Gay Feb-8-21

It was much warmer this
morning but breezy so needed a light jacket. I was slow getting around this
morning as I didn’t have to be at work until 10:00 am. I worked at a party here
in the park as she had a list of things she wanted done. Hang a picture, change
light bulb in hood vent, fix shed door that wouldn’t stay closed, and reattach a
floor molding. She wanted me to walk around the house and check things out. I
did find a section of siding that was loose on the house. So this afternoon I
removed about 10 square feet that had been installed with staples and had broken
the siding. So I reinstalled it with siding nails which should have been used
in the beginning. It was near 4:00 pm when I got home. Cheri had been busy with
housework, doing her exercises, and made a batch of chocolate chip cookies.
After I showered I headed to the recliner to rest a while before supper. Well I
got a call from a party here in the park that had a water leak under the sink.
So I headed out to check it out. It turned out to be a pipe sticking out of the
ground under the house that had been caped. The end cap had a crack in it and
was spraying water under the house by where the water goes to the sink. I went
home and got the repair parts for it and then back to fix it. It only took
about an hour and a half to get it completed and back home. Cheri fixed us
leftover chicken and dumplings we had a few days ago, still very good. This
evening we watched some episodes Building in Alaska. Thank you God for guiding
us through this day keeping us healthy and safe from the virus.
