After I got back from my
walk this morning I asked Cheri if she want to go out for breakfast at Sunrise restaurant
and she said yes. So at 8:15 am we were on our way to the restaurant. After
breakfast we stopped by Larry and Denise house to check on it. Then I dropped
Cheri off at Hobby Lobby and I went for a haircut and then over to Grandma’s
because she was only getting about half of her TV channels. I called Bight
House and once again they reset her cable box and now has all the channels.
Cheri called and said that she had walked down to Beall’s so I picked her up
and we headed to Sam’s Club over in Wesley Chapel to get some air filters for
the furnace and barbeque ribs, no luck on the ribs. Our last stop was Wal-Mart
in Westley Chapel as it is much larger than the one here in Zephyrhills and has
more things. It was 3:00 pm when we got home. Cheri worked on church paper work
and I did some internet searching for the books I need to study for the drone
piolet certificate. I found some of the books and ordered them. Cheri fixed us
chip beef gravy over eggs on toast for supper. Then an evening of TV. This
evening we got an e-mail from Grandma and she said that all of TV channels are
gone. So tomorrow I will call Bright house again.

There wasn’t any time for
my morning walk or my accountability group as we were picking up Mike and Pam
at 8:00 am. Mike had an appointment at the Tampa hospital for a procedure and
had to be there at 9:00 am. Because Mike has a heart problem they weren’t sure
if he was going to have the procedure done. So there was a long meeting of the
doctors and finally decided to do it and use something different to put Mike
under that wouldn’t hurt his heart. So he was late getting the procedure done.
He was also slow coming out from the drug they used to put him under. Long
story short we finally was able to leave the hospital around 5:00 pm. Mike had
had anything to eat for a couple of days plus the rest of us for ready for
something to eat so we stopped at Olive Garden for soup and salad which was very
good. It was a long and stressful day for Mike and Pam, good that they are home
and able to rest and put the day behind them. Thank you God for helping all of
us through the day. I have posted the pictures of the tree trimming from
yesterday.

I had another good walk
this morning but seem to be more of an effort to get it done today. Cheri was
busy with laundry and house work before she disappeared in her sewing room. I
took Grandma for her lab appointment and then to the bank. I after I dropped
her off I headed over to Lowe’s to return a couple of LED light bulbs. After a
couple of days one of them started to smoke so need to return it for a
replacement. Then it was back to Grandma’s to see if I could find out what was
wrong with her TV. It was always working OK when I was there. I had another
small TV that I was setting up to find out if it was the TV or cable when the
problem started and now know it is a cable problem and not the TV. So when I got
home I called the cable company and they did a reset on her cable box. Now we
have to wait to see if that fixed the problem. It was noon when I got home and
the tree guys were here getting ready to trim our tree. I enjoyed watching them
work this afternoon and was fascinated how they got the ropes up into the tree
to tie off the limbs before they cut them so they wouldn’t hit the house. It was
near 6:30 pm when they left. They still have to come back tomorrow to haul away
all the wood. I did take some pictures and will post them tomorrow.

It was a little cooler
walking this morning and needed a long sleeved shirt. So far I have walked
every morning and feel better after the walk. Cheri spent the day in her sewing
room, still making Microwave Bowl Cozy’s. I
worked outside all day sorting through
all of my lumber and making a pile of odds and ends that Ron is going to haul
over to his place to put on his burn pile. It turned out to be an all day job
and didn’t get done until around 4:00 pm. I also took the car downtown through
the car wash. The tree guy stopped by this evening to let me know he will be
here tomorrow to do the tree trimming, something that should have been done
last year. I was really dirty from the outside work and felt much better after a
nice hot shower. Then it was time to join Cheri in the recliner to rest before
supper. We both had trouble staying awake to watch our TV shows we had recorded
so we headed to bed early to watch some more TV in bed.

Cheri was very busy today
and I was busy but not as much as Cheri. Cheri started the day getting her
Tuesday house work done. Then we made a trip to the grocery store to pick up a
few things she needed to make a meatball casserole for supper (a new recipe).
We have invited Mike & Pam and Ron & Sandy over for supper. So she was
busy this afternoon baking and getting things ready for supper. I worked
outside and got the shop cleaned up and also repaired screens on the neighbor’s
windows. I did some more internet searching on what materials I need to get my
pilot certificate to fly a drone legally. I did find out that the test is 60
questions of multiple answers and have two hours to complete it. I got a sample
of ten question on line and wasn’t able to answer any of them. So I have a lot
of study work ahead of me. I want to make sure I am well informed as the test
cost 160 dollars to take. I found a course on line that cost 200 dollars that
will teach me everything I need to know to pass the test. I am not sure this
old brain of mine is up to the task. Our friends arrived at 5:30 pm and had
good visit before supper. The meatball casserole was really good and everybody
liked it. We sat around the table after supper visiting, my favorite place to
sit and visit. We are so blessed to have wonderful friends, thank you God. We received
a video from Darren this evening showing Wyatt climbing the stairs to the loft
as he just turned 10 month old today. Darren will have to put up a gate at the
bottom of the stairs. He is a very active boy.
