It was a little warmer this morning, 42 degrees and very foggy. The fog was gone by 10:00 am and the temp was heading to the mid 70’s which was good as Bud had a motorcycle ride leaving at 10:00 am from Baker Acers. When I got there for the ride Bud asked me to lead the ride. There were only four of us on the ride and I like that as four bikes is just right for a ride, don’t have to worry so much when riding where there are stop and go lights. With fewer bikes we can usually can get there all of the stop and go lights. Our destination for the ride was the Harley dealer in New Port Richie and a stop for lunch at Wendy’s; I can still get my lunch there for $1.06, great deal for a chicken sandwich and a senior drink. Our ride was 130 miles and Larry and I got back to our place at the same time as Cheri and Denise. They also had left this morning at 10:00 am to go shopping plus Cheri had a massage appointment in Wesley Chapel so that is where they did their shopping. We played a game of Hand, Knee, and Foot with Larry and Denise that Cheri and Denise won, at least it was a close game this time. This morning Cheri had started a roast with carrots and potatoes in the crock pot to have for supper. So after the card game we took a break to have supper sure was good. After we eat and the girls were cleaning up the dishes so I check my e-mail and I had an e-mail from Ridgid, I had registered my new drill and impact driver last week on line and now they said I needed to send in the upc code from the box. Well Cheri had taken it along with other boxes and news papers to the dumpster this morning. So at 7:00 pm the four of us took the flashlight and went dumpster diving looking for the box that the drill and impact driver came in. After a lot of digging there all the boxes and news papers we finally found the box. Dumpster diving was never on my bucket list as something I needed to do. We all had a good laugh about the experience. Then it was back home to play a couple of games of Pinochle, Larry and I managed to win one game. It was a great day in the neighborhood that God made for us.
