Grandma went to church with us today. Pastor Randy’s message was “The Power of Prayer” from James 5:16-18. Our Sunday school lesson was “Revealed” from Ephesians 3:1-13. We were home by 1:00 pm. I napped through a couple of shows before the NASCAR race started. Than Cheri napped while I watched the race. The people that live behind us have a lot of dogs and they got through the fence and was running round in our park this morning. Well this afternoon they got out again. When I look over the fence I can count eight dogs and there is also some puppies. It has been a problem with them barking day and night. I hate to say anything being afraid they might retaliate in some way. Our neighbor said that he was going to file a complaint with Pasco County. We had our usual Sunday evening pizza while watching more TV. Thank you God for a blessed day to be in church and Sunday school to learn more of your word.

It must be Saturday because Cheri and I went to the Hole in One donut shop this morning at 7:00 am. When we got home I went to work cutting the Corian vanity top. I hadn’t cut any Corian before and was surprised how easy it was to cut. While I was doing the cutting Cheri when to the grocery store to get Grandma’s groceries, had a hard time finding the things they wanted. She was really tired when she got home and was done for the day. I cleaned out all the tools from the truck and need to go through them and get them in the right containers. I made a trip to Lowe’s to get some additional screws as the supply I carry in the truck was low. Also planned on buying the wainscoting and materials for a customer in Tampa Bay country but Lowe’s didn’t have everything I needed. Later in the afternoon Cheri and I went back to Lowe’s to buy potted mums and got five large pots of them to replace the old ones we had. After getting them set out I made a trip to Home Depot where I was able to get the wainscoting and materials. I also went to see a couple here in our park that wants me to remove a garden tub and install a shower module. Had talked to them before and told them I would see what I could fine to replace the tub. After talking and telling them what I could do they said they wanted me to do the work. It will be two weeks before I can do it. It was 4:00 pm when I got done with everything. Time to take a shower and get cleaned up. I settled in to watch the Badger football game that I recorded. They did win but I don’t think they played as good as the last couple of games. We had soup for supper along with a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. We watched a couple more new shows that seem to be pretty good. Thank you God for a bless day.

I didn’t have any appointments for work today so Cheri and I went out for breakfast at the Village Inn. We had a good breakfast and then stopped at the bank on the way home. Cheri is still very low on energy and needs to rest more. She did do the dusting today. I worked outside cleaning up the reclaimed lumber from the patio project. I got all the nails pulled and the lumber put away. I took a load of scrap lumber out to Ron and Sandy’s to burn in their burn pit. Ron and I visited a while and checked out their bedroom where I will be installing a new lament floor. It was 3:30 pm when I got home and was ready to be done for the day. We had leftover roast beef, potatoes, and carrots for supper and then carrot cake for dessert. We watched several of our favorite shows and one new show “Stump Town” which was very good. One other one we watched was “Bluff City Law” which I think will be a lot like Suits. Thank you God for guiding us through another day and blessed us with so much.

Cheri was busy doing laundry when I left for my 9:00 am appointment at the same place I was working on Tuesday. They had many different projects they wanted done. The biggest one was removing the old caulking and some of the grout in their shower and install new caulking. I also screwed down some loose patio boards, removed some baseboard, hung a shelf, filled the water softener, put a bed frame together, and measured up for the installation of some wainscoting for the bedroom. On the way home I stopped to see a couple I have done a lot of work for. They just lose their daughter to congestive heart failure. It was near 5:00 pm when I got home. The people came and power washed the house this afternoon. It’s all clean and shiny. I used to do the power washing myself and would take me three days to do it as it really hurt my back doing it. Cheri had a haircut this afternoon and then fixed a pot roast with carrots, onions, and potatoes in the new Instant pot for supper. We had carrot cake Cheri made for dessert while watching TV. We watched some of the new fall shows. I did watch the Green Bay Packers football game that they lost. Thank you God for a blessed day.

I didn’t have to be anywhere this morning for work so stayed in bed until 6:00 am and still tired. The first thing I did this morning was take the truck through the car wash, had big collection of love bugs all over the front. Dick and Linda picked us up at 10:30 am to go to Lakeland and to get the Sunday school kitchen back splash tiles. Dick and Linda donated the money to pay for them. On the way home we stopped at Olive Garden to have lunch. It was very good and had a nice visit with Dick and Linda. When we got home Cheri headed for her recliner as she didn’t have a good night sleeping. She doesn’t have much energy and needs to get her strength built back up. I went outside to remove nails from the patio frame I took down yesterday. I will be able to reclaim some of the two by fours to reuse on other projects. I only lasted an hour as it was just too hot for me and only got half done. I showered and got cleaned up and then joined Cheri to watch some TV but ended up taking a long nap. We didn’t have any supper as we had a big lunch so it was a few snacks along with an evening of TV. Enjoyed watching the new fall shows. Thank you God for time with friends and your blessing today.

I left the house a little past 7:00 am to meet with the accountability group for Bible study and breakfast. There were nine of us this morning and we were studying John 4:1-26. Cheri had a fasting lab at 8:00 am. Then went to have her second shingles shot and a trip to Wal-Mart. Then home to do some house work and a visit with Jean. I had a 9:15 am appointment over in Tampa Bay country to remove a patio structure and was hot working out in the sun but got it all down by noon. Then I replace 5’ by 6’ broken screen in their neighbor’s house. I thought I would have time to visit a friend but by the time I got all the patio lumber loaded it was time to head for home. When I got home I unloaded all the lumber. I will be able to use on other projects. It was near 4:00 pm when I got in the house to clean up. I had a men’s night out with our Sunday school men and Cheri had a ladies night out with the Sunday school ladies. We had 18 men in our outing and 19 ladies in the ladies outing. It was around 8:30 pm when we all got home. We went to bed and watch some TV before calling it a night. Thank you God for time spent with Christian friends.

Cheri was busy doing some fall cleaning in the house today along with her usual Monday housework. I think she did more than she should have. I left the house at 8:00 am to work here in the park for a lady that wanted the cabinet over the refrigerator raised so the new refrigerator would fit. Things went well and was done by 11:30 am. Around noon the Corian vanity top arrived for me to cut three inches off each side. I made a trip to Lowe’s to buy a new saw bade to do the project. I stopped at another place to check out a new project of removing a garden tub and installing a shower base and surround. After checking on what they wanted I made a trip to the mobile home store to get some pricing and shower base sizes. I couldn’t find anything that would fill the foot print of the garden tub. They may have to settle for a smaller unit and replace the floor tile. I was tired when I got home and not in the mood to cut the Corian vanity top. So I headed to the shower and then settled in for a nap and some TV. We had leftover brats and potato salad for supper. We watched a couple of new shows and then Dancing with the Stars. Thank you God for a blessed day.

Grandma went to church with us today. Pastor Randy’s message was from 1 Corinthians 11:23-32. And Observing the Lord’s Supper. Our Sunday school lesson was titled “Reconciled” from Ephesians 2:11-22. We were later getting home as we stayed around visiting after Sunday school. This afternoon I settled in to watch the NASCAR race I had recorded last night. Cheri read some and napped. After the race we watched a couple of movies and some remodeling shows we had recorded. I did some internet searching on how to cut a Corian counter top as I will be working on one tomorrow. We had our normal Sunday evening Pizza along with some snacks later while watching TV. Cheri is doing a little better each day still needs to get her strength back. Thank you God for the day we spent with you and our Christian friends.

Cheri and I met Mike and Pam at the Hole in One donut shop a little after 7:00 am. We had a good visit and has been a while since we have been together for a visit. It was around 9:00 am when we got home. Cheri went to work on making a batch of chocolate cookies. Later she make potato salad and brats to have for supper. I got out the pressure washer and washed the driveway. I was a little worry if the power washer would start as it hasn’t been used since I power washed at church last spring. It did start right up and worked well. After getting that done I needed to rest a bit and have lunch. I started to watch the Wisconsin Badger football game. I was recoding it so I could go over to the neighbor’s to reset several land scape pavers that are along the street and where out of place from people hitting them with their cars. After that I headed to the shower to get cleaned up and then settled in to watch the rest of the football game. This evening we were invited next door to play cards with Mike and Kathy. We had a good time and a lot of laughs. It was the first time we have seen them since they got home from their summer in New York. We had a lot of catching up on what they did for the summer. Thank you God for good friends and being blessed to have them in lives.

I didn’t have any appointments this morning so Cheri and I went out for breakfast at the Village Inn. We split an omelet along with pancakes. It has been a long time since we have there and was very good. Cheri was busy with laundry and this afternoon had a follow up doctor appointment. I finished getting the counter tops installed at the Sunday school kitchen. All that is left to do with the kitchen project is to install a back splash. I got a call to check out another project in our park. A friend of the couple I raised the cabinet for their new refrigerator now wants me to do the same thing to the cabinet above her refrigerator. Also wants me to paint her stove exhaust hood. Her hood is a standard size and told her to check out a new one and may be cheaper than me painting the existing one. I was home by 1:30 pm. Cheri had already left for her doctor’s appointment. I sat down in the recliner to rest a bit and woke up an hour later when Cheri came home. I headed for the shower and then joined Cheri to watch some TV. We had leftovers for supper and once again a bowl of ice cream later. Thank you God for guiding us through another day.

OK do you know what you were doing today 9-19 at 9:19 am? Yep I was putting grout in the tile I installed yesterday. When I got done with the grouting she asked me to clean out the old caulking from their bath tub and install new caulking. My next stop was another place to check out a bed headboard that included a closet on each side. They wanted to know if it could be retrofitted for a king size bed. I gave them a way that it could be retrofitted but that I didn’t have the expertise[G1]  to do it. The unit was made from cherry wood and would take a skilled craftsman to do the work. I was told that they had spent over $5000 for the unit and I told them even if they put a $1000 into it would be worth it. This afternoon I worked at the Sunday school kitchen installing the new counter tops. It was a big job and had trouble getting them up on the base cabinets by myself. I got the sink opening cut and ready to reinstall the sink but I was too tired to continue for the day. It was around 4:30 pm when I got home. Cheri spent the day getting her summer decorations put away and all the fall decorations out. She is feeling a little better each day and getting her strength back. She fixed us chip beef gravy over scrambled eggs on toast. Later while watching TV we had ice cream for dessert. I watched last Sunday’s Green Bay Packer football game. Even though I knew that they won I still enjoyed watching it. We also watched a couple other shows we had recorded. Thank you God for a blessed day.

Cheri is doing better but still having trouble getting a good night’s sleep. I think it may be the medications that is causing it. I had a 9:30 am appointment over in Tampa Bay country to install floor tile where I removed the cabinet last week. I have to go back tomorrow to put in the grout which shouldn’t take long although it took longer to get the tile in than I thought it would. On the way home I took the truck through the car wash. It hadn’t been washed since before we went to Wisconsin. Also wanted to get the spray coating on for the love bugs as they are out now and will be around for two to three weeks. I also took the car through the car wash has it was really dirty and to get the love bug coating. When I got home I headed to the shower as I was really dirty form all the dust I make while cutting the floor tile. Cheri was busy fixing spare ribs and salad for supper. After supper we settled in for an evening of TV. Glad the fall shows will be starting as we have run out of anything good to watch. Later this evening we called Darren to see how he was doing and told us that they have a hurricane coming in tomorrow that is going to be a category one. He said that they were already having heavy rain. Thank you God for guiding us through another day.

I left the house a little pass 7:00 am for my accountability group breakfast and Bible study. We studied John 3:22-36. I got home just in time to get the truck and head out for my 9:00 am appointment to reinstall the kitchen exhaust hood that I painted. It came out looking very good and the color was a good match to their new stove. I also got the bank of cabinet drawers repaired so they now open and close correctly. I was done with this project by noon. Cheri is doing well and back to doing some house work. She had a visit from Jean out next door neighbor and also had a call from Pam to see how she was doing. This afternoon we made a trip to Wesley Chapel to the UPS Store to mail out a package to Darren. He had ordered some keys for his boat and they wouldn’t ship them to Mexico so he had them shipped here. The UPS Store in Zephyrhills said that they don’t ship things to Mexico. I thought all stores had to follow the same rules. From the UPS Store we headed over to Sam’s Club to pick up a few things. When we got home I did some paper and computer work. Then joined Cheri to watch some TV. My stomach wasn’t feeling just right so Cheri fixed us soup for supper which helped make me feel better. Cheri got a call from her girlfriend that lives in Maine, she was checking in to see how Cheri was doing. Later we had a piece of cheese cake that I bought at Wal-Mart that was very good. Thank you God for a productive day and giving us guidance.

It was another sleepless night for Cheri. She was up early getting around and ready for her doctor’s appointments today. It was a very nice morning and no breeze so at 7:00 am I went out and put a coat of primer on the kitchen stove hood that I have been working on. Cheri’s first doctor appointment was at 9:15 am and had to be there a half hour early to fill out all the paper work as this is a new doctor for her. He is her heart doctor and got a pretty good report. He change one dosage of one of her meds and added a new one to help her get the blood pressure down lower. She has to go back in six weeks. When we got home I went back to work on the hood vent and did some more painting. Had to wait several hours between coats of paint. Cheri’s next appointment was at 2:45 pm with the lung doctor. She had more paper work to fill out as this is also a new doctor. His report was good and doesn’t have to go back for six months. On the way home we stopped at Wal-Mart to pick up a few things along with Cheri’s new meds. Our last stop was at Jersey’s Mikes to pick up Subs and bring them home for our supper. It was a later night of TV for me as I stayed up to watch Dancing With the Stars with Cheri. Thank you God for being with us today and getting good reports from Cheri’s doctors.

We along with Grandma went to church this morning. Sure was good to get back to our church and Sunday school. After being gone for six week it was good to see our church and Sunday school friends. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “We Must Pray” from James 5:13-15. Our Sunday school class is studying Ephesians. The lesson today was “Resurrected” from Ephesians 2:1-10. This afternoon I had an appointment to do some work. Don’t like to do work on Sunday but it was the only time we could get together. I had seven curtain rods to mount and remove a light fixture and install a ceiling fan. Two hours later I was back home. I took a shower and was ready to join Cheri for an evening of TV watching some shows we had recorded along with the NASCAR race. I wasn’t able to watch the Packer game but did see that they won over the Vikings. We had pizza for supper and some ice cream for dessert later while watching TV. Cheri is doing ok and has a couple of doctor appointments tomorrow to see what is next. Thank you God for getting us back to church and being in your word.

Cheri had been awake since 2:20 am and put in a bad night and mine wasn’t much better as we were lying in bed talking around 3:30 am. I finally did get up. By 6:30 am we were both ready to go to the Hole in One donut shop for our usual Saturday morning breakfast but had to wait until 7:00 am so Cheri could take her meds. After breakfast we made a stop at Lowe’s to get the paint I needed to paint the kitchen hood vent that I took out yesterday. When we got home Cheri said that she had ironing that she needed to do. I worked on getting all the grease off the hood vent and getting it ready to paint. I wanted to put on the primer coat but was too windy for that. This afternoon I had an appointment over in Tampa Bay country to remove a built in cabinet in the laundry room. It was a well-built cabinet and took some time to get it out. After the cabinet had been installed they tiled the laundry room so now with it removed there wasn’t any tile under it. It turned out that they have some extra tile and I will be going back to install the tile and add some baseboard where the cabinet was. It was 4:00 pm when I got home. I was hot and sweaty and ready for a hot shower. We had leftovers form the Mexican meal that Art and Ruby brought us yesterday. We watched a few shows we had recorded before calling it a night. Thank you God for productive day.

Let’s see it is Friday the 13th and a full harvest moon tonight what could possibly go wrong. Cheri is still taking it easy only doing a little bit and then resting. She did make a trip downtown to the UPS store to send out a set of boat keys that Darren had shipped to us. As most places won’t ship things to Mexico. We have done this before but today the clerk said that they don’t ship to Mexico. I am not sure what is going on as the other UPS store did ship to Mexico. Something more for us to check on. I had a 9:00 am appointment to raise the bottom of a cabinet over a refrigerator that needed to be higher for the new refrigerator. I had to cut the bottom off and then install a new bottom an inch higher. I also removed the stove hood vent to take home to sand and repaint to match the new stove. I was done work by 2:30 pm and was really tired. I took a hot shower and settled in the recliner along with Cheri in hers. We tried to watch some TV but we both napped more than watching. Art and Ruby brought us dinner at 5:30 pm. It was a Mexican meal along with apple crunch for dessert. Thank you Art and Ruby for doing that for us. We watched a few things we had recorded and called it a night. Thank you God for a blessed day.

Sure is good to have Cheri home. Having a little trouble keeping her from doing house work. She did do a couple loads of laundry before sitting down and taking it easy. Jean came over to visit with her. I finally got the truck unloaded from our trip to Wisconsin. I also had a 9:00 am appointment to check out some kitchen work here in our park. I also did another job of fixing some kitchen cabinet doors and putting safety treads on an entry ramp. This afternoon Cheri and I went to Publix’s for groceries, didn’t feel like going to Wal-Mart as really disappointed with so few clerk checkouts. We don’t like doing the self-checkouts. The rest of the afternoon and evening was watching TV and napping. We had leftovers for supper from the meal that Mike and Pam brought us along with a dish of ice cream while watching TV. Thank you God for guiding us through another day.

Cheri is home!!!!
The day started with me taking Grandma for her knee shot at 9:30 am. Once again the doctor didn’t come in until 11:10 am. After her shot I took her to Great Clips so she could have a haircut. By the time this was all done it was after 12:00 pm. So I went over to Jersey Mike’s to have a sub for lunch. Cheri had text me that she was coming home. It was after 1:00 pm when I got to the hospital. Cheri was ready to leave but still had to see some doctors before being discharged. We were ready to leave and the nurse took of the heart monitor, took out the IV, and the bandage from the groin when she felt a hard spot around the area. She had several other nurses took a look at it and they decided that she should have a scan to make sure everything was OK. Long story short everything was OK. They had called in to Wal-Mart for the meds the needed and was told that they would be ready for pick up. So on the way home we stopped to get them and two of the six meds they didn’t have and were the ones that she had to take this evening. The druggist came out and wanted to know what was going on and told him that she had to have the meds this evening. He said to give him some time and he would see what he could do. After a long wait he got everything ready for us. So it was 6:00 pm when we finally got home. Mike and Pam came over a little past 6:00 pm with dinner for us. Thank you Mike and Pam. It was after 7:00 pm when we got done with supper. We did watch a little TV before calling it a night. Thank you God for getting Cheri back to good health and home.

I headed out a little after 7:00 am for my accountability group Bible study and breakfast. There were nine of us this morning. We studied John 2:3. I made a stop at Lowe’s to pick up a couple of things for one of my clients. Then I was still at the hospital before 9:00 am. Cheri didn’t have a very good night and wasn’t able to have any breakfast because of the procedure they planned on doing today. She was going to have her heart checked for blood clots and if there weren’t any they would shock her heart to get it out of AFib. But they did find a small clot and couldn’t do the procedure. She will be treated with medication to dissolve the clot which will take several weeks and then will have the shock procedure done. Her white blood count is down but still have her on an antibiotics drip until this afternoon. Her heart rate and blood pressure are good. She has been walking up and down the halls and all is ok. If all is well during the night she should be coming home tomorrow. All of our friends have been a big help with food and prayers getting us through this time of need. Thank you God for all the help for Cheri and me.

I got to the hospital at 9:00 am. Cheri was having a problem with her heart rate. Just lying in bed her heart rate went up to 110. So she is on medication to bring it down. She got up to go the bathroom and then wash up and the nurse came in and told her that she had to sit down as her heart rate was up to 188. By afternoon the rate was down and was staying around 80. Her white blood count as also come down some. But are still giving her antibiotics. The plan now is tomorrow she will have her heart checked to see if there are any blood clots. If there isn’t any clots they will shock her heart to get it out of AFib. If all goes well she should be coming home on Wednesday. I stayed with her until 8:00 pm and was doing ok when I left. When I got home I watched a little TV before calling it a night. Thank you God for helping the doctors and nurses take care of Cheri and bring her back to good health.

We missed church and Sunday school today as I spent the time with Cheri. The plan was she would be coming home today. But when they did her blood work this morning they found that her white blood count was high which means she has some sort of infection. So they started her on antibiotics. She said that she was tired today and didn’t have the energy that she had yesterday. She didn’t eat much for breakfast so I got here some fresh fruit, toast with peanut butter, and a hot cup of coffee. One of Cheri’s friends from church came to see her after church. They came and took blood five different times today. I left for home at 6:00 pm. I fixed some leftover lasagna for supper and watched the rest of the Buccaneers football game that they lost. I also watched the NASCAR race I recorded. Sure is quite and lonely here without Cheri. Thank you God for taking care of Cheri. Please continue to pray for her and get her back home and healthy.

I slept in until 6:00 am this morning. Still trying to get caught up on my sleep. I was over to the hospital to see Cheri at 9:00 am. We spent the day together watching TV, napping, and having a visit with Mike & Pam and Ron & Sandy. Ron and Sandy brought me a meal from Culver’s and a shake for Cheri. I left the hospital around 6:30 pm and came home to an empty a quite house. Just not the same with Cheri not being here. Thank you God for a blessed day bringing Cheri back to good health. She should be able to come home tomorrow if they get her medication levels set. They had to double up on one of them today and seems to be doing ok with it. Thank you for all the prayers.

I headed to the hospital around 8:00 am. Cheri was feeling better. She wasn’t able to have anything to eat or drink as at noon she was to have the rest of the stress test. But around 10:00 am the doctors made a change. They canceled the stress test and set her up to have a heart cauterization procedure done. That was set up for 12:00 pm. It didn’t take long for that but she had to lay still for six hours without moving. Then on top of that she got another really bad headache. It was 9:00 pm before she was able to get up out of bed and still has the bad headache. The results of the test where pretty good. There weren’t any blockages but she does have a leaky heart valve. We will find out more of what is going to happen tomorrow and she might get to come home. Continue to pray to get her back to good health. Thank you God for guiding the doctors to help Cheri.

I went to the hospital to see Cheri at 7:00 am. She still has the bad headache but not as bad as last night. I left at 7:30 am as I had a 9:00 am doctor’s appointment in Tampa at the VA. It was just a follow up and everything is good. It was after 11:00 am when I got back to the hospital to see Cheri. The heart doctor was in to see her and she has to have a stress test and was supposed to have it today but couldn’t because of some medicine that she had for her headache. I is a nuclear stress test. Later they said that she could have resting part of the stress test done. Still having trouble with her blood pressure. The heart doctor told her the pressure in her lungs is higher than it should be and will have to see a lung doctor to find out why. She is still in AFib and can’t do anything about that until after the stress test. She is in good spirits and had a lot of friends come and see her today. I did get away to have a haircut which I really needed. I finally left Cheri around 7:30 pm. On the way home I stopped at Jersey Mikes for a sub which I brought home to eat while watching the Green Bay Packers play the Chicago Bears. I stayed up late and watched the whole game which the Packers won. We had a really hot day with the temp in the high 90’s and the heat index was between 107 and 111. Thank you God for being with us today helping Cheri with her health problems.

I took Grandma for her knee shot this morning and like always we have a 9:30 am appointment and the doctor doesn’t come in until 10:50 am. So it was well after 11:00 am when I got home. Cheri got up this morning and said that it felt like someone was setting on her chest. She has been short of breath the last few days. So I took her to the ER. Her blood pressure was very high and gave her a nitro pill along with a nitro patch to bring the blood pressure down. She also has fluid on her lungs and gave her injection to help her get rid of it. Her heart was in AFib and have to wait and see what the doctor has to say about that. They run all kinds of test and then admitted for the night. The nitro brought the blood pressure down but she got a really bad headache from the nitro and made her very sick. I left the hospital at 8:30 pm and still hadn’t seen the heart doctor. Please pray for Cheri to get back to good health. Thank you God for all of the help in getting care for Cheri.

I headed out at 7:15 am to have breakfast and bible study with my accountability group. It was good to get back to some bible study as I missed having it the last five weeks. Also good to see all the guys. There were eight of us this morning. From there I went to check on Larry and Denise’s house. Everything was ok except for a small piece of siding had come off and the same piece came off last year. When I got home Cheri was busy doing several loads of laundry. I lost my credit card and had to put a lock on it and ordered a new one plus setting up new accounts that we used it for on recurring bills using Cheri’s card. Then I went over to see Grandma to see how she was doing. Cheri fixed me soup for lunch and she had a couple pieces of toast with peanut butter. We need to go to get some groceries but didn’t have it in us to get out and get them today. The rest of our day was spent in our recliners. Cheri did fix lasagna for supper which she had in the freezer. We also had rain off and on all day. Thank you God for restful day.

We were up early and was waiting for breakfast to start at 6:00 am at the motel. We were on the road by 6:30 pm. It was another long day of travel. The traffic was light and moved along well. We went through three different rain storms in Florida but each one lasted only a few minutes. We got into Zephyrhills at 5:30 pm and stopped at Culver’s for supper and then the grocery store to pick up some milk and cereal for tomorrow morning. We drove just over 750 miles today. I just finished unloading the suitcases when I got a call from a party here in the park telling me that their patio door was stuck and could get it shut for the night and wanted me to come over and fix it. So I headed over it had come off the track, so it was an easy and quick fix. Cheri and I put a few things away before settling in for the evening. It is good to be back home. Thank you God for guiding us home and safe travels.

Sorry there wasn’t any blog for the first as we left Nikki’s Sunday morning at 7:40 am. It was just a long day of travel and got to Smyrna Tenn. Which is just south of Nashville. We got in there around 6:30 pm and had driven 700 miles. We were tired and didn’t want to go out for supper so we order in a Domino’s pizza. The internet service was an open network and didn’t want to use it.

Hard to believe we have been gone a month not sure where the time goes. We got started at 7:00 am with Nikki’s house doing all the finishing things that needed to be done. I had some electrical to finish, curtain rods to install, re install the door bell, and many more misalliance things. Cheri worked all day on the curtains as they all had to be shorten. There were fourteen of them. Nikki worked on getting things cleaned up and getting the furniture back in place. It took be a couple of hours to get all my tools out to the truck as they were in the house, basement, garage, and then getting them loaded in the truck. It was near 8:00 pm when we got done and still hadn’t had supper. Nikki fixed us chicken Alfredo for supper. After supper Cheri headed for a shower and when she got done I took my shower and went to bed. I was really tired from all the things that we wanted to get done today. Tomorrow we head for home in Florida. Thank you God for guiding us through this day.
