Gay Mar-12-18

Today started out to be a
nasty rainy day. But by late afternoon it was pretty nice except for a stiff
wind. Cheri took Grandma for her 11:15 am radiation treatment. I had an 11:00
am appointment at the VA here in Zephyrhills. I thought it was going to be an
injection for the lump in my lung but turned out to be a TB test and have to go
back on Wednesday to have it read. I hadn’t planned on doing any work this week
because Sandy and Greg are here. But I got a call from a guy who said that the
kitchen sink wouldn’t drain and he had just got out of the hospital. So after
my appointment I went to see if I could fix the drain. When I got there both
sinks were full of water and had to bail out the water before removing the
drain trap. The trap was clear but from there into the wall it was plug tight
and was hard like concrete. I had to run the pipe cleaner in and out many time
before it was clear. After an hour of cleaning I got everything working again.
It was around 1:30 pm when I got home for a late lunch. We called Greg and
Sandy and had them come over. While Cheri and Sandy visited Greg and I went
down town and bought the shower base and surround for the bathroom project I
will be working on next week. At 4:00 pm we took Sandy and Greg to Sunrise
Eatery for supper. Then back to our place for some homemade chocolate chip
cookies Cheri made today. They left around 7:00 pm and we settled in to watch a
little TV before calling it a night. Thank you God for guiding us through
another day.
