Gay June-24-08

Today was our wedding anniversary, 41 years. So Cheri and I planed to go out for a late lunch and early supper. There aren’t very many nice places around here. The fist place we went to was closed and the second only served sandwiches. So we drove to New Hazelton and looked there and found the New Hazelton café. It wasn’t very fancy, but the food was pretty good. We stopped at the grocery store to pick up a few things and got a real shock when we looked at the prices. 150 to 200 percent more the other grocery stores we have been in. I guess when you are far way from a large city you have to pay the price. I worked this afternoon on more waxing of the 5th wheel; hope to get that job done tomorrow. About seven more units came in today for the Alaskan trip. We spent quite a bit of time talking and getting to know the people we will be traveling with.
