So much for waxing on the 5th wheel today, it was 80 degrees by 9:00 am and very humid. I didn’t really feel much like doing any waxing today as all the bones in by body ache. I hung out a load of laundry for Cheri and she has gone for her morning exercise, she is really enjoying her time with the other ladies. I did a couple of honey dew jobs inside, and checked outside as it had clouded up with a nice breeze so I thought maybe I could do a little waxing. Well I was about ready to go out and it started to rain, so the laundry got an extra rinse. I really wasn’t in the mood to do much today any way so I got my book out and read. After Cheri got home she worked on her quilt project and has the top done and I can see that it will be a table cloth. I looked out this afternoon and it was getting darker and the wind was coming up so I headed out to check the laundry and as I was bringing it in it started to rain again. So as you can see it was a very lazy day for me. Norm and Marlene stopped by for a visit this evening.

I got around early this morning so I could get some more of the 5th wheel washed before it got too hot. I got the back done and is now is ready to be waxed, maybe tomorrow I can get that done. Cheri is some better today and drove herself to her exercise class. She got home a little after 11:00 am just as it started to rain. Boy did we ever get a hard rain, we needed the rain but it was so hard that most of it ran off. This afternoon Cheri wanted to go to the second hand store to look for a stand with selves to put between our recliners to store the books that we are reading, no luck in finding something today. I had bought a new GPS last year and used it a couple of time before we left for the summer and on the first day out it quit working. After several e-mails and calls I got an alteration to send it in for repair under warranty and final got it back in six weeks, it took longer because it had to catch up to us in Skagway Alaska. Well on Sunday when we were on our way to see our financial advisor it quit working again. I did some checking on the internet and found there is a place in Wesley chapel that repairs them. I used to have a Garmin but it was old and was before you could get free updates. So that was why I bought the new Rand McNally RV GPS. I should have paid the extra money and bought the Garmin RV GPS, so much for trying to save some money. Later this afternoon Cheri and I took a ride over to Wesley Chapel to see about getting it repaired, they gave me an estimate of 139 dollars to have it repaired. I told the guy I wasn’t going to have it repaired and he said that it’s a 400 dollar unit. I finally said ok and this is the last time I am going to have it repaired. Around 4:00 pm we had another hard rain, didn’t last long, now I won’t have to water the lawns for a couple of days.

I wasn’t in any hurry this morning as I was supposed to take Grandma for a doctor’s appointment this forenoon; well we got a call from the doctor’s office that it was canceled because the doctor was sick. I took Cheri down to the pool for her exercises and then went up to Grandma’s to tell her that her appointment was canceled. She is having an ant problem right now and said that she has put out poison and that is taking care of them. I stared the water sprinklers on Bud’s and our lawn before going back to pick up Cheri. This afternoon Cheri worked on her quilt project and I brought the motorcycle saddle bags in the 5th wheel to clean them. When that was done it was time to take Cheri for her doctor’s appointment. The doctor had put her on a one a day aspirin to keep her from getting any blood clots in her leg. Well her blood was too thin and she has bleed in her leg and that is the reason for the setback. The doctor said some people react different to aspirin and Cheri is one of them. So he told her to take one baby aspirin a day. He said that she should be all better in four to six weeks (that is not what Cheri wanted to hear). Then we stopped at one of Grandma’s doctors to cancel an appointment that she has next week as she has enough medicine to last an additional month. Then over to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things we needed. This evening we went down to Ed and Loraine’s to visit and wish them a safe trip back to Maine for the summer, they are leaving at 5:00 am tomorrow. On the way home we stopped by Norm and Marlene’s for a visit and was home by 8:45 pm.

I was up early as Cheri and I had a hard time sleeping; it is hard to sleep when it’s not your own bed. The plan for the day was to go out on the boat with Brian and Linda for a beach party on an island out in the gulf. We checked the weather and there were going to be some waves. So we canceled the boat ride with them as we thought it would be to rough of a ride in the boat for Cheri’s knee as she is still having a lot of pain. So we were on our way home at 9:30 am. We made one stop so Cheri could walk and stretch her leg. We got home at 11:30 am and stopped by Grandma’s and told her we would pick her up and take her to the pot luck lunch here in the park at 1:00 pm. There were around 50 people, I was surprised to see so many. We played a game of truth or lie, heard some interesting stories and was hard to figure out if they were telling the truth or not. Later this afternoon Cheri put two coats of sealer on her barn quilt, so that will be ready to put up tomorrow. I watched most of the NACAR race that I had recorded. I missed the last 70 laps as there had been so many wrecks that the DVR shut off before it was over. I had added an extra half hour and I should have added a couple of hours. This evening we went out visiting with friends here in the park.

Grandma went to church with her friends that live in the park as Cheri and I were going to head to Cape Coral after church and lunch. We eat lunch with Ron and Sandy at Sonny’s. It has been years since we had been there and it was very good. At 12:30 pm we were on our way to Cape Coral to spend the day and evening with our financial advisor Brain and Linda Rezny. Brian has been our financial advisor for the last 12 years and has done a great job for us. We usually get together once each year and this time they were having a few people over for a barbeque. They had a guy come in and do ribs and chicken on his smoker grill. He started the ribs around 2:00 pm and weren’t ready until around 7:00 pm. Boy what a meal and I did eat my share and probably somebody else’s. We had a wonderful time visiting with everyone and they all looked at out Alaska trip pictures and want to know more about it. It was wonderful day to spend with old and new friends. Around 10:30 pm it was time to call it a night. If you are in need of a financial advisor check out www.reznywealth.com it was the best move we made, never have to worry about our investments anymore.
