Gay Feb-3-08

This wasn’t a good day. It started with a call from Grandma saying she was having a problem with Grandpa. When we got there we see he had a lot of blood in his stool. Cheri called for an ambulance. When they got there they started an IV and called for more help to get him out of the trailer. At the hospital Cheri sat with him while Grandma and I stayed in the waiting room as they only let one person be with him and Cheri had all of his medical history. It makes it hard for Grandma because she death. They gave him one unit of blood and call in people to give him a nuclear x-ray to see where the blood was coming from. Then they put him in ICU and started another unit of blood. We left the hospital about 10:00 pm. We got a call around 11:00 pm telling us they had the results from the nuclear test and showed the bleeding was coming from his stomach and was going to go down through his nose and try to cauterize it. It was a long night.
