Gay April-24-16

Grandma’s knee was hurting
her a lot and when she found out that Pastor Randy was out of town and there
wouldn’t be any message notes for her she decided to stay home. Pastor Carl
delivered the message today it was the best message that he has delivered. It was
from the book of James 3:13-18. Everyone should have someone in their life that
is full of Godly wisdom to help them understand the words of God and someone to
go to when you need help. Cheri and I are blessed to have good friends to help
us. Charlie also had an excellent Sunday school class today. After Sunday school
we went to see Mel and found that he isn’t doing very well. Today is his eighty
birthday. When we left we told Jan that we would be back around 4:00 pm because
several people would be coming to see him. When we got home Cheri went to the
sewing room to work on her latest quilt project. I settled in to watch the
NASCAR race. Cheri got a text from Jan letting us know that Mel was being moved
to Hospice Care here in Zephyrhills between 4:00 and 5:00 pm. So at 5:00 pm we
went to see him and Jan. It is so sad because we know it is just a short time
before he leaves us. But the good news is he will be going home to be with God.
It was near 7:00 pm when we got home. Cheri fixed us pizza for supper which is
our standard meal for Sunday evening.
