No morning walk again this
morning. I am still feeling low on the energy level. Cheri is also still very
tired. I did removed the 32 in TV from our bedroom and installed the 42 in that
Darren and Brooke gave us. It turned out to be a bigger job than I thought it
was going to be. I could never have done it without Cheri’s help. It probably
wasn’t the best thing to be doing today has my back was hurting. The plan for
TV I took down is putting it on the wall in the spare bedroom. But I need to
wait for cooler weather as I need to run the TV cable and install an electric
outlet up on the wall. This afternoon I had to take Grandma for her doctor’s
appointment. I also had to stop at the bank for her. On the way home I stopped
and checked Larry and Denise’s house and everything was good there. It was near
3:00 pm when I arrived home and no energy to do anything else. I joined Cheri
in the recliner and watched some TV. I did doze some and Cheri had a good nap.
I wasn’t feeling all the good today so we had soup for supper. I was going to
have some ice cream later and when I went to get some I found we had eaten all
of it before we went to Darren and Brooke’s. So I settled for a beef stick
which was probably better for me anyway.

I wanted to be at the
barber shop at 9:00 am so I was in the shower before Cheri which hardly ever
happens. After I got back from getting my haircut I reattached the broken leg
on the jewelry box and got it put in the bedroom for Cheri. Then it was time
for us to head to Brooksville for Cheri’s eye appointment. It is better than
last time we were there but still not what is should be. She still has to do
drops every day and has to go back in 6 weeks. On the way to the doctor’s
office we got a call from Pam wanting to go out for dinner at Bone Fish and
stop at Dillard’s to shop. So we met Mike and Pam at Walgreens at 3:15 pm and
rode with them. Cheri and Pam shopped while Mike and I found a place to sit and
visit. Then we met Ron and Sandy at Bone Fish. We had a good meal and a good
visit. After we left there we went back to Dillard’s because Cheri found a
traveling suitcase she wanted. It was after 8:00 pm when we got home and
decided to just go to bed and watch TV there as we were both really tired. I
haven’t done my morning walk since we have gotten back, just no energy to get
it done.

I didn’t get up until 7:00
am and Cheri not until 9:00 am. We both are really tired and said that we
weren’t doing anything today. But Cheri went right to work doing laundry,
unpacking bags, and putting everything away along with fixing meals and grocery
shopping. A lot for a person that said she wasn’t doing anything today. I on
the other hand did very little. I did get the new GPS updated with the latest
maps for the trip to Mexico. I also glued the broken leg on the jewelry box
that Brooke gave Cheri. I planned on getting a haircut while Cheri was getting
the groceries but the guy that cuts my hair wasn’t in. Cheri had called to see
if he was going to be in and was told he was. So I was surprised that he wasn’t
here. Someone had looked that the schedule wrong and wasn’t even scheduled to
work. It was really hot today with a temp in the high 90’s and high humidity.
Later this afternoon Cheri and I tried to watch some TV but did more napping
than watching. We are looking forward to having more energy tomorrow.

I got up at 4:15 am just
as Cos, Nikki, and Cece were heading out the door to leave. They already had
the truck all loaded. After they left I went back to bed until 6:30 am. It was
a busy day for Darren and Brooke. Cheri was busy washing down cabinets and
rounding up all the bedding and many other things that needed to be done.
Darren and I broke done the bed and moved it to the garage along with the rest
of the bedroom set. Loaded up the 4 runner with some things that was left to go
to Chris and Sheryl’s. We also took down the TV and moved another dresser to
the garage. Brooke brought us breakfast sandwiches as there was nothing in the
house to eat. She also made another trip to Good Will. By 11:30 am there wasn’t
anything left for Cheri and me to do so I finished loading the car and were on
the road by 11:50 am. Things went well until we got south of Ocala and was in a
3 mile back from and accident. While moving slowly we see an accident in the
north bound lane. Five miles down the road there was another accident in the
north bound lane with a semi blocking all lanes and a long line of cars at a standstill.
We could see that it would be a couple more hours to clean that up and get the
traffic moving again. Thank God that we weren’t in anything like that. We
arrived home around 7:15 pm. We got the car unloaded and then we headed to the
recliners. I tried to watch the NASCAR race that I had recorded Sunday but by
9:30 pm we decided to call it a day.

It was a very busy day
here at Darren and Brooke’s. First Darren and Cos went and got us some
breakfast sandwiches as there wasn’t anything left to eat in the house. It was
time to pack up everything that was left in the house. We filled up Cos and
Nikki’s truck and made a trip to where Darren works to deposit a bunch of stuff
in the dumpster. Then it was on to the Good Will store to drop off a bunch of
things that they no longer needed. Then we loaded up Cos and Nikki’s truck
along with Darren’s 4 runner and Chris’s Tahoe with things that they are going
to keep and things that Darren and I will be taking to Mexico over to Chris and
Sheryl’s place to store until we leave for Mexico. When we got back we loaded
and strapped down the green egg grill in Cos and Nikki’s truck along with
getting everything else ready to load in the morning as they plan on leaving at
4:00 am to head for home in Wisconsin. We also got things ready for our car to
load up in the morning. By 5:00 pm we were mostly done and then went over to
Chris and Sheryl’s for dinner and to celebrate Wyatt’s birthday. It was fun
watching him open presents and with the birthday cake. Then it was time for
Grandma Cheri to say goodbye to Wyatt as this is the last time she will be him
because Brooke and Wyatt will be staying at Chris and Sheryl’s where his crib
is now. It was a little after 8:00 pm when we got back to Darren and Brooke’s.
We visited for a while before showers and then called it a night.
