Cheri got a call from the doctor’s office today and they had a cancelation so she will be able to see the doctor on Tuesday afternoon.  I took her down for the pool exercise this morning and picked her up an hour later. It was just too hot to do much of anything today although I did water and mow Bud and Joyce’s lawn, repaired Cheri’s sewing lamp, did a load of laundry and hung it out on the line. Cheri got her paints out and touched up her lawn art flowers (glass plates glued to wine bottles with painted flowers on them). The paint was starting to come off, so she touched them up and look good again. The rest of the day was spent reading and watching TV. I did get a call from Bud (my winter riding buddy) this evening. He has done more motorcycle riding up in New York than I have here. He told me that he bought a new toy, a rag top jeep. He said that he wanted to get out on the old logging trails and dirt roads, sounds like fun.
