to work. I had done a lot of praying about
this project and many talks with God about it and each time I talked to him he
gave me a clearer picture of how I should do it. Well I am here to tell you
everything went like clockwork. Not a single thing could have been better,
thank you God. It was near 4:00 pm when I arrived home hot, tired, and ready
for a shower. Cheri was busy all day doing laundry, getting groceries for
Grandma, bank, and many other stores for shopping. Cheri fixed us soup for
dinner which was good. Then to the recliners to watch a little TV before
calling it a night.

I felt better this morning which was good because I had two Lanais to power wash this morning. I got to the first
one at 9:00 am and turned out to be a major job as I also had to move furniture
around but was done by 10:30 am. The next one went really well and was done and
on my way home by 12:00 pm. I was ready for lunch and then a good hot shower. I
was feeling really hot so Cheri took my temp and it was 101. So I crawled into
bed for a nap which lasted for only 45 minutes as the phone rang and woke me
up. Another project to do and told them I couldn’t get to it for over a week as
we will be in Mexico for a week. Cheri had a busy day with laundry and running
some errands. Later this afternoon I cleaned out the car of my tool and getting
them ready for tomorrow as I will be using Bob’s truck. I got another call that
guy wanted a satellite dish removed from his house and wanted it done right away.
I should have told him no but went and did it. It was 5:00 pm when I got back
home and still had to get things together for tomorrow. So dinner wasn’t until
6:00 pm. By 9:00 pm I was ready for bed.

Today started out the same as yesterday with a temp of 100.2. The good
thing was I didn’t have any work scheduled because I had to take Grandma for
her 10:20 am eye doctor appointment. It was after 12:30 when I got home. Cheri
was busy doing her Wednesday house work. After lunch I took Bob’s truck and
filled it with gas so it will be ready to go tomorrow. Then headed to shop to
do some work for the fan project I have to do on Friday. Well when I opened the
door there was water on the floor. Which means a water leak somewhere. It took
me a while to find it and was the attachment at the sink faucet. It had been
installed when the house was new and they were using the gray pipe at that
time. I when to Lowe’s but no luck there and then to the mobile home store and
found what I needed. After getting that repaired I didn’t feel like doing
anything else for the day has it was near 4:00 pm. After dinner we settled in
for an evening of TV.

The day didn’t start out
too well for me as I had a temp of 100.2. So I was feeling a little under the
weather. I had a power washing appointment this morning at 9:00 am. On the way
to the appointment I was really sweating but knew I needed to push through to
get the power washing done. I got home at 11:00 am and was feeling a little
better. I was really dirty and headed to the shower which also made me feel
better. Cheri had been busy doing her normal Tuesday house work. After lunch we
headed to the recliners to rest and tried to watch some TV. Cheri and I both
ended up taking a short nap. We left the house at 3:45 pm to pick up Ron and
Sandy to go out for dinner at BJ’s. It is the place where we get the early bird
special on Hors d'Oeuvres (spelling ?) and make a meal of them. We had a really good visit as it has
been a long time since we were last together. We were back home around 7:00 pm.
We settled in to watch some of the new season TV shows, still not sure about
some of them.

Cheri and I are both low
on energy today not wanting to do anything, not sure why just one of those
days. I had an electrical job this morning over in Tamp Bay Golf and Country
Club. I was back home by 11:00 am. Cheri was busy working in her sewing room
and finished her painting project and working on mattress covers for Wyatt’s
Pack and Play. After lunch we sat down to watch some TV and I wasn’t able stay
awake so I went to the bedroom for a long nap. I was woke up by the telephone.
Bob called to tell me I had a driveway to power wash. So I call the lady and
made arrangements to do it tomorrow. Bob had told me I could use his truck so
Cheri and I went to get it because the power washer will not fit in our car
unless I take it apart. After we were done with this it was back to the
Recliners to watch some TV. Once again I couldn’t stay awake and slept through
several programs. Cheri fixed us Broccoli Cheese soup for dinner. Then it was
back to the recliners for more TV. Yep I went back to sleep and Cheri woke me
up at 9:00 pm to go to bed. I said what about Dancing with the Stars and she
said that she could watch it tomorrow. I said that we are going to watch it now
as with all the sleep I would be able to stay awake. Well I ended up sleeping
through about half of it.

Our Sundays are pretty
much the same each week. Cheri was up earlier because she had to get the Sunday
school lunch ready. Grandma went to church with us. After Sunday school we
dropped Grandma off and then headed home to get the leftovers from Sunday
school in the refrigerator and change clothes. Then we headed out to Wal-Mart
to pick up Grandma’s groceries and medicine. I dropped Cheri off at Wal-Mart
and then headed over to Lowe’s to pick up a couple of things I need for the
project I am working on tomorrow. I got back to Wal-Mart in time to help Cheri
with groceries and I waited for the medicine. By the time we got everything
done and home it was after 2:00 pm. I settled in to watch the NASCAR race when
I got a text from Mike next door wanting to know if I wanted to fly my drone.
So we headed to the back yard to fly. Mike gave me some good pointers as I have
never flowing one before. Actually I did pretty well. I did crash one time but
no damage. Then it was back to the race and then the Green Bay Packer football
game with the Texas Cowboys. I knew it was going to be a hard fought game and
the Packers came away with a win with 11 seconds left in the game. Cheri even
got existed watching some of the game. Darren sent us some pictures and a video
of Wyatt with his new firetruck, he is a busy little boy.

No work today as we had a
few things to get caught up on. We left
the house at 9:30 am and went to Sam’s Club as Cheri wanted to get chicken
salad and croissants to make lunch for Sunday school tomorrow. We had to go to
Sam’s because she says that theirs are the best. Once again we bought other
things that we hadn’t planned on so our chicken salad and croissants cost us
$168. This seems to happen everything we go there. When we got home Cheri went
to the sewing room to continue working on the mattress covers and has them just
about done. I went for a haircut and then to Lowe’s to check out a few things
that might work to do the fan project next Friday. We are still have a problem
with the bedroom TV so I tried using a different cable and a different input,
now it is a wait and see what the results will be. Jerry and Cookie (Sunday
school friends) picked us up to go out for dinner at the Texas Road House in
Wesley Chapel. My steak was really good, Cheri’s not good, Jerry’s was good,
and cookie’s was overdone and had to have another one grilled for her. We were back home by 8:00 pm, just in time for
me to settle in and watch the Wisconsin Badgers play Nebraska. The Badgers came
away with a win but had to work for it. Cheri went to bed before the game was
over and it was after 11:00 pm before I got to bed.

I was on the road to Dade
City at 6:10 am to meet with my accountability group for breakfast and Bible
study. I got home a little after 8:00 am. Cheri left at 8:30 am for her hair cut
appointment. While she was gone I went over to Jean’s to remove a light bulb
base that was broken off in the light socket. Cheri was back by 9:30 am and I
headed to work. I had another really good day. I got cabinets hung in the
laundry room, two wire racks put up in the garage, and a shelf installed for
the golf cart charger. Then checked out an additional project that I may be
doing there. It was a little past 4:00 pm when I got home. I was tired but felt
good and felt even better after a long hot shower. Cheri worked all day on
making the mattress covers for Wyatt’s Pack & Play. Cheri also made us Clam
chowder for dinner along with some dessert that Jean next door made for us. I
got a call from Bob this evening and it looks like I have a couple more jobs to
do. I will call and check on them tomorrow. We called Kari (daughter) this
evening and wished her a happy birthday.

I told Cheri this morning
that I was excited about going back to work. I left the house at 8:00 am. I had
a good day and everything went well. I installed a new electrical outlet
outside the garage running wiring from the electrical panel and all had to be
in conduit, big job but went smoothly. Next I moved the sprinkling system
control box from the back of the house to the side of the garage where I
installed the new electrical outlet. I had to dig up the control cable and
bring it up into the control panel and rewire it. It was a little past 1:00 pm
when I got done with that project. Next I removed a wire shelf from the laundry
room above the washer and dryer. Tomorrow I will be hanging cabinets in the
laundry room. On the way home I stopped at Lowe’s to pick up a few things I am
going to need tomorrow. It was after 3:00 pm when I got home and was tired but
felt good about my days’ work. I was ready for a good hot shower and then the
recliner. Cheri had been busy doing her usual Thursday house work and was in
her recliner reading a book when I got home. She fixed us pork chops and dirty
rice for dinner. I didn’t watch very much TV before I was asleep, so we headed
off to bed at 8:00 pm. We watch some more TV in bed.

When I went out to get the
morning paper I see Jean had all the screen setting out for me to reinstall. So
after breakfast I headed out to get them back up. I also had to repair two of
the screen which takes a while to do. Cheri headed over to Wal-Mart this
morning to pick up some material to make two more mattress covers for Wyatt’s
Pack & Play. Brooke’s parents are moving to Mexico and will be about ten
minutes away from Darren and Brooke. They are going to buy a Pack & Play to
have at Brooke’s parents and need a mattress cover for the foam that they will
use for a mattress. A month or so ago we have been having a problem with our
bedroom TV. The picture goes in and out at different times and sometimes you
have hit the TV to even make it come on. So I had bought a new TV to replace it
when they were on sale. Well today I was feeling better and decided to check
the old one out and unplugged all the connections and reinstalled them. Well it
see to be working again and if continues to work I will return the new TV. I also
called the guy I was supposed to put the fan in for and he told me that he had
someone else doing the job. I was supposed to have done it over a month ago but
being sick I just could do it. So could understand why he got someone else to
do it. Well a couple of hours later he called me back and said that he wants me
to come and do the work. So this afternoon I went over as he said that he had
some additional work he want to have done and wanted to show me what it was. On
the way home I stopped at Lowe’s to pick up some of the things I needed and
will be starting the project tomorrow. Cheri also work on her painting project
and is just about done with it.

Once again I didn’t do my
morning walk. I seem to have more energy if I don’t walk. When I went out to
get the morning paper Jean was trying to remove the screens from her house
because she was having it power washed today. So I went over and removed them
and put them in her shed. I was going to power wash this morning but had
scheduled a visit with Mike and Kathy at 10:45 am. We hadn’t seen them for a
while and wanted to see how Kathy was doing. I also took my drone over so Mike
could check it out before we get together as he is going to teach me how to fly
mine. We got home at noon and after lunch I did go out and finished power
washing the driveway, happy to have that done. Cheri was busy doing her normal
Tuesday house work. This evening we got a video call from Darren and got to see
Wyatt and talk to him. Nice that Darren does this and that way Wyatt won’t
forget who we are. The rest of the evening was spent in front of the TV.

I wasn’t in the mood to
walk this morning, think I am starting to get lazy. Cheri and I had 9:00 am
dental appointments to have our teeth cleaned. After we were done with that we
headed over to Home Depot to see about renting a 12 foot ladder for the fan
project I have to do. Then we stopped to check on Larry and Denise’s house, all
was good there. Then a stop at Lowe’s to return some power washer parts I didn’t
need. Then a stop at Wal-Mart to pick up a few things we needed. Then a stop at
Rural King to buy another drone for a Christmas present for Darren. After
getting it home I don’t think I would be able to get it through security at the
airport as they would probably think the propellers could be used as a weapon.
So I guess I will return it. After lunch I didn’t feel like doing anything more
today. I did take a long nap which made me feel better. Cheri wasn’t in the
mood to do anything more so she joined me in the recliner and reading her book.
Late this afternoon we made a trip over to Walgreens to pick up a prescription for
Cheri to take before we go to Mexico. The evening was spent watching TV and
Dancing with the Stars.

Hard to believe another
month is gone. The good thing it means we have some cooler weather coming.
Still feeling really low on energy this morning so I didn’t do my morning walk.
Also received and e-mail from Grandma that she isn’t going to church this
morning. So it was going to be just Cheri and me. Well the closer it got to
leaving for church the worst I felt. So we didn’t go to church but felt better and
did go to Sunday school. I did have a hot spell in Sunday school but only lasted
a couple minutes. On the way home we stopped by Grandma’s to see how she was
doing. She had bumped her elbow on the cabinet and broke open the skin and had
trouble getting it to stop bleeding. But was ok when we were there. We also
stopped at Rural King as I saw that they had drones on sale and wanted to check
them out. Wanted something cheap to learn to fly. I spent the afternoon
watching the NASCAR race and Cheri spent it reading. Around 4:00 pm Jean came
over to see how I was doing and to visit for a while. After she left it was
time for our Sunday pizza and to settle in for an evening of TV.

I got up this morning with
no energy, not even enough to do my morning walk. After breakfast and coffee I
headed for the recliner to rest. I was wondering if it might be because of the
flu shot I got yesterday. The shot didn’t affect Cheri has she was busy all day
in her sewing room working on her latest painting project. Around 10:00 am I
felt like I really needed to go out and do some power washing on the driveway.
I was also able reach over to Jean’s to power washer the patio on her house.
With that done and about one third of our driveway done I had to quit as I was
too tired to do anymore. While I was doing the power washing Cheri made a trip
to Hobby Lobby to get some paints she needs for her project. After a shower to
get cleaned up and lunch I settled in to watch the Wisconsin Badgers football game.
They did win but had to work for it. We had left over lasagna for supper, think
it is always better the second day.
