Cheri and I both had a good day
and enjoyed working on our projects. Cheri started the day doing laundry and
then to her sewing room. She made three Microwave Bowl Cozy’s. They are used to
set bowls in and then put them in the microwave work like a pot holder. Cheri
also made stuffed pork chops for supper. I worked outside on the rocking
motorcycle and got some of the parts painted and the front end of the motorcycle
mocked up. It was 4:00 pm when I finally was done for the day. I needed a shower
from all the sawdust I generated form sawing and sanding. The pork chops Cheri
made were really good. The evening was spent watching TV along with a bowl of
ice cream. Thank you God for blessing us with a wonderful day.

I asked Cheri what she was
going to do today after she got her Wednesday house work done. She said that
she didn’t know what she was going to do. She did spend a lot of time in her
sewing room, probably cleaning up and planning her next project. I do know she
was checking out about painting on carpet. I worked outside on the rocking
motorcycle also made a trip to Lowe’s to get paint. I did more sanding and also
did some painting on the main body of the motorcycle. The rest of the day was
spent on building the front forks. It was near 3:30 pm when I was at a stopping
point. We had an early supper as we were invited to Mike and Pam’s at 5:30 pm
so we could see Jenny and Mason before they had to leave. It was good to see
them as it has been a year since the last seen them. We played one game of SOB
and I don’t remember who won, I do know it wasn’t me. After Jenny and Mason
left we played a game of Hand, Knee, and foot that Mike and I won. It was a
nice evening to spend with friends.

After Cheri got her Tuesday
house work done she went over to Beall’s to see about some new sandals. She
always has trouble finding sandals to fit her as her feet are narrow. Well she
found some that would fit but they were the wrong color but they were able to
order the color she wanted and have them sent right to the house. When she got
home she went to the sewing room to work on her quilt project. I went outside
and worked on the rocking motorcycle. It has been a few weeks since I last
worked on it. For the most part things went along smoothly and I have started
the assembly. I tried to do some of the painting before assembly and that didn’t
work out so well. So I will have to paint everything with a paint brush instead
of spraying it. I was at a stopping point around 3:00 pm and decided I had done
enough for the day. Cheri said that she competed her quilt project. Cheri made
a cherry strudel for dessert which was very good and I think I liked it better
than cherry pie which is my favorite. We had a good day working on our
projects. The evening was spent watching TV which included another of Cheri’s
favorite shows Fixer Upper.

Cheri and I had dentist
appointments this morning. It is nice that we both can get in at the same time.
That way there is much of a wait for each other. When we got home Cheri went to
her sewing room and I went out to do more cleaning in my shop. I also set up the
Drill Doctor (drill bit sharpener) that I bought at the yard sale a couple of
weeks ago. It took me a while to figure out how to use it and thought I was
doing it right but found out that I wasn’t. I had a DVD that came with it so I went
in the house and watched it and found out what I was doing wrong. So it was
back to the shop and I did sharpen a couple of drill bits and it worked well.
Now I need to take time to sharpen more as I many that need sharpening. Later
this afternoon I went and got my hair cut, something I should have done a week
ago. When I got home I told Cheri I was done for the day and she said that she
was done also as her eyes were tired from sewing. Let’s see it is Monday night
and I think you know what we were watching. Yep it was Dancing with the Stars
and Judge Cheri was right about who was going to be voted off.

Grandma didn’t feel like going
to church this morning. Pastor Randy’s message was about putting on the Armor
of God and how it will protect us. Sunday school was about how Jesus taught his
disciples. After Sunday school we stopped at Wal-Mart to pick up groceries and
few other things that Grandma needed. It was near 1:30 pm when we finally got
everything done and back home. Cheri fixed us a brat for a late lunch. Then we
settled in and watched a couple of movies we had recorded and then it was time
for me to watch the NASCAR race I was recording. Cheri baked pizza in her new
oven using the pre-set setting that is on the oven and the pizza came out
perfect. We watched some more TV and called it a night.

Cheri was busy in her sewing
room this morning. I worked outside cleaning the rain gutters from all the
leaves. I got 2 ½ bags of leaves from one side of the house. I also did some
raking to fill the rest of the third bag. Then it was time to do some clean up
in the shop as it is in a mess again. After lunch Cheri and I headed to Plant
City for a stop at the quilt shop. Cheri needed some additional material for a
project that she is working on. Then we went on to Lakeland as Cheri wanted to
shop at Stein Mart. Our next stop was Big Lots and Beall’s Outlet. Then it was
time to meet Larry and Denise along with some of their friends at Ling’s for Chinese.
There were nine of us to celebrate Denise’s birthday. We were invited over to
Larry and Denise’s afterwards but we headed for home as I had a headache that
was getting worse. It was 7:00 pm when we arrived home. We watched a little TV
and called it a night.

I left the house at 6:15 am to
have breakfast and Bible study with our accountability group in Dade City. I
was back home by 8:30 am and Cheri had already done a load of laundry and was
having breakfast and coffee. Cheri finished her laundry and Friday housework. I
headed out and worked on the install of the security camera. I had to install a
run of electric for the camera which is what took so long and also added
another electric outlet in the carport. It was 3:30 pm when I got done and was ready
to rest for a while. Cheri got some brats thawed out for me to cook on the
grill for supper along with some baked beans. It has been a while since we have
had brats and tasted really good. The evening was spent napping and watching shows
we had recorded. So nice to have the DVR as when you fall asleep you can back
up and watch what you have missed plus no commercials to watch.

Cheri was busy with laundry
this morning and then both of us were busy with Bible study before we left at
10:30 am to meet friends from the two Alaskan caravan trips we were on. We met
in Orlando at Longhorn Steak house. We had met Bill & Lynda on our 2008
trip and Dick & Marie on our 2012 trip. Both couples live in the Great
Outdoors community near Titusville and met each other in a Bible study class.
We saw Bill and Lynda last year but has been four years since we last seen Dick
and Marie. Sure was good to get together and catch up. On the way home we
stopped at Wal-Mart in Lakeland to pick up a few things we needed. We arrived
home a little pass 4:00 pm. Because we had a big lunch Cheri fixed us an egg,
sausage, and cheese biscuit for supper. The evening was spent watching TV shows
we had recorded.

It was a more relaxed day not
as busy as yesterday. Cheri went for her haircut this morning, yes she did
drive herself but that is the only time she has done any driving. I worked on
getting the security camera hooked to the internet and mounted. Shortly after
Cheri got back I headed over to Grandma’s to take her for her 11:00 am B-12
shot. Then I took her to the bank and back home. Next I headed over to Larry
and Denise’s to drop of the water filter for the refrigerator and gates to keep
Larry’s sister’s dog in the back entry of the house. From there I took the car
through the car wash and the last stop was Lowe’s to get some additional materials
to install the security camera and a part for Cheri’s lamp. It was after 1:30
pm when I got home for a late lunch. Cheri had baked some cookies in her new
stove along with doing her Tuesday housework. This afternoon I worked on our
projection clock that we have in the bedroom. The temperature part wasn’t
working. I had cleaned it up the other day and checked the batteries but still
didn’t work. I took the outdoor sensor apart and gave the contacts a good
cleaning and now it is back working again. After all of this Cheri and I were
ready for the recliners.

Another busy day for Cheri and
me. Cheri went right to work this morning moving things from the old
refrigerator to the new one. Then she worked on getting the old one cleaned up
so Larry and I could move it over to their place. While Cheri was doing that I
tried to get the new security camera set up and couldn’t get it hooked to the
internet, after several tries I realized I was using the wrong password. I also
called HHGreg and told them that the delivery guys forgot to take the old
stove. I told them to credit me the $30.00 that it was going to cost us and
said I would get rid of it myself. When Cheri got done with the refrigerator I
called Larry and told him we were ready to move it to their place. When Larry
got here we loaded the old stove and took it to the salvage yard and got a
little over $9:00 for it so it turned out to be a good deal for us. Larry and I
had to take the old refrigerator all apart to get out of the house. While we
were getting it loaded Cheri fixed Larry and us Rueben sandwiches for lunch. After
lunch Larry and I took the Refrigerator over to his place. We had a hard time
getting it in through their side door. Larry’s neighbour came just the right
time to help us get into the house. It took a while to get it all back together
as we also had to change the door to swing the other direction. It was near
5:00 pm when I got home. Cheri had the house all cleaned up and decorated for
Easter. Cheri made us Clam chowder for supper. We were both really tired but
felt good about what we got done today.

It was a busy morning around
here getting things ready for the delivery of the new refrigerator and stove.
Cheri busy cleaning (I guess it must be spring cleaning as it is the first day
of spring), putting away the St. Patrick’s Day decorations, and getting out the
Easter decorations. I was busy putting up the new cabinet above the
refrigerator and then caulking around the new water line and putting everything
back in place outside. We thought the new appliances would be here early today
but got a call that they wouldn’t be here until sometime between 5:30 pm and
8:00 pm. Cheri also started a corn beef in the crockpot to have corn beef and
cabbage for supper. The new appliances showed up at 5:30 pm and they had them
all in place and hooked up by 6:30 pm. They were supposed to haul away the old
stove and after they left I check and it was still sitting in the driveway. I
will call them tomorrow to see what they are going to do. Cheri did wipe down
the refrigerator and stove and the rest will have to wait until tomorrow. This
evening was the first night of Dancing with the Stars. So you know what we were
watching this evening and Judge Cheri was on top of her game already letting me
know who will be going home.

Grandma didn’t go to church
this morning I think she thought it would be too cold for her to be out and
about. Cheri is over her cold but is very low on energy. I am still fighting a cough
I can’t seem to get rid of. After we got home from church Cheri and I remove
the stove from our neighbour’s and moved our stove over to her place. She had a
lot of things wrong with her stove so we gave her our old one and when they
bring our new one they will haul away her stove. When we were done with that I
made a trip to Lowe’s to get the electrical materials I need to install the
outside security camera. Plus I wanted to use the conduit to fish the new water
line for the new refrigerator. I had a hard time getting the new water line in
but with Cheri’s help I finally got it done. It was 5:00 pm when I got done and
was ready for a nice hot shower. We had our usual Sunday evening meal of pizza.
But Cheri had to bake it in the convection microwave which she hasn’t done
before. We settled in to watch some TV, more for me than Cheri because it was
time to watch the NASCAR race I had recorded.

Another busy day for us. Cheri
started with making baked beans to take to our Sunday school class picnic. I
worked on getting the water to the refrigerator, getting the hole through the
floor is about all I got done before it was time to leave for the picnic. We
had a good turn out with at least forty of us. The men deep fried fish and hushpuppies
and everyone brought a dish to pass. It was a really good meal along with some
good fellowship and games. It was near 3:00 pm when we got home. Cheri went to
work on cleaning up the stove which we are giving to our next door neighbour as
hers has many problems. I worked on trying to get under the house to pull in
the new water line but couldn’t get through. I did do some digging but still no
luck. I ran out of energy on that and decided to wait. I did get the cabinet
removed above the refrigerator as there wasn’t going to be enough room for the
new refrigerator. By 5:00 pm Cheri and I had done all we could do for the day.
It was 44 degrees this morning but warmed up quickly to be a perfect day for
the picnic near 80 degrees and no wind.

I met with my accountable group
at 6:30 am for breakfast and some Bible study. I was back home by 8:30 am.
Cheri was already busy doing her Friday house work and laundry. I showered and
got ready to face the rest of the day. We left around 10:00 am and headed to
Lakeland to check out new refrigerators and stoves. Our first stop was Best Buy
and they gave us a better price than Lowe’s or Home Depot. Our next stop was
HHGreg. Their pricing was even better than Best Buy and after thinking
everything over we decided to buy there. They will be delivering the new appliances
on Monday. When we got back to Zephyrhills we headed to Wal-Mart to get
groceries and other supplies. After we were done with all of that I headed over
to Lowe’s to get the supplies I need to install a new water line for the
refrigerator. The old water line is hooked to the soft water and being the new refrigerator
has a water dispenser I want to have the hard water for it. I was working on
installing the new line when Larry and Denise came over. There is a park wide
yard sale here tomorrow and a lot of things were already set out so we walked
around the park checking things out. Denise and Larry bought a few things and
Cheri bought a couple of lamps and I bought a drill bit sharpener. It was after
5:00 pm when we got back to the house. Cheri fixed us a Rueben sandwich with
chips for supper. Later I had to have some popcorn to watch TV. It was another
cold 37 degree morning but warm up to be a beautiful day without the wind we
have had the last few days.

It was 37 degrees this morning
and more cold mornings to come. Cheri was busy with her Thursday house work and
laundry this forenoon. I did some internet searching on stoves and refrigerators.
This afternoon Cheri and Denise went to Lakeland for a quilt show. Larry and I
headed to Lowe’s to look at stoves, refrigerators, electrical supplies for our
outdoor security camera, and gate hardware. We also looked at many other
things. Then we went to Home Depot and did the same thing. Then we went back to
Lowe’s to compare the stove and refrigerator prices with what we saw at Home
Depot. Lowe’s had the best deals because they would let me use my military
discount and Home Depot wouldn’t let me use it on sale items. Another good
reason to give my business to Lowe’s and not Home Depot. When Cheri and Denise
got home we headed to Pizza Hut for supper and then back to our place to play a
game of Hand, Knee, and Foot. Larry and I were the lucky ones tonight. It did
warm up to be a very nice day but still needed a light jacket.

Being a cold morning I didn’t
see the need to get around so stayed inside doing some computer work and Bible
study. Cheri did some house work and Bible study before we left at 11:30 am for
her eye appointment in Tampa at 1:00 pm. This is a new doctor and came away
with some hopes of getting some help to resolve the double vision she has. It
was 3:00 pm when we got done with her appointment and headed home. When we got
home we had time to rest before meeting Mike and Pam along with Pam’s friend Bernadette
for dinner at Terra Healthy Fresh Food restaurant. It has been seven years since
we last saw Bernadette, good to see her again and catch up. Cheri and I are
still fighting colds and settled in with our blankets and watched some TV shows
we had recorded. It is supposed to get down into the high 30’s tonight, don’t
remember it ever being this cold for this time of the year.

I think we are feeling a
little better than yesterday, still not much energy. We were on the road at
10:00 am heading to Parrish to visit Pat and Roger. Pat and Cheri have been friends
for many years, goes back to the days when they were single. After a shot visit
they took us out for lunch at a place we hadn’t been to before, very nice. We were
seated in the back corner of the restaurant which turned out to be nice as it
was quieter so we could visit. Pat and Roger bought our lunch to celebrate our
50th anniversary along with a card which isn’t until June but we won’t
see them again until fall. After lunch we went back to Pat and Roger’s to play
a game of Phase Ten which Roger won. Pat and I struggled but couldn’t keep up
with Cheri and Roger. It was fun getting together again. We arrived home at
6:00 pm. We had a large lunch so settled for an English muffin with peanut
butter for supper. Then settled for our usual evening of TV. Another great day
God made for us to spend it with good friends.

It wasn’t a good a day for
Cheri and me. Cheri is fighting a cold that she got from me and I am still not
back to where I need to be. So we spent our day in the recliners napping,
reading, and watching TV. Not having any sun today didn’t help any. Late this
afternoon it started raining and continued into the evening, just a nice soaking
rain and received a little over ½ inch. Looking for a better day tomorrow.

After working at the Wild Game
Feed yesterday I didn’t want to get up this morning plus an hour earlier for
daylight savings time. Grandma went of church and Sunday school with us today.
It was 1:00 pm when we got home. I went back to bed for a two hour nap and
Cheri read and watched TV. When I got up we watched a show together before it
was time to watch my NASCAR race. There wasn’t much excitement until the last
lap of the race. After the race we had pizza for supper and watched a few more
shows before calling it a night. We also got a hard rain around 8:00 pm (rained
so hard we couldn’t hear the TV) and only lasted for about 20 minutes and
received just under ½ inch.

I took it pretty easy this
morning as I was still tired from the motorcycle trip yesterday. I did some
internet searching and did find what I needed for gate hardware for the fence
that I am putting under the carport. That along with Bible study and checking
out the new security camera that I will be putting up outside. Cheri was busy
with her quilt project. I left the house at 11:30 am and headed to church where
I met five other guys from our Sunday school class and then headed for a large
pavilion in west Pasco County where the Men’s Baptist Wild Game feed was going
to be held. We were cooking gator and fish. There were many other Baptist men’s
groups cooking different kinds of meat. Another group from our Sunday school
class were cooking wild pig. Some of the other things that were cooked by other
groups of men were reindeer sausage, camel, caribou, venison, wild turkey,
moose, Brunswick stew, goat, octopuses, and many others that I don’t remember.
A minister from one of the other churches was our main speaker. There were many
door prizes that were given away. I don’t know how many people attended but
from the picture I have posted there were a lot. It was after 9:00 pm when I
got back home. It was a lot of fun spending time with other Christian men.

Five of us guys left this morning
at 8:00 am on our motorcycles headed to Daytona for Bike Week. It was foggy
when we left but was a nice cool ride. It was around 11:30 am when we arrived.
It was the first day of Bike Week and there were already a lot of bikers there.
We enjoyed walking around and checking out all the bikes and new things. I felt
like I got held up for lunch. I had a sausage dog with fries and a bottle of
water for $16.00. We left a little past 2:00 pm to head home and was going to
be a hot ride. We made two stops one for gas and then one at McDonald’s for a
Shamrock shake. We arrived home around 5:30 pm. The trip was a total of 234
miles. Cheri and Denise left around 9:30 am to have a day of shopping and made
the rounds to all the stores. When we got home they were in the sewing room
working on a new project. Larry and Denise left shortly after we got home. I
was really tired and headed for the recliner and that is where I stayed until
it was time to go to bed, spent more time napping than watching TV. I think I
am getting too old for these all day rides.

No work today, time to have a
fun day. Larry and Denise picked us up at 9:30 am and headed to Plant City for
the Strawberry Festival. It was fun checking out all of the vendor’s and some
of the cattle. We left around 1:30 pm and headed over to Parkesdale Farm Market
to have their famous strawberry shortcake (late lunch). Denise also bought a
few fresh vegetables. Our last stop was Rooms to Go furniture outlet store. I
couldn’t believe how big this store was and there were some great deals to be
had. It was around 3:30 pm when we arrived home. Cheri and I were bushed and
done for the day. Cheri fixed me some leftover clam chowder for supper. It was
another evening of TV along with some napping.

Got up this morning feeling
much better and Cheri said that she felt more rested. She went to work doing
house work and ironing. I spent the morning at Jan Hughes cleaning out the rain
gutters on her house. It was after noon when I got home. We had a quick lunch
as Cheri had a 1:00 pm appointment to have the lens in her glasses changed. It
will take a few days to see if this is going to correct her double vision. Then
we went to pick up medicine and groceries for Grandma. I also sprayed around
her home for ants and roaches, something that has to be done here in Florida
every few months. It was after 4:00 pm when we finally got home. Time to rest
for a bit before Cheri headed to the kitchen to make us some New England clam
chowder for supper. This evening we went over to Larry and Denise’s to play
Hand, Knee, and Foot. Larry and I won the first game by a pretty good margin. I
guess it was like waking a sleeping lion because Cheri and Denise destroyed us
the next game. It was still a lot of fun.

Cheri and I are both tired
today, no energy to do anything. Cheri did her Tuesday house work and she was
done for the day. I am still fighting the cold and was 10:00 am before I was ready
to face the day. We did our Bible study this morning and the rest of the day
was spent in our recliners napping and watching TV. Pray that tomorrow finds us
healthy and wise with lots of energy. Darren called this evening to see how we
were doing and sent some more videos of Wyatt. He is growing so fast and will
be walking within a couple of weeks.

My cold is about the same
today as yesterday with no energy. Greg and Sandy came at 9:00 am. Cheri and
Sandy went shopping here in Zephyrhills and then went to a movie this
afternoon. Greg and I headed to Ocala to visit Don Garlits Museum of Drag
Racing. I have been by it many times but never stopped to check it out. Well we
got there a little after 10:00 am and spent looking until noon and then went to
a nearby McDonald’s for lunch and then back to the museum to see more. Long
story short we did get through everything but didn’t have enough time to really
see things plus we ran out of energy walking. We left around 3:00 pm and headed
home. Cheri and Sandy got home just a few minutes before we did. Cheri and
Sandy fixed us rotisserie chicken along with all the trimmings for supper. Before
we knew it was time to say goodbye to Greg and Sandy as they are heading back
to Maine tomorrow. It has been fun having them here and showing them some of
the different places here in Florida. After they left we headed for the
recliners. I tried to watch a show with Cheri but fell asleep through the show.
She woke me up and I was able to watch TV the rest of the evening.

Gay Mar-5-17
I got up with a cold starting
today so not feeling the greatest. Grandma went to church with us today. The
service was all about testimonies from a group of people who went to Cuba for a
week. It was very interesting on how they brought people to God. It was all
very moving. In fact the service went over by 30 minutes. Sunday school was
also very good. Charlie was teaching about what we have to do to be good disciples.
After we dropped Grandma off we stopped by Greg and Sandy’s to have them come
over to our place this afternoon. Greg and I went to Lowe’s and I bought the
fencing I want to put up around the carport. As long as Greg had his truck here
it was nice of him to haul it home for me. Larry was going to use his brother’s
trailer to haul it. Mike also had said that he would haul it for me. Now I don’t
have to bother them. After we got home and the fence unloaded we sat outside
and visited. Cheri and Sandy were visiting inside and together they fixed us
supper. We visited some more after supper before they headed back to Baker
Acers. I settled in to watch the NASCAR race that I had recorded. Cheri watched
some but spent most of the time on her I-Pad. After the race we watched a
couple more shows we had recorded and called it a night.

Greg and I left at 9:00 am for
Leesburg to visit the Farmall tractor museum. I had heard about it before but
had forgotten about it. When talking with Greg the other day he brought it up
and we decided we should go and see it. It is a wonderful museum and got to see
some of the same tractors we used on dad and mom’s farm. Along with all the
tractors they also had many other things that International made. Greg and I
stopped for a very late lunch at Burger King on the way home. Cheri and Sandy
went shopping here in town. Before they got done shopping the car showed on the
dash display that the battery was low in Cheri’s key fob. Cheri was worried
that the car would stop and she wouldn’t be able to drive it so they came home
and watched some movies on TV. When we got home Cheri was ready to fix us
supper before we went to Dade City for the car show. I told her we already eat
so she and Sandy had some of the leftovers from yesterday. But we did have
strawberry short cake with them. When we got to the car show some of the cars
were already leaving. Found out the show was from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm which was
new to me because we always went around 4 or 5 pm. So we missed a lot of the
cars. When we got home Greg and Sandy headed back to their camper and Cheri and
I tried to watch some TV, did more sleeping than watching.

We had a blessed day. It started
with me having breakfast in Dade City with my accountably group. When I got
home Cheri was busy with her Friday house work. I headed over to Mike and Pam’s
to help Mike with a honey dew job for Pam. Then back home at 10:00 am to spend
time with friends (Peter & Vicky and Peter & Donna) from Wisconsin that
I used to work with in the telephone industry. They left around 1:00 pm and
then we headed over to Baker Acers to see Greg and Sandy. We had trouble
finding a place to park and headed down a few sites to where one of our neighbour’s
lived when we had our fifth wheel in the park. They has just came home so we
got to spend a few minutes with them catching up. Then up to Greg and Sandy’s
for a couple of hours before it was time to meet Mike and Pam to go out for
dinner over in Wesley Chapel where we met Ron and Sandy. After dinner we headed
to Ron and Sandy’s for our Life Group gathering which was the last one for the
season. So you can see we were blessed with many friends today. Thank you God.

First thing this morning
Cheri was busy getting a pot roast along with onions, potatoes, and Carrots in
the crockpot to have for supper. Greg and Sandy came over at 9:00 am and we
headed for the flea market here in Zephyrhills. Greg and Sandy had never been
to one before and wondered why they call it a flea market. I never knew why and
told Greg to Google it and this is what he found out. “It originated in France...there were the outdoor markets full of used
furniture, clothing, household items and such and then there were the fleas (in
the stuff) so it eventually was dubbed a "flea market". When we got
back to our place I fired up the grill and did some hamburgers for lunch. Then
it was an afternoon of visiting. Greg and I did take a walk around our park,
something I haven’t done in a couple of years. Cheri and Sandy stayed in the
house where it was cool and visited. After supper Greg and Sandy headed back to
their camper and we settled in for an evening of TV. Nice to be able to spend
time with family.

I had contacted Larry
early this morning and planned on helping him to change windows in their house.
But then around 8:30 am I received a call from Greg and Sandy (Cheri’s sister)
that they were here Maine camping in Baker Acers just three sites up from where
we use to park our fifth wheel. So I contacted Larry and told him that I wouldn’t
be able to help him. We headed over to Baker Acers to see them. We visited for
a while and then went out Golden Coral for lunch and then back to their place
for more visiting. While Cheri and Sandy visited Greg and I took his truck
downtown through the car wash. Being our car needed to be washed we made
another trip with our car. The rest of the afternoon was spent visiting and
later we went to Dade City to have supper at Burger King. We took a roundabout
way home so we could show Greg and Sandy the big tree that is outside of
Zephyrhills. After we dropped them off we headed home. We settled in for some
TV and then called it a night. Sure was good to see Sandy and Greg.

Boy this month sure as flown
by fast, not sure where the time goes. Cheri fixed us a nice breakfast of
scrambled eggs with bacon and English muffin. After breakfast Cheri and I made
a stop at the bank for Grandma and then went to Wal-Mart to get her medicine
and groceries. We couldn’t get her medicine as we were told it was too soon for
the insurance to pay for it. We did get her groceries and dropped them off at
her place. There wasn’t any time for lunch as we had to be in Dade City for our
tax appointment at 12:00 pm (good thing we had a big breakfast). They were
running a little behind time plus when they were doing ours the computer system
went down for about half an hour. Long story short we are going to get a refund
and didn’t get home until 2:30 pm. Cheri and I didn’t feel like doing anything
this late so we headed to the recliners to relax. We tried to watch some TV but
we both had a hard time staying awake so I think it was more napping then
watching. After having leftovers for supper it was time to settle in for an
evening of TV.
