Gay Jan-10-16

Grandma didn’t go to
church with us today as there was a guest speaker and there wouldn’t be any
message notes for her. The speaker was David Burton. Cheri and I thought his
revival preaching is the best we have ever heard. We were at the first service
and stayed for the second service because he had a different message. After
church we stopped to see Mel and Jan to see how Mel was doing. They were
planning on going to church today but Mel was in a lot of pain and wasn’t able
to go. Our visit was short as we had to pick up Larry and Denise at 1:45 pm to
go to Lakeland. There was a two hour sale going on at one of the fabric shops
and they needed to check it out. Larry and I sat in the car and waited. It wasn’t
long and they came out and said that it was so busy that it was hard to look at
anything and there was a long line at the cutting table. Our next stop was at
Home Décor and More to pick up some more grout additive which I needed to do
more grouting in the kitchen. Then we dropped Cheri and Denise off at Jo-Ann
Fabrics and Larry and I went to Harbor Freight. Larry got an air hose reel and
I got a solar LED light with a motion detector to put up outside the front door.
On the way back to Larry and Denise’s we stopped at Pizza Hut for supper and
then to Larry and Denis’s to play a game of Hand, Knee, and Foot. Once again
Cheri and Denise won, it was a really lop sided game. 2016 isn’t looking very
good for Larry and I when it comes to playing cards.
