Gay July-6-10

We were able to get our walk in this morning without getting wet. At 9:30 am I left to take Coz’s bike over to the dealer to have the new gas gage checked as it didn’t work after they installed it. I waited for the bike and looked around the store while I was waiting; I ended up buying a new t-shirt and some heat deflectors to help keep the heat off of Cheri’s legs when we ride. So when I got home I worked on putting on the heat deflectors, what job it turned out to be. If I had known how much work it was going to be to put them on I probably wouldn’t have bought them. I dropped an allen wrench and it fell into a spot that took me 45 minutes to get it out. Cheri spent the day doing laundry, Cleaning and reading. After I got done with the bike I asked Cheri if she wanted to go for a ride to Fox Valley LP and Fleet Farm. Of course she never passes up a chance to go shopping. I got gas hose and fittings I needed to hook up gas from the 5th wheel LP tanks to the grill. After I get it hooked up we won’t have to use the throw away canisters. At Fleet Farm I need to get a set of allen wrenches so I could tighten up one of the heat deflectors on the bike. Cheri bought a pair of jogging pants. When we got home I tried to tighten the heat deflector and now I need to cut the wrench shorter as it is too long to get into the tight spot where the screw is. I am done for the day the rest can wait for another day. That’s the nice thing about being retired as you can put things off and do them on another day.
