We did a morning walk which we haven’t done in a long time. We really need to get back in the habit of walking. Actually my foot survived the walk, although we didn’t do a very long walk. We did stop at a garage sale on the way and checked out another one that wasn’t open. When we got back to the 5th wheel we got ready to go for a motorcycle ride. Our first stop was to take a picture of a tree that has changed color for fall. It is still early for trees to change color but it is a warning for us that it is time to head south (9 more days and we start south). Then we headed out to Theresa to get some fresh cheese curds. I know that some of you people don’t know what cheese curds are. Curds are the cheese just before it goes into the container and then put under presser to get all the whey out of it. Well when we got to the cheese factory the curds weren’t ready. So we took a walk around the park and took some pictures and then walked down town, short main street only 2 blocks long. We stopped in a candy store that also served sandwiches. We ordered a flat bread Tucson which was very good and also a bowl of clam chowder that was not good at all. Then we walked back to the cheese factory and got our curd along with some cheese spread and smoked cheese. Then we took the back roads over to Plymouth to a quilt store that I hadn’t told Cheri about. So she was surprised when we stopped at it. She did find some things to buy which I also approved of. Then it was time to head for home. It was enjoyable 85 mile motorcycle ride. This is the one I had planned on doing yesterday. Nikki picked us up at 5:30 pm to go to Pipe and have half price pizza at Capones Bar and Grill. We were there last Wednesday also. Like I have said before they have the best pizza around and when you can get it for half price you can’t pass it up. I also saw another sign of fall on our way to Capones, two large flocks of Canadian geese. It is pretty early to be seeing them here; usually we don’t see them until them until the end of September, another reason to start south. I have uploaded pictures of the day that Cheri and I took.
