Cheri fixed us breakfast
this morning of eggs, hash browns, sausage, and English muffin. Then a relaxing
time with coffee. I really didn’t feel like doing anything today as I put off
another job that I had planned on doing and don’t like to do, cleaning and
detailing the car. I did change an outside light bulb for a lady down the
street. At 1:00 pm I checked out another electric wiring job here in our park which
I will be doing tomorrow. The rest of the day was spent with Cheri working on
the puzzle and by 5:00 pm we took a break. Cheri fixed us some type of Italian
sandwich which was on garlic toast along with the leftover potato salad. After
supper Cheri finished the puzzle. The rest of the evening was spent watching
TV. I just realized there must be a lot of women out there that are going crazy
because they are going though withdraw not being able to go shopping. So just
saying guys look out for what you say to them. Thank you God for a blessed and healthy
day.

It was another new normal
today as we went to our drive in church. It was held at out church property out
in the country. There were 77 cars there and Pastor Randy delivered his message
from a semi-truck trailer. Several people were holding signs to welcome us in and
people helping us park our cars. Pastor Randy’s message was from Mark 4:35-41.
It was a good message how we need to trust God to bring us through the storm we
are in now. Then it was back home to get on Zoom for our Sunday school lesson
with Charlie Rodgers at 11:00 am. Well I had trouble and couldn’t get into the
meeting. It keep telling me that Charlie already had a meeting going. Well it
turned out the latest e-mail we got from Charlie had the wrong ID number to get
in. I tried many thing with no luck. I finally gave up and went and did some
bible study. Later I went to an older e-mail I had from Charlie and it had a
different ID number for the Sunday school lesson. So I tried it and got online
with Charlie and a couple of others. But the meeting was over and they were
just talking about things that were going on. Cheri read the Sunday paper and
spent the rest of the day working on the puzzle. She has made a lot of
progress. I tried to help until my back won’t take anymore. Later I went and
got the bar chair Cheri uses at her cutting table. With that I was able to help
on the puzzle without my back hurting. We had our usual Sunday evening pizza
for supper. The evening was spent watch some of our shows. Thank you God for
being able to attend church spending time with you.

It turned to be a hot day
with a high of 91 degrees. I worked outside cleaning off the roof and cleaning
the gutters. It is another job I hate doing an always try and putting it off
until later. Well later came today. I started early this morning before it got
hot but was already getting pretty hot when I got done at 11:30 am. I took a
shower eat lunch and headed for the recliner. Cheri spent the day working on
the puzzle. I helped her find a couple of pieces. Cheri fixed us potato salad
and brats for supper. Later Cheri asked me if I wanted some carrot cake. Well
now she is talking because I really like carrot cake. It turned out that we
brought over to our place some carrot cake mix from Grandma’s. It was the kind
that you put the mix in a cup and add a little milk and pop it in the microwave
for a bit and you have carrot cake. It wasn’t my idea of carrot cake. It wasn’t
very good as Cheri does make the best carrot cake. We continue watching shows
we have recorded and are about all caught up. Thank you God for a blessed day
and keeping us all safe from the COVID-19. We heard today that there are two
cases here in Zephyrhills.

Not much going on as we
are trying to stay at home. Probably a good thing for me as I am getting a few
things done around the house that I have been put off for other work I have
been doing. Today was an overcast morning and decided it would be a good time
to do the lawn raking which was one of those jobs I don’t like to do. I started
early and didn’t get done until noon. I raked up nine big bags of leaves. This
afternoon the sun came out and the temp got up into the high 80’s. Cheri was
busy with the laundry and went to pick up her medicine she ordered yesterday.
When she got home she checked and they shorted her on one medication which was
supposed to be for 90 days and only got 30 days. So she called them and are
getting it corrected so she had to make another trip to the pharmacy. Cheri
spent the rest of the day working on the puzzle. I took the drone out and flew
it around the house. I am starting to feel like I have more control and able to
fly it in tighter spots. I did try to help Cheri with the puzzle and could only
work on it for a very short time as my back won’t let me stand and bend over
the table for very long without pain. We had leftover lasagna with garlic toast
for supper and yes a couple of chocolate chip cookies for dessert. It was a
normal evening of TV along with me having some popcorn. Thank you God for keeping
us safe from the COVID-19.

I had a small electrical job
here in the park to install and outdoor outlet with a ground fault breaker.
They needed a place to plug in their golf cart. I was done with the project by
noon. Cheri was busy with laundry and working on the puzzle. By evening she had
the puzzle border put together. I tried to help her but my back hurt while
bending over the table. So I will be limited on how much I can help her. I
spent a quiet afternoon reading, searching on the internet, watching TV, and
napping. I had planned on doing some more work outside but it was too hot for
me to be out (well that is what I used for an excuse). Cheri fixed us lasagna with
garlic toast for supper and chocolate cookies for dessert. Later while watch
some of our recorded shows we had a bowl of ice cream. Thank you God for keeping
us safe and healthy today.

I made a trip to Lowe’s at
7:00 am. Wanted to be there when there wasn’t so many people to be around. I
managed to get the sheetrock I need to repair the wall where a door was removed
and a window was installed at Donna’s. I also got some electrical supplies for
a project I will be working on tomorrow. We got a call from Larry and Denise
this morning and they are doing ok. They are doing the self-isolation and have
another week to go. Larry had me go over to their house here and get some
internet equipment and drop it off at his brother’s place so he can take it
back to Canada for them. I wanted to do some work outside but was getting
really warm and decided to take the rest of the day off. I spent some time
online checking out things for the camper. Thinking about adding a cabinet in
the camper bathroom. So done some checking on the cost of them and maybe I will
build one with some of the materials I already have. After Cheri got her
Wednesday house work done she got out a folding table and is now putting together
a picture puzzle that she got from Larry and Denise. I watched some old episodes
of Heat in the Night. I used to enjoy putting puzzles together but couldn’t get
into doing it today. Thank God for this day and keep our family, friends, and
love ones safe from the COVID-19.

I was informed by Cheri
this morning that she didn’t make chocolate cookies, that they were chocolate
chip cookies. That’s what happens when you leave out the chip. Cheri and I went
over to the camper this morning to do some measuring to see what size
containers we will need and to see if some of what we have will fit. After the measuring
we have many that will fit. I also took measurements on making a shelf to
install under the kitchen sink. So it was a work at home day. Cheri with her
normal Tuesday housework and me working on the camper counter flip up extension.
I also was able to make the shelf for under the sink with materials I had on
hand. Things went well and had counter top self and sink shelf all done and
installed by 2:30 pm. After a shower and getting cleaned up I spent some time
on the computer doing some updating to our health reimbursement plan. I guess
the company is going through an audit and need all information updated. After
this was done I headed to the recliner where Cheri was already reading her
novel. Cheri fixed us leftover corn beef and cabbage. Later I had popcorn for a
snack while watching some of our TV shows. Thank you God for guiding us through
these trying times. Praying for our country to control and eliminate COVID-19.

I worked over at Donna
Perkins on installing the blinds in her liana. It turned out to be a bigger job
than I thought it would be. I had to do a redesign on the installation which
took a while to figure out how to do it. Long story short the liana is
officially finished. I still have more work to do for Donna but plan on taking
a few day off to get some work done on the camper and around the house. I also
looked at a small electrical job here in the park I plan on doing which will
only take about three hours to do. Cheri was busy with the normal Monday house
work along with getting all the Easter decoration up and on display. She also
made me chocolate cookies and put a corn beef in the crockpot so we could have corn
beef and cabbage for supper. I had set the trap Saturday night but didn’t catch
anything in it but this morning when I got up I had caught another feral cat
which I took for a ride this morning. The county won’t take them and you are
supposed to take them and have them neutered and then bring them back and turn
them loose which we can’t afford to do. It was a normal evening of TV which I
napped through a couple of show before staying awake for the rest. Thank you
God for a blessed day. When you read this please say and extra prayer for the
doctors and nurses who put their lives on the line to help us through this
COVID-19.

Cheri got up at 6:00 am to
make cinnamon rolls so they could raise and be ready to bake off for our
breakfast along with an egg, sausage, and cheese on an English muffin. It was
another new normal here today as we didn’t get dressed for church. Our church
has been closed and will be doing live streaming over the internet. So we
settled in at 9:45 am to watch the church service. Pastor Randy message came
from Matthew 6:25-34. It was a good message for the time we are in right now.
At 11:00 am we signed on to the internet as Charlie Rodgers set up a video meeting
where we could see each other and had our Sunday school lesson. So we were all
together but still at home. For the first time doing this it went well, just
have a few tweaks that need to be done. Our lesson today was titled “Justified”
from Romans 3:21-4:3. All who accept the gospel by faith are justified before
the Father. We had a sandwich for lunch and then settled in to watch a movie. I
couldn’t get into the movie so I went over to the camper to build a frame work
for the new fold down kitchen counter shelf I made. I got the frame work
installed and still have to round the corners on the shelf before installing
it. Cheri came over after the movie to hang the bedroom curtains she made. When
we got back home I headed for the shower as I was all sweaty from working at
the camper. After the shower I settled in with Cheri to watch some shows and
did more napping than watching. Cheri fixed us pizza for supper as it has been
a couple of Sundays since we had our Sunday evening pizza. I managed to stay
awake the rest of the evening with watching TV. Thank you God for being with us
today and able to still have our church service and Sunday school lesson.

I guess we all are looking
at a new normal as we didn’t go out for breakfast at the Hole-in-One donut
shop. Life will change for all of us going forward. I am not sure what God has
planned for us but I do know to trust and obey his word and he will guide us
through this. Cheri fixed us a big breakfast of eggs, bacon, hash browns,
juice, and an English muffin. Yes I made the coffee. Cheri worked in her sewing
room and got the new bedroom curtains for the camper done. I worked on
installing the new doors I made a few months ago in the camper. I installed them
on the front ends of the banquette. It should make it easier to get thing in
and out of it. After that was done it was time to work with Charlie Rodgers to
set up a test internet session to use tomorrow for our Sunday school lesson.
Everyone will be able to sign in tomorrow and be part of the lesson. It will be
the same as every other Sunday except doing it from home (another new normal). This
afternoon I worked on making a fold down shelf to attach to the kitchen counter
in the camper. I got it put together late this afternoon and hope to get it
installed this next week. Cheri fixed us ribeye steak and baked potatoes for
supper. Later we had a dish of ice cream while watching TV. We watched the new episodes
of Parker’s Trails on Gold Rush. It was very interesting. Thank you God for
keeping us heathy and guiding us through this day.

I was up early to write
down the barking dog times as it started around 3:30 am. If I don’t get up and
write it down I won’t remember when I do get up as it has to be the exact time.
Cheri was busy with laundry along with some other house work. She also spent
time reading a novel. I worked on the truck this morning putting on a new hood
trim piece that was broken. With that done I headed to Wesley Chapel to have
the car serviced. I stayed outside walking around and staying away from other
people while it was been serviced. It was around 11:30 am when I got home.
Cheri and I had an early lunch so I could continue working on the truck. I
installed the new headlight. I had to take a lot apart to get to the bolts that
held the headlight in place. After that was done I installed the new backup
camera which I had bought a few months ago. It will help when hooking up the
camper. It’s nice to be home to get some of the things that need to be done around
here. I was done by 3:00 pm and joined Cheri and watched a couple of shows that
I napped through. Cheri fixed a new recipe called Garlic Pinwheels to go along
with the spaghetti. The Garlic Pinwheels were ok but nothing special and Cheri
won’t be making them again. We got some bad news from Darren this evening his
dog had to be put down. She went through an operation for an intestine blockage
and wasn’t able to recover. He has had the dog for many years and was a
constant companion for him. We watched some of our recorded TV shows before
calling it a night. Thank you God for helping us through the day and keeping
COVID-19 away from us along with family, friends, and love ones.

I was woke up early this
morning with the dog barking from the house behind us that isn’t in our park.
It has been an ongoing thing since last April. I have complained to the Pasco
County and was told to fill out an Animal Nuisance Affidavit report which I
have done two different times over the last six months. And they now tell me I
have to report the starting time of the dogs barking and the ending time which
in each case has to be ten minutes of continued barking. Before I only reported
the starting times. Cheri was busy with laundry, ironing, and cleaning the
floors. I worked outside cleaning out my work space. I did get the outside
storage part pretty much done and now need to clean the inside portion. I also
got the new drive belt install on the truck. Cheri and I headed out at 1:30 pm
to get some groceries at Walmart but didn’t stop as the parking lot was full of
cars and didn’t want to be around that many people. We also checked Publix’s
and Winn Dixie which was just like Walmart. So we came back home and decided to
go back around 7:00 pm. So this time it wasn’t as busy and was able to get
almost everything we needed. I have never seen so many empty shelves. It
reminded me of a store that was going out of business after still being open
for three weeks. We also fill the car with gas which is down to $2.04 per
gallon. We had leftover chicken for supper along with Cheri fixing fresh fried
potatoes, gravy, and green beans. It was a normal evening of TV. Pam called us
this evening to let us know that there is a guy in their park that has tested
positive for COVID-19. Which is the first case in Zephyrhills. We also talked
to Nikki our daughter in Fond du Lac Wisconsin and they have 19 cases there
which is a hot spot in Wisconsin. I know God has a plan for us and we will get
through it with his help. But we also must submit to him in order to get the
help.

I didn’t need to be at
work until 9:30 am which was nice because I could spend more time with Cheri
this morning. I did have to load the truck with the things I needed for the
day. I am still working for Donna Perkins. I believe as us this afternoon the
only thing that is left to do in her liana is to install the window shades and
some caulking outside where the new liana comes against the house which should
have been done by the people that built the liana. I was home by 4:00 pm. It
was another day in the mid to upper 80’s so I was hot and tired. Cheri was busy
with her normal Wednesday housework and also took time to go over to Jeans for
a visit. We had the final leftovers of the roast beef for supper and another
piece of the lemon cake. At 7:00 pm Pastor Randy had a live broadcast on Face Book
telling us how things are going be done with church until things get better. We
will be watching the Sunday service here at home. The evening was spent
watching TV and napping for me. Thank you God for a blessed day.

The KEYS HAVE BEEN FOUND.
After doing a lot more searching I found them in the truck pocket between the seats.
I had looked yesterday three different times and Cheri had looked there for
them. Anyway they are back where I normally keep them. I am also in the process
of getting another set made. Greg and Sandy came over earlier today as Greg was
going to help me change spark plugs in the truck. First we made a trip to Auto
Zone to pick up the plugs and a new drive belt. When we got back home it was
already 11:30 am and decided to have lunch before starting on truck. I had a
hard time getting the sparkplug wires disconnected, never had trouble getting
off before. Things went slow with the changing but when we got to the 5th
plug it came out hard and couldn’t get the new one to tread into the hole. We
ended up removing the right front wheel and inter fender to gain access to the
sparkplug opening. Then we went to get a tap to clean up the threads in the
hole. After we got that done the plug screwed right in. By this time it was time to take a break for
supper as Cheri and Sandy fixed us hamburgers, chips, and corn on the cob with
lemon cake and ice cream for dessert. After supper we went out and finished
getting the truck back together. It was after 7:00 pm when we got done. We said
our goodbyes to Greg and Sandy as they are leaving bright and early tomorrow
morning heading for home in Maine. After all of this I was ready for a hot
shower to get cleaned up. The sparkplug project did save us $400.00 so it was
worth all the trouble we went through. Thank you God for a productive day.

I didn’t have any work
away from home today. So the day was planned on getting a few things done
around home today. Cheri and I were slow getting around taking time to lounge a
while with breakfast and coffee. It was after 9:00 am when we were ready to
face the day. I started the day with some internet shopping for the truck. I
ordered a new headlight assembly as the one on the driver’s side has a lot of moisture
in it. I also ordered new trim for on the front of the hood. All the fasteners
are broke except for two. When I took the truck through the carwash it almost
came off. While I was doing this Cheri went for groceries at Winn Dixie. When
she got home she started a beef roast in the crockpot to have for supper. I
also decided to do some work with the camper. When I went to get the camper keys
I couldn’t find them anywhere. Cheri even looked and couldn’t find them. The
last time I remember having them was when we took Greg and Sandy to show them
the camper. Needless to say that upset my day and couldn’t think of anything
else the rest of the day. I went with Cheri for her lung doctor’s appointment
and got a good report and doesn’t have to go back for a year. Sandy and Greg
came over late this afternoon for more visiting and supper. Cheri had fixed the
roast beef in the crockpot with onions, potatoes, and carrots. For dessert we
had ice cream and cookies. Greg and Sandy left around 6:30 pm. I got on the
computer with Darren as he installed an update that I needed. The rest of the
evening was watching some shows we had recorded. Thank you God for a blessed
day and need some help to find the camper keys tomorrow.

Cheri and I left for
church a little earlier than our usual time as Charlie wanted me to help him
set up the new sound system we have for our Sunday school class room. Due to
the Coronavirus our church service was done a third from people staying away.
No hugs or shaking hands. We didn’t pass the offering plate today as we stood
by the doors with the plate so they could deposit their tides. Pastor Randy led
a prayer service today. Normally we have around forty in our Sunday school
class but today we only had twenty three people. The Sunday school lesson was
titled “Insufficient” Since no one can keep the law perfectly, everyone needs a
Savior. After we got home Sandy and Greg came over. Greg and I made a trip to
Lowe’s and Harbor Freight for a few things I needed. When we got back Cheri and
Sandy went grocery shopping at Publix’s. They said a lot of the shelves were empty
but was able to get everything they needed. Cheri and Sandy fixed us fried
chicken from Publix’s along with French fries, green beans, and fresh baked biscuits.
Then some ice cream and cookies for dessert. Greg and Sandy left around 7:00 pm
heading back to their camper. We got a text from Larry and Denise and said that
they left at 10:30 am heading for home back in Canada. Thank God for a blessed
day with friends, family, love ones, and you.

Not much going on today.
At 7:15 am we picked up Greg and Sandy and took them to the Hole-in-One donut
shop for breakfast. After breakfast we came back to our place. Today was our
Park Wide Yard Sales. So Cheri and Sandy went one way and Greg and I went the
other way. Greg and I walked the whole park checking out all the sales I did
buy three different things. I bought a book box for Cheri. I bought a doggie
ladder for Donna as she had asked me to make one for her doggie to get up into
the bed. I also bought a small ceramic heater to have in the camper. When we
got back it was lunch time. After lunch I took Greg and Sandy back to their
camper. I did get the camper cover folded up and back in the storage bag. We
thought we would rest for a while but it wasn’t long and Larry and Denise
stopped over to tell us they were leaving this evening heading back home in
Canada. Many of the Canadians are getting calls from their insurance companies
telling them they need to get back home. This Coronavirus is causing a lot of
problems worldwide. I am not sure what God’s plan is but I do know that he will
take care of us. It may be a good time to check on well you are honoring God
and getting down on your knees and praying. Greg and Sandy came back around
4:00 pm. Cheri and Sandy fixed spaghetti and garlic toast for supper along with
the last of the strawberry shortcake. We watched a little TV before Greg and
Sandy headed back to their camper. We watched a few more shows before calling
it a night. Thank you God for a blessed day.

I will mention it is
Friday the 13th, not sure what is really behind it that is supposed
to be an unlucky day. Greg and Sandy came over at 7:00 am and we went to the
village inn for breakfast. When we got back to the house I called Mike to see
if he wanted to go and fly our drones, which he did and picked up Greg and
me. We once again went out to the church
property to do our flying as there is a lot of open space to learn more on
flying. I did a much better job of flying and relied on the screen to see where
I was flying. Before I was afraid to take my eyes off the drone. Mike and I both
learned more about what we could do with them. It was a lot of fun and looking
forward to the next time. When we got home Sandy wanted to go to McDonalds for
lunch as she wanted a fish sandwich. When we got back we watched some TV before
Greg and Sandy left to go shopping. Cheri and continued to watch some TV but I
mostly napped. Greg and Sandy were back around 4:00 pm. We visited and later
Cheri and Sandy fixed leftover Mac & cheese with more hotdogs and
strawberry shortcake. Greg and Sandy left a little after 7:00 pm. We watched a
few recorded shows before calling it a night. Thank you God for time spent with
family and a relaxing day.

I was on my own today
working as all I had to do was caulking and install a couple pieces of trim in
Donna liana plus all the cleanup and getting my tools home. I thought I would
be done by noon but that didn’t happen. I broke to have lunch with Cheri,
Sandy, and Greg. Then I headed back to finish my work at Donna’s. The carpet
layers are coming Tuesday to install the carpet. After that Larry and I will be
going back to install some base trim and some electrical work that needs to be finished.
Cheri took Greg and Sandy out to the Flea market this morning. Cheri bought me
a bag of kettle corn (bless her for thinking of me). She also bought more
strawberries for shortcake. Saturday is our park wide yard sales and I got to
go to check out one of the places that was going to have tools for sale. It
turned out to be a lot of old stuff that I didn’t need but did buy a couple of
bag chairs for the camper. Cheri and Sandy fixed us baked macaroni and cheese
along with hotdogs for supper. Then strawberry shortcake for dessert. After
Greg and Sandy left we settled in for an evening of recorded TV shows. Thank
you God for being with us and all of your guidance.

I was able to take the day
off from work to spend time with Greg and Sandy. When Cheri got up this morning
I asked her what she wanted for breakfast as I know she most always has a piece
of toast or an English muffin. Will this morning she said that she wanted
scrambled eggs and sausage. So we headed out to Dade City to have breakfast at
the Sweet Pea restaurant. We just got there when Pastor Randy came in so we invited
him to have breakfast with us. We had a nice visit with him. When we got home
Cheri did some of her Wednesday house work and I took the truck through the car
wash. A short time later Sandy and Greg came and we headed to Plant City to
have strawberry shortcake at the Parkesdale market. The strawberry shortcake
was ok but not as good as what Cheri did at home. Our next stop was the Mercantile.
Cheri really likes this store and like to take everybody there. They have used
furniture, craft items, and antiques. Our next stop was Lumber Liquidators so I
could pick up the additional trim for Donna’s liana. When we got home it was
time for more visiting along with some TV. Cheri and Sandy fixed us hamburgers
fries with all the trimmings for supper. We watched an old episode of Heat in
the Night before Sandy and Greg went back to their camper. We watched a couple
of shows before calling it a night. Thank you God for a blessed and safe day.

My day started with my accountability
group breakfast and Bible study. I had just enough time to get home and ready
for Larry to come so we could continue working on Donna’s liana. Today we
worked on the trim work. It wasn’t the best day for me as I made a few wrong
cuts on the trim. In time I got it right along with Larry’s help. We thought
that we would get done with all the trim today but at the end of the day we
were short one piece of trim and also had an electrical problem we will have to
figure out. It was 4:00 pm when we decided to quit for the day. As I needed to
get cleaned up to go out for dinner with Greg and Sandy at Golden Corral. Cheri
had her Tuesday house work to do along with getting her haircut. Sandy and Greg
came over this afternoon. When we were done with dinner Sandy and Greg headed
back to their camper. Cheri and I were both tired and didn’t watch every much
TV before calling it a night. Thank you God for guiding us through this day
with work and spending time with family. I forgot to take any pictures today.

At 9:00 am Larry and I
were back at work on Donna’s liana. We got the rest of the flooring on the
walls and were done by 3:00 pm. We did go over to Lowe’s to pick up some
materials we will need for the trim work. It was near 4:30 pm when I got home.
Greg and Sandy were here. Cheri took them to the old country store north of
Dade city and had lunch at IHOP in Dade City. Cheri fixed us the roast beef
leftovers and fresh strawberry short cake for desert. Sandy and Greg left a
little before 7:00 pm heading back to their camper. I headed for the shower to
get cleaned up and then joined Cheri to watch some of our recorded shows. Once
again the lady that was supposed to come and pick up the paper work to take
care of the dog problem we have didn’t show up, maybe tomorrow. My hands and
shoulders are feeling a little better each day. Thank you God for a blessed day.

Cheri was up earlier this
morning as she had to prepare the Sunday school lunch for today. I helped her
fill the crescents with the chicken salad while she got the cheese and crispy
bars ready. She also put a beef roast in the crockpot along with green beans,
onions, potatoes, and carrots to have for supper. Pastor Randy’s message today
was titled “Understanding Authority” from 1 Peter 2:15-17 which was continued
from last week. Our Sunday school lesson was titled “Guilty” from Romans
1:18-28, 32. Ignoring God leads to destruction. By the time we got the kitchen cleaned
up from the lunch it was near 1:30 pm when we got home. Cheri called Sandy and
Greg to come over so we could visit with them. Greg shared many of his trucking
stories with me which were very interesting. We had the roast beef with all the
fixings for supper and then had strawberry short cake for dessert. After Greg
and Sandy left we settled in for me to watch the NASCR race I had recording.
Cheri watch some with me but spent most of the time reading. After the race we
watched a couple of shows we had recorded. Thank you God for time spent with you,
family, and friends.

Greg and Sandy came over
at 7:00 am to go to the Hole-in-One donut shop to have breakfast with us. Cheri
and I had our usual breakfast. After breakfast we came back home so we could
visit. I had to leave at noon to help with the area Wild Game Feed. It is a
group of churches around the area that cook all different kinds of wild game
for a meal the men. Some of the things that I head were being fixed were
kangaroo, wild hog, turtle, moose, venison, bear, Elk, and I know there were
more. There were five of us from our church that breaded and deep fried fish
and alligator for over seven hundred men (that is a lot of fish and gator).
Everyone was served with in an hour and a half. It was a big job for the five
of us but managed to get through it. One of the big jobs was cleaning up the fryers
after we were done. It was 9:30 pm when I got home. Cheri spent the afternoon
with Greg and Sandy and took them to Dade City to monthly car cruise in. Thank
you God for being with family and friends today.

Cheri put in a very bad
night as she couldn’t get her mind to settle down so she could sleep. I also
had my problems but just old age and hurting joints. We left the house at 7:00
am to have breakfast at the Village Inn. After breakfast Cheri went to Winn
Dixies for groceries and I went for a haircut. We both got back home at the
same time. After putting the groceries away we headed to Wesley Chapel to Sam’s
Club. Cheri is one of the ladies that will be providing lunch for our Sunday
school class this Sunday. She likes to go to Sam’s to get crescents and chicken
salad for the lunch. While we were there I got two pair of shoes and Cheri
found a new vacuum cleaner we bought. Also got a couple bags of softener salt.
When we got home Cheri called Sandy and Greg to let them know we were home.
They arrived here from Maine yesterday and haven’t seen them. Larry and I went
to work over a Donna’s this afternoon and got most of the feature wall
installed. We quit at 4:00 pm as I needed to be home for supper with Greg and
Sandy. Cheri fixed chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn on the cob, and watermelon
for supper. We had had a good visit with them before they went back to their camper.
I was ready to have a hot shower and get cleaned up. We watched our normal
evening of TV before calling it a night. Thank you God for guiding us through
the day and spending time with family and friends.

Cheri and I left the house
at 7:30 am heading to Tampa VA where I had an appointment. Going over
everything that has been going on with my shoulders and hands. They can’t seem
to figure out what is causing it. They did take x-rays of my shoulders, knees,
and more blood work. I had figured on being home my noon but with the extra
time with the doctor and x-ray it didn’t happen. On the way home we also
stopped in Tampa Bay country to talk to Jan and Patty to let them know I couldn’t
do the kitchen backsplash install. It was after 1:00 pm when we got back to
Zephyrhills and still hadn’t had any lunch. I called Larry to tell him that
there wouldn’t be enough time to do any work today. We stopped at Jersey Mike’s
for a couple of sub sandwiches to take home for our lunch. We eat our lunch in
front of the TV watching Survivor which we had recorded. After lunch Cheri
worked on finding birth certificates for Darren, Brooke, and Wyatt. Darren had
left a lot of records with us before moving to Mexico. I spent the rest of the
afternoon napping. After having a late lunch we didn’t need much for supper.
Later in the evening Cheri fixed us an English muffin with egg, sausage, and
cheese. Then later a bowl of ice cream. Thank you God for safe travels today
and getting through the doctor’s appointments.

It was a beautiful day
with a light breeze but did get on the warm side this afternoon especially if
you were working outside in the sun like I was cutting wall underlayment and
insulation for the outside walls. Larry and I did make a trip to Lowe’s for
some additional materials we needed. Cheri and Denise made it another day of
shopping so Larry and I had to go to Calver’s for lunch again. It was nice
going out for lunch as it gives us a little time away from the job to relax. By
3:00 pm we were done with the underlayment installation. It was a good time to
quit for the day. Cheri had stopped by Donna’s to see how we were doing and to
visit with Donna. We were invited over to Larry and Denise’s for supper. Denise
had a roast beef with all the vegetables going in the crockpot. Supper was very
good. After supper we played a couple games of Hand, Knee, and Foot. We all
came away winner tonight. Cheri and I were back home by 9:00 pm. we headed to
bed and watch some TV there before calling it a night. Thank you God for all
the guidance and time spent with Larry and Denise. I forgot to take any
pictures of the work we done today.

It was another beautiful
day in the neighborhood. My day started with Bible study and breakfast with my accountability
group. We studied John chapter 18, a lot of material to absorb. Larry and
Denise came over at 9:00 am. Cheri and Denise spent the day shopping. Larry and
I worked over to Donna’s on her liana remodel. Larry and I had a good day. We
got the electrical roughed in, went and got the plywood under lament for the
wall, and got most of it installed. We took our lunch break at Calver’s and
then went to Lowe’s for the plywood material. We quit work at 3:00 pm. as I was
getting really tired and didn’t want to push myself anymore today. I headed for
the shower when I got home and then to my recliner. Cheri let me nap for an
hour or more before she fixed us spaghetti with garlic toast for supper. Being
we had a late supper we didn’t have any snack with TV this evening. Thank you
God for time spent with you this morning and Larry and I working together. I
like working with Larry as he always has good ideas on what to do.

It was a warmer morning
with a temp of 53 degrees and warmed to be a beautiful day. Cheri was busy this
morning with her Monday housework which she want to get done before our company
came. I tried to stay out of her way doing some paper work and making some
phone calls. Pat a lifelong girlfriend and her husband Roger came to spend the
day with us as they are from Maine and are in Florida for three weeks and
wanted to spend some time with us. We had a good visit before we went to
Sunrise Eatery for lunch. It is such a busy place and had to wait about fifteen
minutes to get in. On the way home we stopped and showed them our camper. Then
back to the house for more visiting. They left around 3:30 pm. We headed out to
the bank and then over to Larry and Denise’s to talk about tomorrow. We had
planned on going to Busch Gardens but with the new virus that has come to Tampa
we think it might be better to stay away from all the people at Busch Gardens. Larry
and I plan on working for Donna on her liana tomorrow. Cheri and Denise said
that they are going shopping. The Prednisone is still working as I haven’t had any
more swelling in my hands and my shoulders feel some better. Thank you God for
blessed day with friends.

Hard to believe we are in
a new month. It was 36 degrees here this morning but warmed to a very nice day
with lots of sunshine and a very light breeze. The temp topped out in the mid
70’s. It was a normal Sunday as far as church and Sunday school goes. Pastor
Randy’s message was titled “Understanding Authority” from 1 Peter 2:13-14. Our
Sunday school lesson was titled “Compelled” from Romans 1:1-7, 13-17. The
transforming power of the gospel compels believers to share it with others.
After Sunday school we called Art and Ruby to see how they were doing because
they weren’t Sunday school today. Art was having a problem with his balance so
we stop over to their place for a visit. From there we stopped to visit with
Mike and Pam. Pam has been under the weather the last few days. It was good to
visit with them has it has been a while since we have been together. It was
around 4:30 pm when we got home. I settled in to watch the NASCAR race and
Cheri went to her sewing room. She is in the process of making new curtains for
the camper, wants them to match the bedspread she is going to use. Of course I
couldn’t see anything wrong with the ones that was already there. I guess you
ladies like to put your personal touch on things. Later Cheri fixed us our
normal Sunday pizza for supper. We watched a few more shows we had recorded
before calling it a night. Thank you God for a day spent with you and friends.

Another four years have
passed since the last February 29th. Just think about what has
happened in the last four years. It was 43 degrees this morning which was a
little better than yesterday morning. Still too cold for me plus we had a breezy
day which didn’t help. I got up this morning feeling a lot better. The
Prednisone I took last night really helped as I slept better than I have for
weeks plus I got up with no swelling in my hands and arms which made for a lot
less pain. Cheri and I still went out to the Hole-in-One donut shop for our breakfast
but was half hour later than our usual time. After breakfast we made a stop at
Lowe’s as I had a couple of things to return and needed to get some Damp Rid for
the camper. Cheri told me I wasn’t doing any work today but needed to go to the
camper to put in the Damp Rid and thought I might do some work in the camper
but was too cold. So when I got home I joined Cheri who was already in her
recliner. I tried to do some reading but fell asleep. I ended up napping the
rest of the forenoon. We watched several shows trying to get caught up on the
shows we have recorded. I still ended up napping a lot of the afternoon. Cheri
fixed us French bread loaf for supper something we haven’t had for some time.
We finished off the evening with more TV and a bowl of ice cream. Thank you God
for a restful day which we both needed.
