Cheri and I are both low
on energy today not wanting to do anything, not sure why just one of those
days. I had an electrical job this morning over in Tamp Bay Golf and Country
Club. I was back home by 11:00 am. Cheri was busy working in her sewing room
and finished her painting project and working on mattress covers for Wyatt’s
Pack and Play. After lunch we sat down to watch some TV and I wasn’t able stay
awake so I went to the bedroom for a long nap. I was woke up by the telephone.
Bob called to tell me I had a driveway to power wash. So I call the lady and
made arrangements to do it tomorrow. Bob had told me I could use his truck so
Cheri and I went to get it because the power washer will not fit in our car
unless I take it apart. After we were done with this it was back to the
Recliners to watch some TV. Once again I couldn’t stay awake and slept through
several programs. Cheri fixed us Broccoli Cheese soup for dinner. Then it was
back to the recliners for more TV. Yep I went back to sleep and Cheri woke me
up at 9:00 pm to go to bed. I said what about Dancing with the Stars and she
said that she could watch it tomorrow. I said that we are going to watch it now
as with all the sleep I would be able to stay awake. Well I ended up sleeping
through about half of it.

Our Sundays are pretty
much the same each week. Cheri was up earlier because she had to get the Sunday
school lunch ready. Grandma went to church with us. After Sunday school we
dropped Grandma off and then headed home to get the leftovers from Sunday
school in the refrigerator and change clothes. Then we headed out to Wal-Mart
to pick up Grandma’s groceries and medicine. I dropped Cheri off at Wal-Mart
and then headed over to Lowe’s to pick up a couple of things I need for the
project I am working on tomorrow. I got back to Wal-Mart in time to help Cheri
with groceries and I waited for the medicine. By the time we got everything
done and home it was after 2:00 pm. I settled in to watch the NASCAR race when
I got a text from Mike next door wanting to know if I wanted to fly my drone.
So we headed to the back yard to fly. Mike gave me some good pointers as I have
never flowing one before. Actually I did pretty well. I did crash one time but
no damage. Then it was back to the race and then the Green Bay Packer football
game with the Texas Cowboys. I knew it was going to be a hard fought game and
the Packers came away with a win with 11 seconds left in the game. Cheri even
got existed watching some of the game. Darren sent us some pictures and a video
of Wyatt with his new firetruck, he is a busy little boy.

No work today as we had a
few things to get caught up on. We left
the house at 9:30 am and went to Sam’s Club as Cheri wanted to get chicken
salad and croissants to make lunch for Sunday school tomorrow. We had to go to
Sam’s because she says that theirs are the best. Once again we bought other
things that we hadn’t planned on so our chicken salad and croissants cost us
$168. This seems to happen everything we go there. When we got home Cheri went
to the sewing room to continue working on the mattress covers and has them just
about done. I went for a haircut and then to Lowe’s to check out a few things
that might work to do the fan project next Friday. We are still have a problem
with the bedroom TV so I tried using a different cable and a different input,
now it is a wait and see what the results will be. Jerry and Cookie (Sunday
school friends) picked us up to go out for dinner at the Texas Road House in
Wesley Chapel. My steak was really good, Cheri’s not good, Jerry’s was good,
and cookie’s was overdone and had to have another one grilled for her. We were back home by 8:00 pm, just in time for
me to settle in and watch the Wisconsin Badgers play Nebraska. The Badgers came
away with a win but had to work for it. Cheri went to bed before the game was
over and it was after 11:00 pm before I got to bed.

I was on the road to Dade
City at 6:10 am to meet with my accountability group for breakfast and Bible
study. I got home a little after 8:00 am. Cheri left at 8:30 am for her hair cut
appointment. While she was gone I went over to Jean’s to remove a light bulb
base that was broken off in the light socket. Cheri was back by 9:30 am and I
headed to work. I had another really good day. I got cabinets hung in the
laundry room, two wire racks put up in the garage, and a shelf installed for
the golf cart charger. Then checked out an additional project that I may be
doing there. It was a little past 4:00 pm when I got home. I was tired but felt
good and felt even better after a long hot shower. Cheri worked all day on
making the mattress covers for Wyatt’s Pack & Play. Cheri also made us Clam
chowder for dinner along with some dessert that Jean next door made for us. I
got a call from Bob this evening and it looks like I have a couple more jobs to
do. I will call and check on them tomorrow. We called Kari (daughter) this
evening and wished her a happy birthday.

I told Cheri this morning
that I was excited about going back to work. I left the house at 8:00 am. I had
a good day and everything went well. I installed a new electrical outlet
outside the garage running wiring from the electrical panel and all had to be
in conduit, big job but went smoothly. Next I moved the sprinkling system
control box from the back of the house to the side of the garage where I
installed the new electrical outlet. I had to dig up the control cable and
bring it up into the control panel and rewire it. It was a little past 1:00 pm
when I got done with that project. Next I removed a wire shelf from the laundry
room above the washer and dryer. Tomorrow I will be hanging cabinets in the
laundry room. On the way home I stopped at Lowe’s to pick up a few things I am
going to need tomorrow. It was after 3:00 pm when I got home and was tired but
felt good about my days’ work. I was ready for a good hot shower and then the
recliner. Cheri had been busy doing her usual Thursday house work and was in
her recliner reading a book when I got home. She fixed us pork chops and dirty
rice for dinner. I didn’t watch very much TV before I was asleep, so we headed
off to bed at 8:00 pm. We watch some more TV in bed.
