It was 65 degrees this morning for the walk and very foggy, turned out to be a very nice day with a high temp around 80 degrees. Cheri and I got the laundry started this morning. Cheri finished working with the laundry and some housework. I headed out to pick up my medications at the pharmacy and a stop at Rural King to pick up some dried soup made by Bear Creek. We used to buy it at Menards up north. The first time I have seen it down here. Maybe the real reason I went to Rural King was for the free popcorn.  On the way home I stopped and checked Kacey’s house. When I got home I worked on taking down the outside Christmas lights. I got the step ladder in the house to get Cheri’s Christmas containers down so she can start putting away all the Christmas decorations which will take a couple of days. Late this afternoon we made a trip to Lakeland to have dinner at Harry’s Seafood Bar and Grill. Cheri had a ribeye steak and I had the tender loin, another excellent meal. It is still our favorite place to eat. When we got home we settled in for an evening of TV watching Northwoods Law. Thank you God for blessing us with a beautiful day.

It was 62 degrees this morning and only needed a long sleeve shirt because it was foggy. Cheri was busy with housework and I went over to Donna’s to finish the skirting project. I was done by noon and happy to have that project done. It was really more than I am able do anymore. So it was a good lesson for me to say no to bigger jobs. After lunch I went to Lowe’s to return some materials I didn’t need and also to Advanced Auto to make a return. When I got home I headed for the shower and then to the recliner where Cheri was already reading. I read a little and napped before supper. Cheri made a ham casserole from the leftover ham for supper. It was really good and had to have a second serving. This evening I went out for security with Dennis all was quiet and nice to see the Christmas lights, some already have been taken down. When I got home Cheri finished watching a Hallmark movie and then we watched more episodes of North Woods Law and When big things go Wrong. Thank you God for blessed day. I forgot to take a picture of the finished shirting project but looked like the starting picture without the bowling.

It was 59 degrees this morning for the walk and no wind. I left the house at 6:15 am heading to Dade City for my accountability group breakfast and Bible Study. We are still in Romans chapter 8, some heavy stuff to understand. So happy to have Charlie Rodgers to explain it to us. It was around 9:00 am when I got home. Cheri had slept in and was just finishing breakfast. I headed to the bathroom shaving and getting ready to face the day. I headed back to Donna Perkins house skirting project. I thought I would be able to finish it today. But I quit at 4:00 pm as I wasn’t able to work anymore today. Thankful that I had the help of Dennis. The hot shower felt good on the sore muscles. I tried to read some before supper but that didn’t last long before I was napping. Cheri was busy with housework and made a batch of chocolate chip cookies for me. She fixed what I think was the last of the chicken casserole for supper. We watched Northwest Law and When big things go Wrong. Thank you God for guiding us through this day keeping us healthy and safe.

Hope to finish tomorrow.

It has been a bigger project than I thought it would be.

It was another warm 53 degrees this morning. Cheri was busy with housework and deboning the ham we took for Christmas dinner. So we will have ham for a few meals and I think Cheri even froze some of it. I worked over at Donna Perkins doing the house skirting project. Dennis helped me, had good day getting the siding off and building a new support system. The landscaper over the years put too much gravel next to the house and caved in the skirting. It took a while to get all the stone and gravel away from the house skirting. After lunch Dennis and I went to Lowe’s to get the material we needed. By 3:30 pm we were at a stopping point which was a good thing as I was done for the day. Couldn’t wait to get home and get in the shower which helped make me feel better. Cheri fixed us left over casserole for supper. Larry and Denise came over to play cards, everybody was a winner tonight, I guess it also means everyone was a looser. Thank you God for a blessed day helping us through this day.

Skirting project before we started.

You can see where it is caved in.

Some of the new support system is built

It was 54 degrees this morning for the walk. Church was a half hour later as only one service today at 10:00 am. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “Jesus - Life of the World” from 1 John 5:11-13. We didn’t have Sunday school today so we were back home with our pizza at 11:45 am. Cheri watched a couple of Hallmark movies while I read and watched the Bucks football game in the bed room. For supper we had the Philly steak sandwich we got with the pizza. This evening we watched a couple of episodes of Homestead Rescue. Thank you God for time spent with you and friends.

Praying everyone received the good news about Jesus and celebrate Christmas with the correct sprit. I did my morning walk and the weather was pretty much the same as yesterday. Cheri and I got the ham in the crockpot this morning to take lover to Larry and Denise’s. We left the house at 1:15 pm and headed to Larry and Denise’s to help before everyone got there but they had everything ready. There were ten of us for dinner at 2:00 pm. No one went away hungry. After dinner it was time for visiting and playing cards. It was around 6:30 pm when we got home. We put the leftover ham in the refrigerator and will take care of it tomorrow. I settled in to watch the Green Bay Packer football game while Cheri read. A little later we got a call from Darren, Wyatt, and Brooke. We got to have a lot of face time with Wyatt as he showed us and told us all the things he got for Christmas. Later we didn’t hear anything from Kari so we called her and had a visit with her. Thank you God for a blessed day with family and friends.

The temp this morning for the walk was 43 degrees and no wind. We got the bedding laundry started before breakfast. After I got cleaned up I headed out to pick up Cheri’s meds. When I got back I worked on reassembling the golf cart charger. I thought about doing some work on the golf cart but my hands were cold. So I went in the house and worked on setting up my Kindle. Things went pretty good but have to work on some of the other things, waiting for the book that will help us with other things we can do with the Kindles. Cheri fixed us a grilled cheese sandwich along with chips and Christmas cookies and candy for lunch. We left the house at 5:30 pm to attend the candle light service. It was close to 7:30 pm when we got home. I was hungry because we left without any supper. Not wanting to eat late we had an English muffin with peanut butter and jelly. I don’t remember what all we watched on TV as it was a mixture of shows we don’t normally watch. Thank you God for helping us through this day and celebrating your birth with friends.

It was 42 degrees this morning with a breeze for the morning walk. Cheri and I went out for breakfast at the village Inn. It was very pricey at 26 dollars and change for a normal breakfast of eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast, and coffee. We could have driven to Dade City and had breakfast and paid for the gas to get there and back much cheaper. Cheri was busy with laundry and other house work. I headed over to Donna Perkins to check out her house skirting which needs to be repaired. She had some guys come and look at it and gave her a price on it and said that it needed to be replaced and couldn’t use the same skirting has she has because of the rules in the park and was going to have to use cement stacked blocks with a pored footing which will cost several thousand dollars. So after checking it out I will be able to repair what is there without having to put in something new. It is one of the them projects that I was going to do anymore. Larry and Denise came over and Denise set up the Fitbit that our neighbor gave Cheri. So I took Larry over to see the skirting project and between the two of us came up with a good repair for it. This afternoon Dennis and I went over to finish the deadbolt project. The rest of the afternoon was spent reading and did have a nap. Cheri fixed a new recipe called Chicken Parmesan Pasta. It was ok but nothing special and have at lease two more days of it. This evening we watched North Woods Law and When Big Things Go Wrong. Thank you God for helping us through this day keeping us healthy and safe.

I guess our winter weather has arrived as it was 47 degrees this morning for the walk. After breakfast and getting cleaned up for the day I headed and put the new relay in the golf cart charger and now that is working again. The rest of my morning was spent in the recliner reading. Cheri got her morning work done and spent time with her new Kindle, already down loaded a book she bought off Amazon. We headed out a 11:30 am for church. After church we went to Tina & Joe’s new cafe in Zephyrhills. We had a. problem getting seated as we had to wait and several people went in and got seated ahead of us. We finally went back in and they forgot that we were waiting outside where they told us to wait. Then since they just opened they had run out of several things which made it hard for us to order. The food we got was very good. Because of the waiting problem Tina came and told us there was no charge for our meal. So we left happy that they took care of their mistake. Yes, we will go back again. It was near 3:00 pm when we got home so there wasn’t any supper. Cheri called her sister Sandy and visited for an hour with her. I read and had a nap. Out evening was watching Dateline and some home improvement shows. Thank you God for time spent with you today.

I didn’t think I would be walking this morning as it was raining before I got up. I checked the weather map and see there was a clearing here so I headed out for the walk. Well, I just got in the door from the walk and it started to rain. It rained on and off all forenoon and received 3/4 inch. I left the house at 6:15 am heading out for my accountability group breakfast and Bible study. Our study was the first part of Romans chapter 8. We went to pick up Larry and Denise at 10:30 am to go to Sam’s Club. Larry couldn’t go as he was helping a friend with an electrical problem. So it was me with two ladies. The main reason for going was to pick up a ham for Christmas dinner but they were out of them. I was worried we wouldn’t get one but found them at Publix’s. We had a late lunch when we got home while watching some TV. Cheri’s Kindle came this afternoon so took some time setting it up, hard when you don’t know what you are doing. We did get something set up. I ordered a book for dummies and seniors on to set up the Kindle, so will have to wait for the rest of setup. We had soup and crackers for supper. This evening we went over to Larry and Denise’s to play cards. Larry and I were the winners. The first game was close and a lot of fun but second game was a blow out and not that much fun. Thank you God for a blessed day keeping us healthy and safe.

It was 63 degree for the morning walk. After our normal morning of breakfast, coffee, Bible study, and exercises with headed out to Big Lots as Cheri saw in the advertisement that they had Kindle Pillow stands. But they were too big, but manage to find some other things. Then we headed to Tampa to pick up a part for the golf cart that is supposed to get rid of the noise it makes. We stopped a Winn Dixie for some groceries. We had a late lunch when we got home. Just got through with lunch when Dennis called and wanted me to install a dead bolt lock on their fiends door. After getting the hole made there were pieces missing from the lock so I have to wait for a new lock. Got home just in time to get cleaned up before Dennis and Sue  picked us up to go out for supper. We decide to go to Arby’s as it has been a few years since we were last there. After going there I now remember why we don’t go there. This evening we watched Dateline along with some other shows we had recorded. Thank you God for building us through this day.

It was another wonderful morning for the walk, don’t know how much longer we are going to have this great weather but enjoying it. Cheri was up early this morning to get the candy and cookies packed up to take to Sunday school. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “Jesus-The Light of the World!” from John 8:12. Our Sunday school lesson was titled “Judges” from Ezekiel 20:1-14. God judges those who reject Him as Lord. Charlie our Sunday school teacher couldn’t be here today. So I filled in with the announcements and prayers. Dwight Loomis did the lesson. There were cookie and candy to be had and then a cookie and candy exchange. After Sunday school we took some cookies and candy over to Art and Ruby’s and had a nice visit with them. It was after 2:00 pm when we got home. We settled in with some leftover salad from last night and watched a HallMark movie. After the movie it was time to watch the Packers football game. I only got to watch the first half before it was time to go over to Donna Perkins for pizza and ice cream along with some of her fiends. It was after 8:00 pm when we got home. Cheri went to bed to watch TV and I went to my recliner to watch the rest of the Packer game which they won. Then I watched the first half of the Bucks game, couldn’t stay awake to watch the whole game. Thank you God for time spent with you and friends today.

I had to wear a long sleeve shirt for my morning walk with Dennis. When we walk we alway come back by our house. Well, this morning when we came around the corner my truck was running. I have remote starting on the truck but the remote was in the house. Don’t know what happened to make it start up. The good thing is that it will only run for 10 minutes before shutting off. I have had it start up before but it was because I had the remote in my pocket and have bumped into something to make it start. I went out and did an electrical project here in our park today. I also did more work on dismantling the golf cart. Cheri was busy making cookies today along with doing the bed laundry which we normally do on Friday. This evening we were invited out for dinner at Skip and Joy’s along with Dick and Linda part of our date day group. It was a good time visiting. It was 9:00 pm when we got home and was ready for bed where we watched some TV before calling it a night. Thank you God for a blessed day.

More done on the cart.

The temp for the morning walk was still in the low 60’s, we have had some great weather for December. Cheri and I headed to Dade City to have breakfast at the Black Eyed Pea, so that was our outing for the day. Cheri spent the whole day making Christmas candy and a seven layer salad. I worked on the golf cart until noon. After lunch I did some internet searching for parts for the golf cart. I even went to the golf cart dealer and didn’t have the part that I was looking for. With their help I located the part at a dealer down and Tampa but they are open on Saturday, so it will be a Monday trip. The Kindles we ordered came this afternoon. They were the wrong ones and as it turned out I had ordered the wrong ones. So I boxed them up and took the to the UPS to have them returned. That is one thing I like about Amazon, they make it easy for returns. I did order the right Kindles and supposed to be here Monday. This evening Larry and Denise came over to play cards. After loosing six straight games, Larry and I won both game tonight. Thank you God for a blessed day helping through this day keeping us healthy and safe.

Ready to start working on the cart.

It was 62 degree again this morning but felt colder this morning, maybe more humidity in the air. We got the laundry started first thing this morning. Cheri had a 9:00 am appointment for a haircut and then stopped and got groceries. She was back before I headed out to work over at Donna’s. Worked on a shed door and some siding repair. I also stopped by Kacey’s to check her house as its been a couple of weeks since I was last there. After lunch we got a call from Pat and Roger wishing us a Merry Christmas, had a good visit with them. Cheri worked on getting the Christmas letter in the computer so I could e-mail it out today. Our off the air CBS channel was back on dish today. Felt bad that we missed the final episode of Survivor. I will have to see if I can get it on demand. For supper Cheri fixed a frozen bag of shrimp scampi that I picked up and wasn’t very good. This evening we watched several episodes of Northwest Law before calling it a nigh and we both napped through some of them. Thank you God for helping us through this day.

It was 62 degrees this morning and breezy for the morning walk. After breakfast and getting cleaned up for the day I headed to the recliner and napped until it was time to leave at 11:30 am for church. I just can’t seem to get enough sleep. Cheri was busy with house work this mooning. After church we went to have a late lunch at Tina and Joe’s new cafe, still not open. They are opening tomorrow, Tina showed us around as it is an old house with tables and chairs in every room. From there we stopped at the library to our library cards so we can check out books on our new Kindle when they arrive Friday. Then a stop at Ollie’s where Cheri bought seven new books. Then we headed to DQ as they have a lunch special with a sundae and can only use the drive through as the dinning isn’t open. So we ended up at Jersey Mikes for subs to take home. We watch a show while having our late lunch and early supper. After lunch I napped while Cheri watched a movie. CBS has been removed from the Dish Network so we are missing all the shows we watch, not happy. Do you think they will reduce our monthly bill? (Not) I searched for something else to watch on TV but didn’t fine anything that was interesting. Thank you God for a relaxing day and time spent with you.

It was 63 degrees for the walk this morning. I left the house 5:45 am heading for my accountability group breakfast and Bible study. I left early because I was making pancakes and sausage for breakfast along with coffee with the help of Bill McCaffery. There were seven of us and all went well for breakfast. We finished up Romans chapter seven and the first part of chapter eight. Cheri was busy working when I got home. After I got cleaned up I did some work on the computer. After lunch we went to see Rick and Gloria Thrash. Rick had fallen and broke both knee caps. He is doing some better but not able to bend his knees. Cheri fixed more hotdogs and potato salad for supper. We went over to Larry and Denis’s to play cards and the girls won both games, they now have won six straight games. Thank you God for a blessed day and spending time with friends.

Sorry I am late this morning as I had an early appointment and couldn’t get the blog done before I left, so here it is. It was 66 degrees for the morning walk with Dennis. Cheri was busy with her Monday’s house work. I had a 10:30 doctor’s appointment this morning and didn’t get into a room until 11:30 am and then waited another half hour before the doctor came in. Ten minutes later I was done. So I waited and hour and a half for a ten minute visit. Well, the good thing I am still alive and kicking. It was 12:30 pm when I got home. Cheri fixed us lunch and watched a TV show while having it. The rest of our afternoon  was reading and napping. Cheri made potato salad to have for supper along with hotdogs. It was a normal evening of recorded TV shows. Thank you God for helping us through this day keeping us healthy and safe.

It was 62 degrees for the walk this morning. Cheri was up early this morning to get the fruit cut up for Sunday school and the cake ready to go. We left for church at 9:00 am. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “Grace and the Covenants” from Galatians 4:21-5:1. Our Sunday school lesson was titled “Saves” from Ezekiel 11:2-4, 14-21. God    offers hope in the midst of judgment to those who trust in Him. We stay for a while after Sunday school to visit and getting the information I need for next Sunday as I will be doing the announcements and prayers for Sunday school. We ordered our pizza and picked it up on the way home. We settled in with the pizza and a movie. I couldn’t get into the movie so after the pizza I read my novel and finished that before the football game started. Cheri watched more movies and I went to the bedroom to watch the Bucks win their game with Buffalo. Then watched the Packers win their game with Chicago. It was midnight when the game got over, Cheri even watched the whole game with me. Thank you God for time spent with you and church friends.

It was another 64 degree morning with no fog for the walk. It was a busy day for Cheri. She went grocery shopping and making food to take for Sunday school tomorrow. I went back to work on the neighbors golf cart batteries and managed to burn out my 12 volt charger as lot of smoke came out of it. I decided the batteries were too far gone to bring them back. It is sad because if they had taken care of them they would still be good now. After lunch I went over to Mike and Pam’s to install the voltage converter and voltage inverter on their golf cart so they can display Christmas lights. I got it done just in time as tomorrow night is there golf cart parade. Cheri fixed us the last of the lasagna for supper. Larry and Denise picked us up at 5:45 pm to do the Walk Through Bethlehem at a local church. We have done it before but it was several years ago. Normally we would have played cards afterwards but I was too tired and exhausted. We went to bed early and watched a little TV there.

It was a 65 degree morning with no wind or fog, very nice morning walk with Dennis. I got the bedding in the washer, something we do every Friday. Today we made the bed with the new sheets that Cheri bought. I went over to the neighbors to put water in the golf cart batteries and check the voltage which should be at 48 volts and I checked and it was at 1.4 volts. I put my charger on two of the batteries and it kept kicking out but after a while it started to charge. I had plugged in my golf cart before going to the neighbors and when I came home mine wasn’t working, depressing as I had just repaired it a few week ago and was working fine. I took it apart and seems to be the same relay that I replaced before. Cheri told be she would like a Kindle for Christmas and not knowing any thing about them. So we went to see Ron and Sandy as they both have them and to have them tell us about how to use them. We also went to Culver’s for lunch and then back to their place to visit. When we got home I went back to check the neighbors batteries and it was still charging. Disconnected the charger for the night and will go back tomorrow to start it again.  We had leftover lasagna for supper. We watched the Chicago shows this evening along with Tough as Nails. Oh yes I order two Kindles for us and should be here just before Christmas. Thank you God for helping us through this day and tine spent with friends.

It was another warm morning walk but very foggy again. It was a normal morning with breakfast, coffee, and Bible study. Cheri does her exercises and Bible study. After all that it time to do some work. Today was laundry day I start the laundry and Cheri finishes it. The only thing I did today was plug in our golf cart to charge the batteries. Our neighbor wanted me to check out their golf cart as the batteries wouldn’t take a charge. It has been a year since they have used it. The first thing I did was check the batteries and they where bone dry. I told them to get some distilled water and I would fill them and then see if they will take a charge. The rest of the day was reading and napping. Cheri fixed us lasagna and Texas toast for supper. This evening we watched some recorded shows and all I remember is some home improvement shows and Alaska Last Frontier. Thank you God for helping us through this day.

I have made a decision that as long as I am not working anymore and not traveling I really don’t have any thing to write about. So my last blog will be December 31st. I started the blog back in 2005 and pretty much wrote everyday so out children could follow us as we travel full time for eight years.

It was 67 degrees for the walk this morning. Cheri made us French toast, bacon, and juice for breakfast. We watched a bit of local news while eating and having our coffee. Cheri worked on the Wednesday housework. I went outside and cleaned the bugs off the car and truck and then took them through the car wash. After that was done it was time to get cleaned up and leave for noon church. After church we stopped and got some milk. Then home for a late lunch. The rest of the afternoon was spent reading and napping. This evening Larry and Denise came over to play cards. Once again Denice and Cheri won the card games by a huge amount. Thank you God for taking care of us today and spending time with you and friends.

Please take time to remember what Japan did to us 80 years ago that got us into a war where we lost many lives. It was a warm 62 degrees for the morning walk, so nice to have Dennis back to walk with. I left the house at 6:15 am heading to Dade City for my accountability group breakfast and Bible study. There were seven of us this morning and studied the first part of Romans chapter seven. It was a little after 9:00 am when I got home. Cheri was already busy with the Tuesday housework and then made a batch of chocolate chip cookies. I went over to Mike and Pams to instal a power inverter in their golf cart so they can display Christmas lights. I needed 12 volts DC for the input to the inverter but their cart has eight volt batteries and can’t get the 12 volts I need without a voltage converter. So we sat and visited for a while. When I got home it was lunch time and Cheri was just finishing with cookies. After lunch I ordered the voltage converter and then to the recliner to rest, read, and nap. Cheri fixed leftovers for supper. Then settled in to watch TV shows we had recorded. Thank you God for a blessed day.

It was another foggy morning for my walk, 56 degrees. I left the house at 8:15 am heading downtown fo a haircut. When I got home Cheri was busy with Monday housework. I did some computer work and then read my book. After an early lunch we left the house at 12:00 pm heading to the Tampa airport to pick up Dennis and Sue. We took our books along with us so we could read while waiting for them to come. We got them hone around 3:00 pm. They wanted to go out for supper as they didn’t have any food in the house. So we picked them up at 5:00 pm and went to Jersey Mike’s for subs. When we got home we settled in to watch a Hallmark movie or should say Cheri watched the movie as I slept through it. We went to bed early and watched some TV there before calling it a night. Thank you God for taking care of and giving us safe travels.

I didn’t walk this morning. I did get up at my normal time but just didn’t feel like walking and went back to bed. I finally got up at 6:00 am. We left at 9:00 am for church. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “A Personal Plea” from Galatians 4:12-20. Our Sunday school lesson was titled “Commissioned” from Ezekiel 3:8-21. God calls people to consistently proclaim His truth. On the way home we ordered our Domino’s pizza to pick up. The rest of the afternoon was a movie, football, and napping. We just had a snack for supper. We watched another movie, Dateline, and home improvement shows. Thank you God for time spent with you and church friends.

It was 52 degrees for the morning walk. I left the house at 6:00 am heading to Dade City to have breakfast with a couple of church friends. After breakfast we went to the church Sunday school building to pick up the tables and chairs to take them to Sharon and Bill’s for our Sunday school Christmas party this evening. When I got home I visited with Cheri as she was finishing her breakfast. I got cleaned up and left at 11:15 am to take Donna Perkins daughter Kathy to the airport. It was around 1:30 pm when I got home. We had a late lunch while watching some TV. We turned off the TV and both napped for over an hour. Then it was time to get ready to head out for the Christmas party. We had a good time and were 34 of us, a lot of good food. After the party was over we guys loaded the tables and chairs and returned them back to the Sunday school building getting them set up for tomorrow. Cheri and I were both tired and went right to bed when we bot home. Thank you God for a blessed day and spending time with friends.

I had another good walk this morning, sure is lonely without Dennis. They will be back on Monday. We got the laundry going this morning and after the washing and drying we got the bed made. We left the house at 9:50 am heading to Wesley Chapel to have the car serviced. It took a lot longer to get it done as we had the transmission fluid changed. We stopped at Applebee’s to have lunch, so no supper tonight. On the way home we stopped at Wesley Chapel Wal-Mart. It was really busy and took a while to get checked out. Never understand why they have so many checkouts and only a few open, a lot of people waiting. When we got home Cheri worked on getting the cranberry salad made for the Christmas party. I went over to Donna Perkins to see what time we needed to leave in the morning to take Kathy to the airport. This evening we went over to Larry and Denise’s to play cards and the girls were the big winners. Thank you God for helping us through this day.

I got my 2 mile plus walk in again this morning, 51 degrees and I was over dressed, got hot before I was done. We got the laundry started this morning and then headed out to the flea market. I had to buy a bag of kettle corn, been a couple of years since I last had any. We also bought some books. On the way home we stopped at Kacey’s to put the stickers on her house and car. After lunch we went over to Mike and Pam’s for a visit. It has been a long time since we were together. It was after 4:00 pm when we got home. Cheri fixed us a hamburger and fries for supper. This evening we watched a home improvement show, Homestead Rescue, and Life Below Zero before calling it a night. Thank you God for a relaxing day and time spent with friends.

Wow! Another month has gone. My morning walk was good but long as no one to talk with while walking. This morning Cheri was busy with her house work and me on the computer. We left the house at 11:30 am heading to church. Pastor Randy message was about Psalms 59, He makes it so easy to understand what King David wrote. We were supposed to go and see friends after church but they weren’t feeling well so that got canceled. We did stop and got the new house stickers and also house stickers and license plate sticker for Kacey Barker as she is still in Michigan. From there we headed back to Zephyrhills with a stop at Jersey Mikes for sub sandwiches for a late lunch an early supper. I got a call form a party here in our park that wanted me to remove an ADT alarm system which didn’t take very long. My afternoon nap stretched into the evening while Cheri watched a couple of movies. We thought we had several shows to watch but they were repeats. We did watch a home improvement show, Survivor, Tough as Neils, and NCIS. Thank you God for time spent with you and keeping us safe and healthy.

It was colder at 41 degrees for the morning walk. I left the house at 6:20 am heading to Dade City for my accountability group breakfast and Bible Study. There were seven of us this morning and finished Romans chapter six. On the way home I stopped at Lowe’s to get some table leg protectors to keep from scratching the floor. Then a stop to fill the car with gas. While was there I got a call from Dennis and Sue telling me their son had just passed away and wanted me to take them to the airport at 10:45 am. So I headed home and got cleaned up while Cheri was doing the Tuesday house work. I already had to go to the airport today to pick up Kathy Willis (Donna Perkins Daughter) at 1:30 pm. So after we dropped of Dennis and Sue we went to the cell phone lot to wait for Kathy to come in. We dropped off Kathy and stayed for a visit with her and Donna. It was around 3:30 pm when we got home. Because we missed lunch Cheri fixed us pancakes for an early supper. This evening Larry and Denise came over to play cards, Larry and I were the winner tonight. After they left we went to bed and watched a little TV before calling it a night. Thank you God for blessed day with friends and safe travels

I have extended my morning walk and am now up to just over two miles. It was a warmer morning around 51 degrees. Cheri was busy with house work and going for groceries. I worked out side doing a Honey Due project and some more work in the shop area. By noon I had done all I felt like doing. This afternoon read and napped. At 4:00 pm we went over Donna Perkins to for a visit. When we got home Cheri fixed us BQ pork on toast for supper. Cheri watched more Hallmark movies while I read. We went to bed around 9:00 pm and watched AFV before calling it a night. Thank you God for keeping us healthy and safe.

It was another good walk with Dennis and no wind. We left the house at 9:00 am heading to Dade City for church. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “Growing up into Grace” from  Galatians 4:1-11. Our Sunday school lesson was titled “Restoration” from Philemon. Believers forgive others since they too have been forgiven. Normally after Sunday school we order pizza and an Italian sandwich from Domino’s. Today we ordered the same pizza but a Philly cheese steak sandwich. We settled in with the pizza while watching a Hallmark movie. After the pizza I napped while Cheri watched the movie. When it was over I watched the Tampa Bay Bucks football and Cheri read. After the football game Cheri watched another Hallmark movie while I read.  After that movie it was time for me to watch the Green Bay Packer game which they won. After that was over it was time to called it a night. Thank you God for time spent with you and friends today.

It was 47 degrees this morning and no wind for a nice walk. I was able to walk farther this morning with very little back pain. Cheri worked on getting the rest of her Christmas decoration put out and then we got all the container put away. I did some computer work this morning. We left the house at 11:20 am to pick up Lou Kerwood and took her out for lunch. She is in the process of moving to Brooksville to live with her sister. Tuesday will be her last day here as she will be closing on selling of her house. When we got home Cheri continued doing her Saturday work and ironing. I went over to the neighbor’s where I had installed their new kitchen to pick up my cabinet door and drawer template. I had a nice visit with them. On the way back Mike was out and stopped to visit with him. When I got home Cheri and I sat down to watch a movie but I slept through two movies before waking up to watch the Wisconsin Badger football game that they lost. We didn’t have any supper because of the big lunch. With all the reruns we are running out of things to watch on TV. Thank you God for helping us through this day.

The tree is up.

Again the temp for the morning walk was in the low 50”s and no wind. Cheri and I went out for breakfast at Sunrise Eatery. After breakfast we made a stop at the pharmacy to pick up meds and then a stop at Walgreens for some things we needed. When we got home Cheri and I got all the Christmas decorations down and the tree and set up. Now Cheri will be spending a couple days with decorations. I worked outside. I put a new cabin filter in the car and also a new air filter. I got our grill we bought well over a year ago set and ready to use. Taking a long time for me to get things done. I also started the generator and let that run for a while. I went Lowe’s and bought 4 pails of DamRid for Kacey’s house. Later this afternoon Larry and Denise brought back the truck as their car as been repaired. Cheri fixed us pork and gravy over toast for supper. This evening we went over to Larry and Denise’s to play cards and the girls were the big winners tonight. Thank you God for a blessed day.

Our Christmas lights are up.

I wish all had a very happy and blessed thanksgiving. The temp was in the low 50’s this morning and no wind making for a wonderful walk. Cheri worked on putting away all of her fall decorations and is ready for me to get the Christmas things out of storage for her. I worked on getting some Christmas lights up outside. I got the new relay I order for the golf cart battery charger. I installed it and the charger now works. I spent $15.00 for the relay and saved over $200.00 not having to buy a new charger. This afternoon we picked up Larry and Denise as we were invited to have dinner at Dick and Linda. There were 14 of us for dinner. Dick and Linda prepared the whole meal and didn’t want us to bring anything. We had ham with all the trimmings. They had pumpkin and apple pie along with candy and cookies for dessert. We all visited for a while and then we guys retired to the living room to watch football while the ladies cleaned up the kitchen. Dick also played some Christmas songs on the organ. When we got home we received a call from our daughter Nikki wishing us a happy thanksgiving and a good visit. We went to bed early as we were both tired and watched some TV there. Thank you God for all the fiends we are blessed with.

It was 43 degrees this morning with a stiff wind for the walk, the wind made it for a cold walk. Cheri was busy with Wednesday house work and putting a pork loin in the crockpot to have for supper. I did some computer work as I am having a problem with PayPal returning only $4.48 of a $68.46 refund I am due. It shows on my PayPal account that it has been retuned. I messaged them and now waiting for a message back from them. They said that it would be within a couple of hours but by the end of the day I still haven’t heard anything. We left the house at 11:30 am heading to Dade City for church. Pastor Randy message was on Psalms 57. After we got home and having lunch we got a call from Larry and Denise that their car was broke down, need a new alternator and battery. I went to pick them up and then to Lakeland car dealership as the parts and labor should be covered with their warranty, but was told that their Canadian warranty wasn’t good here in the US. So they will have to call back home to get an authorization to have it fixed here. The pork loin that Cheri fixed was excellent and along with fresh green beans fixed with garlic and Parmesan cheese, then a piece of lemon pie for dessert. We had trouble staying awake to watch TV so we went to bed early. Thank you God for time spent with you today and able to help good friends.

When I woke up this morning and looked at the clock it was 4:18 am. I hurried around when I got dressed and looked at the clock again and it was 3:30 am. Too late to go back to bed so I had extra quiet time with God. I had another good walk this morning and less pain in the back.  Cheri and I went over to Lou Kerwood’s for a visit and to install the new battery in her key fob. Then got a call from Larry and Denise wanting to know if we wanted to go to Costco with them as they are looking for a new computer. On the way we stopped at Best Buy so they could check on computers there. Cheri went to Bed, Bath and Beyond to buy new sheets for our bed to replace the ones I order wrong. When we were at Costco Larry and Denise bought an Apple computer along with other things. Cheri and I bought a few groceries, sure was a lot people there. When we got done shopping we had a hot dog and drunk before leaving the store. When we got home Cheri started putting the groceries away and Dennis came to ask me to come and look at their bathroom faucet as it would squeak when turning it on and off. We took it apart and cleaned up and back together and that took care of the problem. When I got home I settled in to read but ended up taking a nap. Larry and Denise came over to play cards this evening and we were all winners. Thank you God for a blessed day.

I was pretty soar for my morning walk, think it was from the work on the sink and plumbing yesterday. We left for church at 9:00 am. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “Law or Christ?” from Galatians 3:23-29. Our Sunday school lesson was titled “The Gospel and Relationships” from Colossians 3:18-4:6. Believers live and relate differently as a result of the gospel. On the way to Zephyrhills we ordered our pizza from Domino’s so it was ready when we got there. We settled in with the pizza and watched FBI Most Wanted. Then it was time to watch the Green Bay Packer game that I was recording. But caught up to live TV at halftime. So we watched an episode of Dateline and then went back to the football game which they lost. For supper we just snacked because of the pizza for a late lunch. We watched Magnum and some home improvement shows before calling it a night. Thank you God for time spent with you and church friends.

I had a good walk this morning and not much trouble with the back. Cheri and Denise went to a craft fair here in our park this morning. I left the house at 9:00 am to remove a  kitchen sink for Dennis and Sue as they got a new farm house sink. Some friends were coming tomorrow to do the install and plumbing. Well as it turned out I did the whole project. I had to do a lot of cutting to make it fit as the cabinets in these houses are not a full 24 inches deep. Long story short and two trips to Lowe’s for parts it was 4:00 pm when I got done. At 4:30 pm Dennis and Sue picked us up to go out for supper at Culver’s. This evening Cheri read while I watched the Wisconsin Badger football game which I thought they were going to loose but in the end they pulled out a win. Thank you God for helping us through this day keeping us healthy and safe.

It was a very nice cool morning for the walk, It was a beautiful day and I felt really good today. Cheri and I left the house at 8:00 am and headed to Brooksville to have breakfast at Florida Cracker Kitchen, one of our favorite places to eat. After breakfast we took a long ride out through the country side heading home. Cheri was busy with laundry and her Friday housework. I went outside and worked on doing some cleaning in my work area. I actually got a work bench cleaned off and a few things put away, at lease I can now walk in there. Later I worked on the golf cart battery charger. When I got the golf cart I knew the charger didn’t work. I got on line and found a wiring diagram for it and did some testing and think I found a bad relay, so went on line and ordered a new relay. Lou Kerwood called me this afternoon as she had a few things to give me. She also has a problem with the car fob and I need to get a new battery for it. Cheri fixed us a ribeye steak and baked potato for supper. This evening we went over to Larry and Denise’s to play cards. Larry and I were the winners this evening and now the girls have won three games and we guys have won three games. Thank you God for a blessed day and helping us have a good day.

I walked the same distance as I walked yesterday. We had a misty rain this afternoon most of the night. After breakfast Cheri and I headed out at 9:00 am to Save A Lot for some groceries as they had some good buys on sale things. At 11:45 am we headed over to Tampa County to have lunch with Bob and Ida Mae Conover, church friends. They both have health issues and aren’t able to be out and about. We had a good visit with them. Only home for a short time before it was time to leave for the Prime Timers Thanks Giving church dinner. I would guess there were around 50 or 60 people. It was a good time and was home around 7:10 pm. We settled in and read some and a little TV before calling it a night. Thank you God for time spent with friends today.

I headed out for my morning walk at 5:10 am, I got my walking up to 3/4 of a mile, so far so good with the back. Cheri was busy all day making cranberry salad to take to the Prime Timers dinner tomorrow and making a batch of chocolate chip cookies for me. I read some and took a nap this forenoon. After lunch I headed to Tampa VA for my eye appointment, all is good and was back by 2:15 pm. I did some more reading and another nap. Cheri fixed us something like sloppy joe on garlic Texas toast with melted cheese on top for supper. The evening was watching recorded shows, nice that we don’t have to watch the commercials. Thank you God for a blessed day keeping safe and healthy.

It was another cold morning for the walk. I left the house at 6:15 am for my accountability group breakfast and Bible study. We studied the first part of Romans chapter 5. There were 11 of us today. Our Sunday school ladies were doing a thank you lunch for the church food pantry volunteers and we set up the tables and chairs after our Bible study for the ladies. Cheri was busy cleaning floors when I got home. I did a little computer work this morning. Cheri left at 10:45 am to help with the food pantry lunch. It was after 1:30 pm when she got home. She even brought me a plate of food to have for supper. I thought I had an exhaust leak in the truck so was crawling around under it but couldn’t find any leak. This evening Larry and Denise came over to play Hand, Knee, and Foot. It wasn’t a good night was us guys as Cheri and Denise won both games, still a lot of fun. Thank you God for a blessed day keeping us healthy and safe.

It was 43 degrees for the walk this morning, Cheri and I headed out to Wal-Mart at 9:00 am to get ahead of all the people but the parking lot was pretty full when we got there. Usually there isn’t many people that early. I got a call from Lou Kerwood that she had a light bulb she needed changed. So went over and did that and had a cup of coffee and visit with her. I also got a call from Kacey Barker and said that she had fallen and broke her arm and won’t be back until sometime in December. She asked me to look at her walk in tub that the water drain shuts off when the tub is training. She doesn’t have the manual or any information on it. So I went over to find out what make the tub is and then did an internet search to see if I could find a manual on line. I found out that the drain stem could be adjusted so it would open farther. It was later in the afternoon when I got done. After my shower and getting cleaned up I headed to the recliner to read where Cheri joined me. This evening we picked up Dennis and Sue and went out for supper at Chipotle’s which just opened up a week ago. It was ok but on the pricey side. We did learn that if we go back we would spit a meal and still have enough to eat. When we got home we settled in to watch a little TV. We went to bed early as I couldn’t stay awake to watch TV. Thank you God for helping us through this day.

It was 47 degree when I left at 5:10 am for my morning walk and was able to walk a little farther this morning. Because I am not walking the whole route I meet Dennis in a different place. We left the house at 9:00 am heading to church. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “Do this in remembrance of me” from Luke 22:19. After his message we had the Lords Supper. Our Sunday school lesson was titled “The Gospel Lived” from Colossians 3:1-17. Believers are to reflect Christlike character in their daily lives. Last Sunday we had 37 for Sunday school, don’t know how many had today but think it was more than last Sunday. We ordered pizza and pick it up on the way home. We settled in to watch a movie while having our pizza. After the movie I watched the Bucks football game that they lost and then the Packers football game which they won. No supper as we just snacked because of having the pizza for a late lunch. After the games we watched Dateline and called it a night. Thank you God for time spent with you and friends.

I managed to walk again this morning, about the same distance as yesterday. Cheri was busy with some ironing and cleaning out her closet. I got a call this morning from Dennis and said that the bathroom exhaust fan quit working. So I went over and checked it out and had to get a new motor for it. Dennis took me to get the fan motor as he also wanted to go to Lowe’s to pick up some landscape stones. After fixing the fan I headed home and trimmed the mums as they are done blooming, hoping if I trim them back that maybe they will bloom again. After lunch I settled in to watch the Wisconsin Badger football game while Cheri read and napped. We had leftover chicken noodle soup for supper. This evening we watched some shows we had recorded. Thank you God for helping us through this day.

I tried walking this morning and went better than I thought it would. I met Dennis and walk a ways with him, sure felt good getting out to walk as its been several months since I last walked. Cheri was busy with making us French toast for breakfast, laundry, ironing, and making chicken noodle soup in the crockpot to have for supper. I did a little work on the computer and then spent the rest of the day in my recliner We had the soup for supper and was ok but nothing special, it was a new recipe and Cheri said that she wouldn’t make it again. This evening we went over to Larry and Denise’s to play Hand, Knee, and foot. It has been over a year and a half since we last played any cards. Everyone was a winner and also a loser. Thank you God for a blessed day keeping us healthy and safe.

A big thank you to all the veterans that served to protect our freedom. We were slow getting around this morning. Cheri was busy with the laundry and I did some computer work. At noon we went over to Dennis and Sue’s. Cheri and Sue went to South Port for lunch and Dennis and I went to Denny’s for lunch. Being it was Veterans Day our lunch was free and a big thank you to Denny’s for providing lunch for the veterans. After lunch Dennis was looking for the water seal strip that goes on the bottom the shower door. We went to Lowe’s, Rural King, Hynes, and Ace Hardware, no luck finding it. When we got back to Dennis and Sue’s the lady’s where back so we sat down and had a nice visit with them. When we got home it wasn’t long before Cheri and I were both napping. There wasn’t any supper this evening because of the big lunch we had. We watched some of the Chicago shows and other shows we had recorded. Thank you God for a blessed day spending time with friends.

It was in the low 60’s this morning more to my liking. Not much going on today. Cheri fixed us French toast, bacon, and juice for breakfast. I did hang Cheri’s new picture we got framed a few days ago. I unloaded some things out of the truck, set out the recycling materials, and fill the water softener with salt. Cheri was busy with her Wednesday house work. We left the house at 11:30 am heading for the noon church service. After church we went to see Larry and Denise. It has been over a year and half since they were here. They weren’t able to come down from Canada because of the virus. Sure was good to see them, took a while to get caught up. We even went out for supper at Sunrise Eatery. We stopped at Ollie’s as Larry wanted to get some air conditioning refrigerant for their car but they were out of it. It was after 6:00 pm when we got home. We settled in to watch some TV but neither of us could stay awake so we called it a night. Thank you God for time spent with you and friends.

I headed out at 6:15 am heading to Dade City for my accountability group breakfast and Bible study. We studied Romans chapter four. There were nine of us. When I got home Cheri was already busy with her Tuesday housework. I worked on getting the sheets we ordered packaged up to send back. I just finished when I got a call from Bill McCaffery that his outside water valve wouldn’t shut off. So I headed over to see what needed to be done. It turned out that it was a sillcock valve something you don’t find in the South. We ended up getting a normal valve and a pipe extension to do the repair. It was after 1:00 pm when I got home for lunch. I had stopped at Lowe’s to pick up a few things and couldn’t find my driver license for my VA discount. When I got home I looked everywhere with no luck in finding it. I was trying to remember the last time I used them. The only thing I could come up with was about three weeks ago I had show them at Home Depot. So I gave them a call and they looked and said they weren’t there. I then said that it was about three weeks ago and said to wait. After about 15 minutes they said yes that they had them. So I made a trip to Home Depot to pick them up. On the way home I dropped off the return sheet package to Fedex. After all of that it was time for me to get ready and head to Dade City for our mens night out. I was something I was in charge of getting everything ready. We had 22 men and had a very good pot luck meal. It was around 8:30 pm when I got home. Needless to say I was pooped and needed to sit down and unwind before bed. Thank you God for guiding us through this day.

I am still trying to get use to the new time. After breakfast and our Bible study Cheri and I went shopping. Our first stop was Rural King to get a shop light for Kacey’s shed. Our next stop was Hobby Lobby to have a picture framed that Cheri had me order for her. Then a stop at Big Lots to get some new Christmas light for outside the house. Then on the way home we stopped and filled the car with gas at $3.23 per gallon. It was lunch time when we got home. After lunch I went over to Kacey’s to install the new shed light. Cheri went grocery shopping. The rest of the afternoon was spent reading, napping for me, and watching TV. Cheri fixed a new chicken recipe for supper, it was ok but nothing special. Cheri said that she wouldn’t fix it again. It was a normal evening of TV. The sheets we ordered came this evening. We thought we ordered two compete twin bed sheet sets and only received two fitted sheets. Something I will look into tomorrow. Thank you God for getting us through this day.

It was another cold morning 53 degrees but not as cold as yesterday. I was up really early this morning, going to take a while to get use to the new time change. We left for church at 9:00 am. Pastor James delivered the message to day. Its title was “When in Doubt” from John 20:24-31. Our Sunday school lesson wast titled “The Gospel’s Freedom” from Colossians 2:16-23. The gospel gives believers the freedom to live a God honoring life. After Sunday school we went out for lunch with Dick & Linda and Skip & Joy at Beef O’ Brady’s, we had a good lunch and visit making plans on a date day. It was around 2:30 pm when we got home. We watched a Hallmark movie before I went to the bedroom to watch the NASCAR race and the Packers football game. Cheri fixed us a sausage and egg biscuit for supper. Cheri continued watching more Hallmark movies while I watch my sports. Thank you God for time spent with friends and keeping us heathy and safe.

It was cold this morning and started the heat in the house for the first time this season. Normally this time of the year it is heat in the morning and air conditioning in the afternoon but not so today as the high for the day was in the low 60’s. I had a 10:30 am appointment to do a bathroom sink repair. I went to Lowe’s to get the parts I needed but couldn’t find what I needed so I went downtown to Hynes Mobile Home Repair and found the parts I needed. After I was done with that I went to Kacey’s to check her house and replaced some Damprid’s. It was after 1:00 pm when I got home for lunch. After lunch we went over to Lou Kirtwood’s for visit and she had some books for us. After our visit we went to Larry and Denise’s to check out their house and plug in the refrigerator as they will be one day next week. It will be good to have them back as it has been over a year since we have seen them. After that I took Cheri to Chick-fl Lay for supper. When we got home we settled into our recliners with Cheri reading and me napping. It was around 6:30 pm when we turned on the TV. I forgot that I had the Wisconsin Badger football game to watch. I watched the first half and then turned it to Dateline because I know Cheri isn’t into football. After Dateline Cheri went to bed and I watched the rest of the football game. Thank you God for a blessed day taking care of us.

We had rain that started around 1:00 am and didn’t quit until around 5:00 pm. I checked the gauge and we received three inches. Normally we get just over an inch for the whole month of November. Cheri and I went to Dade City to have breakfast at the Black Eyed Pea. We were disappointed as it wasn’t nearly as good as it usually is. On the way home we stopped at Bealls outlet for Cheri to do some shopping. Then back home for a bit before going to Ollie’s so Cheri could look for more books to read. She did find one and I didn’t find any for me. No lunch today because of the breakfast we had. I had a call today to install a new garbage disposal which I turned down, too hard on my back to work under a sink in the cabinet. Later in the afternoon we got on line and ordered new sheets for our bed and some used books for Cheri and me. Cheri fixed us hamburgers for supper. It was a normal evening of TV. Thank you God for time spent with you and helping us through the day.

I really have nothing to write about today. Cheri was busy with laundry. I didn’t do anything today. I spent the day in my recliner reading, Bible study, napping, and watching TV. This evening we went out for supper with friends at Culver’s and had a good visit with them. It was late when we got home and decided to go to bed and watch some TV there. Thank you God for a relaxing day and time spent with friends.

We were lazy getting around this morning. Cheri fixed us scrambled eggs and sausage with an English muffin and orange juice. After I got cleaned up I headed to the recliner doing my daily Bible study. We left the house at 11:30 am heading to Dade City for noon church. Pastor Randy’s message was the study of Psalms 55. When we got home we spent the rest of the afternoon in our recliners reading and napping. No work today just being lazy. Cheri fixed chili for supper. This evening we watched the FBI shows and a Hallmark movie before calling it a night. Thank you God for time spent with you today.

I was out the door at 6:15 am heading to Dade City for my accountability group breakfast and Bible study. We finished Romans chapter 4. After Bible study I went over to Bill McCafferty’s to work on their air conditioner. They were having a problem with the heating not working all the time. After some checking I found that the breaker was the problem. We went and got a new breaker and problem solved. It was noon when I got home, Cheri was out shopping and got home shortly after me. After lunch we sat down and did some reading. Later I made a trip to the pharmacy to pick up my medications. For supper Cheri fixed us a couple of New York steaks she bought today. They were ok but not a lot of flavor. This evening we watched the NCIS shows before calling it a night. Thank you God for a blessed day taking care of us.

It seems like it was just the other day I was saying another month has gone, hard to believe it is November already. I had to get around as I had an 8:30 am haircut appointment. After my haircut I stopped at the pharmacy to check on my meds and they said they were waiting on the doctor for a new prescript. When I got home I removed the tools from the truck and loaded the rest of the stuff I wanted to take to the transfer station. I also load an old TV from our neighbor that she needed to get rid of. By the time I was done and the tools loaded back in the truck it was noon already. Cheri was busy doing her normal Monday housework. We watched a TV show while we eat the sandwich from Domino’s Sunday. At 1:00 pm we went over to Donna Perkins tor a visit with her and her daughter Kathy that came done with her. She will be leaving on Wednesday and we wanted to see her before she left. The evening we went out for dinner with Dennis and Sue. They took us over to Piccolo’s Italian restaurant. It has been a feel years since we were last there. It is under new management and had a very good meal. When we got home we settled in for a normal evening of TV watching a movie and the Rookie before calling it a night. Thank you God for guiding us through this day and time spent with friends.

It was a normal Sunday with church and Sunday school. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “The Basis of our Justification” from Galatians 3:6-14. Our Sunday school lesson was titled “The Gospel’s Forgiveness” Forgiveness of sin is four only through faith in Jesus. We stay after Sunday school visiting for a while. On Way the way home we picked up a Domino’s pizza, something we haven’t done for a few weeks. With the pizza we settled in and watched a Hallmark movie. After that I watched the NASCAR race and the Tampa Bay Bucks football game that they lost. Cheri spent the afternoon reading and a call to her sister Sandy. We all called Darren and Brooke. We got to see Wyatt but he didn’t want to do much talking. We would really like to go to Mexico but need to wait until next year, hoping things will get back to something more normal. Thank you God for time spent with you and our church friends.

I want to wish our daughter Nikki a happy birthday. Cheri and I headed out at 7:45 am for breakfast at the Sunrise Eatery. It was 63 degrees and damp out and we both needed a jacket, first time since April. When we got home Cheri did some ironing and I did some computer work, Later we called Nikki to wish her a happy birthday and had a nice visit with her. This afternoon I watched the Wisconsin Badger football game which they won. Cheri read while I watched the game. Cheri made potato salad and fixed brats for our supper. This evening we watched Blue Bloods and Dateline. Thank you God for helping us through this day.
