After yesterday Cheri and I were pretty lazy this morning, me more
than Cheri. Cheri did laundry and headed for the sewing room to work on her new
sewing project, a table runner for Easter. I did some computer work and copied
a couple of music CD’s for Pam and Mike. Than listened to Ann Murray’s CD (What
a Wonderful World), love to hear her sing gospel music. At 2:30 pm Mike and Pam
picked us up to go to the Strawberry Festival. Being it was cold we went later
only to see the Shoji Tabuchi show which we had bought tickets for back in January.
The show was very good but was only an hour long. I thought it should have been
at least an hour and a half. We have tickets for the Kellie Pickler show next
week, hopefully the weather will be better and we can look around at everything
they have at the Strawberry Festival. After we left we looked for a place to
eat and ended up at Carrabba’s Italian Grill. Cheri and I had never been to
Carrabba’s before, Mike and Pam told us that there are a lot of them; we live
such a sheltered life. We were back home by around 6:30 pm. Cheri was cold so
she got a blanket and curled up in her recliner. We watched a little TV and
called it a night.

We were up early this morning and left for Orlando at 7:00 am.
Bruce and Jeannie are staying in a time share condo and we made plans to go and
do the Holy Land Experience with them. Cheri and I had been there a few years
ago and they were in the process of building a new theater. Well the theater is
done and what a beautiful building. All their show productions use to be
outside, now everything is done in the new theater and don’t have to worry
about rain. And that was the case today as it rained off and on all day while
we were there. They open at 10:00 am and we were there for the opening and didn’t
leave until 6:00 pm which is the time they close and still didn’t get to see
everything. If you are ever in Orlando it is a must thing to do. For more information
go to their web site at www.holylandexperience.com
From there we went to Mimi’s CafĂ© for supper which was close by the Holy Land Experience
which was a good thing because when we crossed over I-4 the traffic was bumper
to bumper going in both directions. Our food was very good but had to wait as
they were short on waiters and waitress. By the time we got done eating and on
the road the traffic was moving along with no waiting. We dropped Bruce and
Jeannie off at their time share and said our good byes and headed for home. It
rained all the way and got home around 9:30 pm. We were really tired and headed
to bed. It was a wonderful day that God made and got to experience some of the amazing
things he has done.

I left the house at 7:20 am in order to be at Tire Kingdom at 7:30
am to have the front end alignment on the van. Mike L volunteered to pick Cheri
up at 8:20 am and drop her off at the pool for her pool exercise. An hour later
and the van was done, I thought it would take at least two hours to get it
done. I sure was surprised when they came and told me it was done. On the way
home I stopped and filled up with gas and left the van at the pool for Cheri
and then walked home. When Cheri got home she disappeared in the sewing room
again. I went to the shed to install the skill saw on my new True Trac system. Just
as I was about done Cheri came out to show me her latest sewing project, what a
beautiful tote bag. I finished with the True Trac just before noon. After lunch
I cleaned up the mess I made setting up the True Trac system. Then it was time
for me to go and get Grandma for her 1:30 pm doctor’s appointment. Then a
miracle happened, we got to see the doctor on time. Grandma got a good report
from the doctor. Then we stopped at the bank for her and then back to her place
to put the next appointments on the calendar. When I got home Cheri was busy on
a new sewing project. I went outside and put a coat of sealer on the barn
quilt. Soon it was time to met Mike and Pam for supper at Panera Bread. After
supper they came back to our place to play Hand, Knee, and Foot. Mike and I
were the big winners. We also played one game of SOB that I won.

Cheri did her pool exercise class this morning and I did some
computer work. After Cheri got home she disappeared in to the sewing room, she
is working on another quilt and sewing project. I headed out to Auto Zone to
pick up the new struts; they were waiting for me just as they promised they
would be. I got home at 11:00 am and started on putting them in. I had one done
by 12:30 pm and took a break for lunch. The second one went in a little easier.
After I got done I told Cheri I was going to go to Tire Kingdom to see about
getting it lined up again. I got an appointment tomorrow for 2:15 pm and when I
got home I see Grandma has a doctor’s appointment at 1:30 pm. So I called Tire
Kingdom to see about getting my appointment changed, they said to come in at
7:30 am and I could be the first one to be done. I was done for the day and
took a shower and sat down in the recliner to watch some TV, but napped
instead. Cheri reappeared from the sewing room around 5:00 pm to fix supper.
This evening we picked up Mike and Mary and when over to Baker Acers to visit
with Norm and Marlene one more time before they leave tomorrow. We got home
around 8:30 pm and tried to watch some TV without success, so we went to bed.

I think spring has sprung in Florida; it was in the 80’s today. We
picked up Grandma and headed for church. After church we along with some of our
Life Group fiends went out for lunch at the Hibachi Grill in Wesley Chapel. Church
had gotten out early so when we got there it didn’t open until 11:30 am. So the
ladies went shopping for a half hour over at Beall’s and Mike G and I walked
over to a Minnie Copper car show. It was very interesting and saw some that I
never knew they made. Then we headed back to the Hibachi Grill to wait for Pam,
Sandy, and Cheri to return from their little shopping trip. We had a great meal
and will be going back again. After lunch we drove by Ron and Sandy’s to see
how the new garage was coming. The rafters are up and side walls are sheeted.
After we dropped Grandma off we went to Auto Zone to see about getting the new
struts for the van. They wanted a lot more for them then they did at Pep Boy’s.
Long story short they ordered them for me and met Pep Boy’s price. They are
supposed to be in by 10:30 tomorrow. When we got home I settled in to watch the
Daytona Five Hundred. Cheri played some games on her I-Pad and took a nap. I was
just getting into the race when there was a rain delay. So we watched other shows
that we had recorded. The race didn’t get started again until 8:30 pm. Cheri
gave up around 10:30 pm and headed for bed. I managed to watch the race until
the end and got to bed around midnight.
