We are a sorry bunch here, Cheri with her bad knee, not able to do much walking and for the last week I have been having trouble with my elbow. It has swell up and has fluid around it and has turned black and blue. I don’t remember hurting it, have no pain in it but is sore. I think it is from lifting weights at my morning workout as I had just started lifting some additional weights. Long story short I have decided to stop the weight lifting until it is better. I had cancelled our Wednesday motorcycle ride with the guys because there was a chance for rain and was going to be very windy and high temp up 64 degrees. So what did we do? Larry & Denise and Cheri and I did go for a ride on the motorcycles. It was 58 degrees when we left at 10:00 am. The rain was over really early this morning. But the wind was terrible, It was out of the North West and wasn’t a very enjoyable ride. We rode over to Dunedin so Cheri and Denise could shop at the largest quilt store (Rainbow’s End) in Florida. We were there once before back in January but it was closed. It was 57 miles and we were cold when we got there. Larry and I went to a restaurant down the street and had coffee while the girls shopped. Then we headed farther south to St Pete to a shop (Stitch on Time) that rebuilds motorcycle seats. On the way we stopped at Olive Garden for soup and salad which hit the spot on a cold windy day. Larry wanted to pick up some studs to install on the tour pack that is on Denise’s motorcycle. Well before we got out of there Larry is going to have his seat rebuilt and re covered and I think we will have our seat rebuilt. We have to bring the seats in after Bike Week in Daytona as he is real busy right now. It was 5:00 pm when we left his shop and didn’t want to get caught up in all the rush hour traffic so we headed south over the Sun-Shine bridge and then headed north to Zephyrhills by roads without a lot of traffic. It was 7:00 pm and dark when we got home. Cheri was froze and headed for a hot shower to get warmed up. The temp was down to 54 degrees when we got home. So it was a cold windy 160 mile ride but was still a good time to spend with friends.
