I was up early this morning not able to sleep in. I left for my morning walk at 6:20 am. It was good that I did because we got more rain. We got a total of a little over 2 ½ inches. In fact we got two inches of it in an hour, don’t remember ever seeing it rain that hard before. I was working on the 4 runner while it was raining really hard and one of the rain gutter brackets broke and the water really came gushing down. My cell phone quit working this morning so Cheri and I headed for the Sprint store to get a new one. There are two things in life that I don’t like to do, buying a car and cell phones. I always feel like I am being taken advantage of. Anyway I did get a new phone and have to pay more than I wanted. It was noon when we got done with the cell phone and next door was Subway so we had a sandwich for lunch. Then we made a stop at Auto Zone as I need another quart of transmission fluid. When we got home Cheri headed to the sewing room and I finished the 4 runner and took it for a drive checking everything that I had done. We got a called this evening from Darren telling us the house is sold if the inspection and appraisal go through and they want to close on the 28th of this month. They had a lot of people come through and had gotten two offers within a couple of days after it was listed.
