Cheri and both did exercises
before leaving for church. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “When challenged
by worldly thinking” from Colossians 2:8-10. Our Sunday school lesson was
titled “Commissions” from Luke 24:36-49. Jesus commissioned His followers to
proclaim the gospel. After Sunday school we ordered our Pizza and headed back
to Zephyrhills to pick it up and was home by 1:30 pm. We watched the Indy 500
while having the pizza. After the race we watched a Hallmark movie. After the
movie it was time to watch the NASCR race. Cheri read while I watched until I was
caught up to live TV. Then we watched another movie, after the movie I was back
to the race. I couldn’t stay awake for the whole race and will watch the rest
of it tomorrow. Thank you God for time spent with you and church friends.

We are both feeling some
better today so decided to go out for breakfast in Dade City at the Black Eyed
Pea. (For you Pam and me it is the Sweet Pea). Cheri finished the painting on
the barn quilt today. I need to spray some sealer on it before rehanging it. I
spent a lot of time doing insurance work to get some refunds. I quit reading
the new mystery novel I started, can’t seem to get into it and too many people
to keep track of. No lunch today because of the big breakfast. We were watching
a movie this afternoon and looked over at Cheri and she was napping and I also
napped so turned off the TV so we could nap but without the TV on we both woke
up. I did watch a NASCAR race this afternoon. Cheri fixed us beans and franks
for supper. After watching the rest of the movie we napped through we took a
golf cart ride around the park. We finished the day watching some shows we had
recorded. Thank you God for a blessed day.

Not much going on today.
We didn’t go out for breakfast this morning. Cheri and I both having a problem
with our stomachs, Cheri more than me, still from the lunch we had at BK. Cheri
was busy with laundry, painting on the barn quilt, and her exercises. I have
not done a good job of doing my exercises, need to get back at it. Today I
worked on repairing an antique dining room table that is over 100 years old. It
took me awhile but got it repaired good as new. I had planned on doing some
other outside work but got lazy and spent my time in the recliner. Cheri fixed
us the leftovers from our meal at Harry’s for supper. Was going to go for golf
cart ride this evening but when it came time to go just didn’t feel like it.
This evening we watched several shows we had recorded. Thank you God for
helping us through this day.
Gay May-27-21

Cheri was busy with her
Thursday housework, laundry, and more painting on the barn quilt. I worked
outside cleaning in my shop. I managed to get rid of a lot of stuff that I don’t
use anymore. I also got a call from the neighbor wanting me to come over and
show them how to install cabinet door and drawer pulls on their cabinets. They
plan on using leather straps for the pulls. I need to go back tomorrow with a
drill bit and a template for them. Also will be doing a repair on their dining
room table. This afternoon we picked up Art and Ruby and went to Lakeland to
have an early dinner at Harry’s. The food was very good and they already said
that they want to go back there again. When we got back to their place we sat
and visited for a while. It was around 6:30 pm when we finally go settled in at
home. We watched the Chicago shows before calling it a night. Thank you God for
a blessed day spending time with Art and Ruby.

I left the house at 7:30
am for my last PT appointment. They took measurements and found that I had gain
some improvement in my arm and shoulder movement. I am not sure it was a true measurement
as they took the measurements before any PT on my first visit and today they
took the measurements after the PT. I stopped at the VA clinic to make an
appointment with my primary doctor to see what the next step will be for my
shoulder and back, something I should have done months ago. On the way home I
took the truck to through the car wash. Cheri was gone when I got home as she
also had a doctor’s appointment at 9:30 am. She was home only a short time
before we left at 11:30 am heading to Dade City for the Wednesday noon church
service. Pastor Randy’s message was on Palms 10. After church we stopped at BK
for lunch. After lunch we made a stop at Wal-Mart, Ollie’s, and then took the
car through the car wash. Around 2:30 pm I got a call from Darren to work on
our computer. Not receiving or able to send any e-mails. I am able to receive
on my phone but can’t send any. Cheri can’t send or receive. It took Daren two
hours to straighten out what I has screwed up. It all had to do with Googles
where I had to make some changes because of a recurring charge on a credit
card. Late this afternoon Cheri was sick and I didn’t feel good, pretty sure it
was from our BK lunch. So we both went to bed not feeling that good. Tried to
watch some TV. Thank you God for guiding us through this day and spending time
with you.

I headed out at 6:30 am
for my accountability group breakfast and Bible study. We studied the first
part of Acts chapter 17. There were only six of us this morning. When I got
home I cleaned the inside of the car windshield as it was cloudy and needed a
good cleaning which is something I don’t like doing as it is hard for me to
reach in to do the cleaning. I also wash the side of truck that has something
like grease spots on the side and noticed it didn’t come off the last time
through the car wash. I did do a little computer work and that was it for the
day. Cheri did her Tuesday house work and painting on the barn quilt. We both
read, napped, and watched TV. Cheri fixed us pork chops supper. Dennis picked
me up at 7:45 pm and did security with him this evening. When I got home Cheri
and I watched Building off the Grid and a home improvement show before calling
it a night. Thank you God for a bless day and spending time with my accountability
group and Cheri.

I am still not doing the
morning walk. I didn’t do any exercises today, depressed as I don’t think they
are doing any good. Cheri is good about doing her exercises every day. We didn’t
have any wind this morning and that was what I needed to finish cleaning off
the carport roof. So the first thing this morning I went out and got that done.
Later Cheri and I went to Rural King as they had men’s denim shorts on sale for
$9.89 a pair, came home with three pair. On the way home we stopped at Wawa to
fill the car with gas and got sandwiches for lunch. They were ok but nothing
special and told Cheri I would spend the little extra to have Jersey Mike’s.
Dennis came over to talk with me about some lattice by his carport. So we went
back to his place and showed me what he wanted. I gave him some different ideas
and now he wants to think about it. Cheri continued painting on the barn quilt
and putting away paper work that she had been working on for over a month. The rest
of the afternoon was spent reading and napping. Cheri fixed us scrambled eggs
with sausage with an English muffin for supper. It was an evening of TV and don’t
remember all the shows we watched. Thank you God for helping us through this
day.

Cheri had made additional wafers
yesterday so we could have them again this morning. Just pop them into the
toaster and taste fresh made. We left the house at 9:30 am heading to Dade City
for church and Sunday school. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “How Should We
Model Christ” from Colossians 2:1-7. Our Sunday school lesson was titled “Revealed”
from Luke 24:18-31. Jesus reveals His identity to those seeking Him. We ordered
our Domino’s pizza before we left the church parking lot. We headed back to
Zephyrhills to get the pizza and then home by 1:30 pm. We watched a Hallmark
movie while eating our pizza. After the movie was over it was time for me to watch
the NASCAR race. Cheri painted a couple of coats on the barn quilt. After the
race we settled in for two more Hallmark movies. For supper we had the Italian
sandwich we ordered with the pizza. Thank you God for spending time with you
and our church friends.
Gay May-22-21

I still have pain in my
back, hip, and leg, not doing the morning walk. Cheri fixed us waffles for
breakfast to have with our coffee. Cheri was busy with painting on the barn
quilt. I went over to the neighbors and cut the seed pods out of his palm
trees. Not a project that I wanted to do as I have to carry over the heavy
ladder to get up into the palm trees. Which isn’t good for my back. I spent the
rest of the day in my recliner reading, napping, and watching a little TV.
Cheri also spent time in her recliner. We had left over Italian casserole for
supper. This evening we watched a Hallmark movie, Date Line, and a couple of
home improvement shows. Thank you God for being with us today.
Gay May-21-21

I set the trash out at
6:00 am and when Cheri and I went out for breakfast the trash had been ripped
open. For the last month or so I have seen a cat around the area. I am pretty
sure that it was the cat that got into the garbage. I said to Cheri it is time
to get my trap set. I hadn’t set it because I was tired of catching possums.
Cheri and I eat breakfast at the Sunrise Eatery, still one of the best places
for breakfast. On the way home we stopped at the post office and the pharmacy.
When we got home Cheri continued with the laundry and busy painting on the barn
quilt. It is going to take her a long time to do the painting as she has to put
on three coats of paint and can only do one color at a time. I went outside to
do some work and saw the cat go under out neighbor’s house. So quickly went and
got the trap and set up close by and went in the house to wait. Well within ten
minutes I heard the trap go off and sure enough I caught the cat. So I loaded
it into the truck and took it for a ride up to Dade City. I also spent time on
the computer and with Capital One as we have had a recurring charge on Cheri’s
card. They were good about helping me with it but Cheri will have to have a new
card to make sure to get rid of the recurring charge. It was some kind of scam.
Cheri fixed us an Italian casserole for supper with garlic toast. Later we took
a golf cart ride around the park. It was a beautiful day but very windy this
afternoon, still having the low humidity. This evening we watched a Hallmark
movie along with some other shows we had recorded. Thank you God for helping us
through this day.

I had PT at 7:00 am and
still have pain in my shoulder which doesn’t seem to be getting any better.
Probably because I am not letting it heal by working and lifting. Cheri also
had a knee appointment this morning at 9:15 am. She was told she still has swelling
around the knee and gave her a cream to put on it, couldn’t give her a pill as
it would add to her blood thinner. I left at 9:00 am to work in Tampa Bay
country to install the new vanity top. When I got to work I realized I forgot
one piece of the back splash. I was upset with myself for forgetting it but as
it turned out I needed to go to Lowes for an additional drain piece. So I was
able to come home for lunch. I did get the project finished and was near 5:00
pm when I got home. Cheri fixed a new recipe for baby back spare ribs. They
were ok but lacked some seasoning. This evening we watched all the Chicago
shows, Seal Team, and Swat. Thank you God for guiding us through this day
getting our projects completed.

We have been blessed with
some really nice weather the last few days, low humidity with a nice breeze and
temps in the low 80’s. I worked outside for a while this morning getting my
truck stocked for tomorrow. I even put the battery charger on our golf cart as
it hasn’t been charged for almost a year. I wasn’t sure if it would take a
charge or not but it did charge so the batteries may be better than I thought
they were. I hope to get time this summer to get it repaired so we can use it. Cheri
and I left at 11:30 am for the Wednesday noon church service. Pastor Randy’s
message was the study of Palms 9, very interesting on how a broke it down to
better understand it. When we got home we had a late lunch and then I headed to
Lakeland to pick up the granite vanity top that was ordered last Wednesday. It
was 4:00 pm when I finally got done for the day. Cheri had done some painting
on the barn quilt which will take a while as there is a lot of different areas
to be painted. Cheri made us a Hobo diner for supper, it was excellent. This evening
we watched a Hallmark movie, FBI Most Wanted, and some other show that I don’t
remember. Thank you God for time spent with you and helping us through this
day.
Gay May-18-21

I left the house at 6:30
am heading to Dade City for my accountability breakfast and Bible study. There
were eight of us this morning. We finished Acts chapter 16. I stopped at the VA
Clinic on my way home trying to get some things straightened out. Over the last
two week I have gotten two calls that I was supposed to contact the VA here in
Zephyrhills for labs but when I contact them they tell me that there isn’t any
order for labs. I guess the doctor canceled the labs after they were ordered.
When I got home Cheri was busy with her Tuesday housework. I headed out to
clean the rain gutters from the leave I blew off the roof last week. I did get
some of it done but it was too windy to clean off the new carport extension. I
also took down the barn quilt that was hanging on the front of the house, it
needs to be repainted. I did do the sanding on it and now is ready Cheri to
paint. After I showered Cheri and I headed out to Plaza Mexico to have Taco
Tuesday. We have had some really good meals there, but we didn’t care for the
tacos. When we got home we headed for the recliners where we did some reading
and napping. Because of the big lunch we had an English muffin with peanut
butter for supper. We watched a Hallmark movie, Bull, All Rise, The Good
Doctor, and 20-20 this evening. Thank you God for guiding us through this day
and time spent with my accountability group.
Gay May-17-21

Cheri fixed a big
breakfast of scrambled eggs with sausage, English muffin with blackberry jam, orange
juice, and coffee. It was nice to have breakfast with Cheri to visit and relax.
I headed out for my 9:00 am PT appointment, had another workout on my shoulder.
Cheri had a lab appointment this morning and also did some shopping while she
was out. I also had a 10:30 am appointment to do some electrical work in Grand
Horizon. I removed an outside electrical circuit that was no longer used. I was
back home by noon. Cheri fixed us a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch. After
lunch I copied some paper work for Cheri, she has been waiting a few days for
me to get it done. I had planned on doing some work outside but run out of
energy so the recliner won out. I tried to do some reading but ended up taking a
nap. Cheri fixed us spaghetti and garlic toast for supper. Around 6:30 pm we
took a golf cart ride around the park. After our ride we settled in for an
evening of TV watching some recorded shows. Thank you God for taking care of
today and keeping us healthy and safe.
Gay May-16-21

I am still not able to do
the morning walk. Just can’t get rid of the back and leg pain. I am still doing
all the exercises but doesn’t seem to be improving. We headed out to church at
9:30 am. Cheri stayed in the church kitchen to help prepare the Linger Longer
lunch. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “A Ministry like None Other” from Colossians
1:24-29. Our Sunday school lesson was titled “Sacrificed” from Luke 23:33-46.
Jesus’ death provides salvation to all who trust in him. After Sunday school we
all headed over to the fellowship hall for our Linger Longer lunch. It was a
good time to be able to visit with church friends. Later we took some of the
food and went to see Art and Ruby who has been shut in from the virus and
health problems. It has been over a year since we have seen them. We had a good
visit and plan on going out for dinner next week. Art is in his mid 90’s and
has some health issues and not able to get out much. It was after 4:00 pm when
we got home. I settled in to watch the NASCAR race. Cheri watched some of the
race along with a nap. We didn’t have any supper because of the big lunch. But
did have a piece of leftover cake from Linger Longer. After the race we watched
the rest of Dateline that we couldn’t finish last night. We also watched a
movie we had recorded. Thank you God for a blessed day to spend with you and
church friends.
Gay May-15-21

Cheri fixed us pancakes
for breakfast with juice and coffee. We headed out at 9:15 am to Dick and Linda’s
(church friends). The four of us left with Dick driving to Odessa to visit the
Suncoast Center for scale modular railroading. We were there a few years ago
and enjoyed it so much that we wanted Dick and Linda to see it. We spent close
to two hours looking at all of the miniature trains and village layouts. From
there we headed to Tarpon Springs which is the sponge capital and is a Greek
city. We found a place to eat a late lunch. We were going to do some shopping
after lunch but was too busy to get around in the stores, so we headed home. It
was a little after 4:00 pm when we got home. Cheri went to work making an apple
cake to take for our Linger Longer after Sunday school tomorrow. We were going
to go for a ride around the park but was too tired to do it. We watched a
couple episodes of Blue Bloods and started watching Dateline but couldn’t stay
awake for the whole show. Thank you God for spending time with church friends
and safe travels.

Cheri and I left at 7:15
am heading out for breakfast at Sunrise Eatery. We had another good breakfast.
Since the lifting of some of the virus rules Sunrise Eatery as brought back
more tables. But everyone is still wearing masks. On the way home we made a stop
at Walgreens to pick up some pain medicine for my back and shoulder and also
for Cheri’s Knee. When we got home Cheri continued with laundry and paper work
to send to Nikki. I went out and cleaned the rain gutters and then decided to
go up on the roof and clean off all the debris from the tree. I use a leaf rake
to do that. Then I use the leaf blower to blow off the carport. But with the
carport extension the blower doesn’t get it all the way to the gutter. So I
made a trip over to Lowes dreaming about how I could make an extension for the
blower. Well I did come up with an idea and bought the parts to make the extension.
I must say it did work pretty well. It was 4:30 pm before I got done. While I
was taking a shower Cheri started supper making us philly cheesesteak sandwiches.
We watched FBI Most wanted while having our supper in front of the TV. Later we
took a golf cart ride around the park, looks like it could be a daily thing to
do. When we got home it was more TV before calling it a night. Thank you God
for guiding us through this day keeping us healthy and safe.

Not much going on today. I
did go for my 7:00 am PT and got worked over pretty good. When I got home Cheri
had started the laundry and we sat down and had coffee together. I left the
house at 9:15 am for an appointment over in Tampa Bay country to repair a toilet
with a stop at Lowes on the way for parts. It wasn’t anything serious just
needed in new parts in the toilet. I was back home by 11:30 am. Cheri had
finished the laundry and was doing some ironing. After lunch I planned on
working outside but ended up resting before going for a haircut. We had
leftover roast beef, potatoes, carrots, onions, and gravy for supper. After
supper we took a golf cart ride around the park. Cheri counted ten houses for
sale and three more had sold signs in the window. After our ride we settled in
for an evening of TV watching the three Chicago shows before calling it a
night. Thank you God for a blessed day.
Gay May-12-21

I had 10:00 am appointment
in Tampa Bay country to remove the new vanity top I installed a few week ago.
She isn’t happy with the finish on the sink, continues to have water spots that
can’t be removed. So I took her to Lakeland Granite. She picked out a piece of
granite to have a new vanity top made with an under mount porcelain sink. It
will be ready to pick up next Wednesday. We stopped at Lowes to return the old
vanity top. I thought maybe we would have trouble returning it but no problem.
Gayloria bought us a late lunch at Jersey Mike’s. It was a long day and didn’t
get home until 5:00 pm. Then I took the truck and car through the carwash to
remove the love bugs we had collected, think the love bug season is over as I
didn’t see any today in our travels. Cheri had been busy with her normal
Wednesday housework and started a roast beef in the crockpot. She also had a
dentist appointment to get a new crown. It was after 6:00 pm when we sat down
for supper. After supper we took a golf cart ride around the park and met
Dennis coming back from the pool. We talked for a bit and was going to go and
get Sue and come over for a visit. It was after 9:00 pm when they left so it
was a short evening of TV. Thank you God for helping Gayloria and safe travels.

I was out the door at 6:30
am heading to Dade City for my accountability group breakfast and Bible study.
We studied the first part of Acts chapter 16. After Bible study I headed for my
VA Dermatology appointment. On the way I got a call from Mike and Pam wanting
to go out for lunch. So I called Cheri to let her know and said that she was
getting ready to start a roost beef in the crockpot and will wait until
tomorrow for it. Cheri had been busy with her exercises and Tuesday housework.
We met Mike and Pam at 1:00 pm for a late lunch. It has been well over a year since
we had lunch together. It was so good to be able to have lunch and visit with
them. I went back to the couple that wanted me to install a new front door and
gave them some ideas on how they could keep the door they have. I think they
will be doing what I suggested. I was bad this afternoon as I just didn’t have
the energy to do my exercises. I tried to do some reading but that was short
because I couldn’t stay awake. After a nap Cheri fixed us and English muffin
with peanut butter for supper along with a chocolate chip cookie. Our weather
continues to be hot and humid but did get a quick shower that lasted all of a
minute. Also had trouble getting my nose to stop bleeding from the biopsy this
afternoon and evening. Cheri cleaned me up and put a larger band aid on which
help to stop the bleeding. Thank you God for time spent with you and friends
today.
Gay May-10-21

I am still not walking and
the back, hip, and leg pain doesn’t seem to be getting any better. I still do
the daily exercises for my shoulder and back. This morning I had PT and they
worked me over pretty good. On the way home I filled the truck with gas. I had
good intentions to work outside and to do some cleaning in my work area. But
when I got home I headed to the recliner and that is where I stayed all day
except for going and looking at a project of changing a front door. Most of our
afternoon and evening was spent reading, napping, and watching TV. Cheri fixed
us the leftover Lasngua for supper. Thank you God for taking care of us today.

Today was Dad’s birthday,
he has been gone for 12 years. I wish every Mother a Happy Mother’s Day. As
Pastor Randy said this morning none of us could be here without a mother.
Pastor Randy’s message was titled “Reconciled in Christ” from Colossians
1:20-23. Our Sunday school lesson was titled “Denied” from Luke 22:54-62.
Denying Jesus leads to sorrow and guilt. After Sunday school Cheri and I went
through the new Oasis Pregnancy Center in Building B. Before leaving the
parking lot we ordered the pizza from Domino’s to be picked up on the way home.
Cheri got an e-mail from Kari washing her a happy Mother’s Day. Nikki called
this afternoon and visited for over an hour. Darren tried to do a video call
but it didn’t come through. We watched a movie this afternoon or I should say
Cheri did because I napped through most of it. After Nikki’s call I headed to
the bedroom to watch the NASCAR race while Cheri watched movies in the living
room. Thank you God for a day spent with you and church friends.

It was another beautiful
day with temp in low 80’s and no humidity. After breakfast and coffee Cheri and
I headed to Wesley Chapel with a stop at the UPS store to send some mail to
Darren. I don’t know why but the UPS store in Zephyrhills won’t send anything
to Mexico but the one in Wesley Chapel does. On the way home we stopped at
Lowes to get a can of clear spray paint to clear coat Cheri’s new bicycle
decoration. After lunch I sprayed the bike and made a spot for it outside the
front door. I had to move a plant further out and made a foundation for the
bicycle and fastening it to the bricks. I also readjusted the water drips to
the new flowers, as a couple of them wasn’t getting enough water. I was done
with work by 3:00 pm and ready for a shower. For Supper Cheri baked the lasagna
that the made a couple days ago along with garlic English muffins. Around 7:30
pm we did something we have never done before, we took a ride round the park in
the golf cart. The rest of the evening was spent watching TV. Thank you God for
helping us through this day keeping us healthy and safe.

We went out for breakfast
this morning, wanted to make up for the bad breakfast yesterday morning. We
went to Sunrise Eatery. It has been over a year and a half since we have been
there. We had heard rumors that the waitress didn’t wear mask and it was crowded.
Well it wasn’t true, all the waitress were wearing mask and half of the tables
had been removed and panels installed between the booths. The only closeness was
outside people waiting to get in. We had an excellent breakfast and great
service. When we got home Cheri continued with laundry and both of us doing our
exercises. I worked on getting the rope lighting reinstalled, glad to have that
done. This afternoon we made a trip to Lakeland Granite and Marble to check out
a vanity counter top to be made with a Kohler sink. It would be for the lady I
installed the one piece vanity top for a couple weeks ago. She isn’t happy with
it because of water spots. So I may be removing it and returning it to Lowes.
She now has her mine set on a Kohler sink. After that we headed to Plant City
to shop at Southern Hospitality. Cheri has been wanting a bicycle decoration to
put outside with flowers. She has talked about it for a long time and today she
found one that she wanted. After that we stopped at Johnson’s BQ for supper. It
has been a long time since we have been there and was very good. It was a
little passed 5:00 pm when we got home. We settled in for an evening of TV and
a piece of apple pie. Thank you God for a guiding us through this day with
shopping and safe travels.

I headed out for my 7:00
am PT and got worked over pretty good. I will say my shoulder is starting to
feel some better. I didn’t eat breakfast before I went to PT and when I got
home Cheri hadn’t had breakfast so we headed out to Dade City to have breakfast
at IHOP. We should have stayed home. It was really bad, didn’t think anyone
could destroy a breakfast but I am here to tell you it happened today. We were
both pretty depressed when we got home. Funny how we let a little thing like
can ruin your whole day. Cheri did her exercises, laundry, made an apple pie,
and lasagna to have for supper. I went over to Mike’s to get is security camera
working. Then to Donna’s to shut off the water and make sure the hot water
heater was turned off. We got our lawn contract and the price has gone up to
$450 for the year. So decided to search on line for a used lawn mower. I found
one in Lakeland and made arrangements to meet at Sam’s Club and check it out. It
was old but seem to be in good working order so we bought it. It was around 5:30
pm when we got home. We weren’t very hungry so decided to save the lasagna for
tomorrow night. Cheri made us hot ham sandwiches. This evening we watched the
Chicago shows, Swat, and Seal Team. Thank you God for a blessed day.

this morning, pushing myself to get stuff done. Cheri and I were both doing our
exercises at the same time. When she got done she headed out for her haircut
and a stop at Winn Dixie for some groceries. I worked on cleaning out the
shower drain as it was draining slowly. With a little baking soda, vinegar, and
bowling hot water to clean out the soap build up and now is draining good
again. About a year ago I installed a new headlight assembly in the truck and
never took time to adjust the light as it was aiming low, well today was the
day to get it adjusted. It didn’t take long, just something I kept putting off.
This afternoon Cheri and I went over to Lowes so I could get some additional
parts for the flower drip system. We also bought new flowers for the front of
the house. When we got home I repaired the drip system and to the flowers set
in place. It was another hot and humid day with a high temp of 87 degrees.
Cheri fixed us an omelet, English muffin with jam, and orange juice for supper.
It was a normal evening of watching FBI, FBI Most Wanted, and a movie. Thank
you God for a guiding us through this day keeping us healthy and safe.

I forgot to mention
yesterday when we went to Sam’s Club that the love bugs are back as we collected
some on the car. I also got some on the truck today. I was out the door at 6:30
am heading to Dade City for my accountability group breakfast and Bible study.
We finished studying Acts chapter 15. There is still a problem with the hot
water heater in the Sunday school building. The thermostat breaker was tripped
again. So after Bible study I changed the thermostat, now wait and see if that
cured the problem. When I got home I tried to do my exercises but was light
headed and was worse when I tried to lay down. So no exercises until later this
afternoon when I felt some better. So I didn’t get any work done today. Cheri
went for her haircut but had the wrong day and it is tomorrow. But we are sure
that the hair dresser put the wrong day on the card. Anyway she will go
tomorrow. Late this afternoon Donna Perkins called and said that we could come
and pick up the golf cart. So we went to get it and had a short visit with
Donna and Kathy as they leave tomorrow morning. Cheri made me a batch of
chocolate chip cookies. I finished the novel I have been trying to read the
last few weeks. For supper Cheri fixed the leftover ribs and mashed potatoes.
This evening we watched Bull, All Rise, and a movie. Thank you God for helping
us though this day.

Still not doing the morning
walk. I had a 9:00 am PT appointment this morning and had another workout. When
I got home Cheri and I decided to go to Sam’s Club to get a few things that we
needed. But as usual we brought a lot more than we figured on. It was 12:30 pm
when we got home. It was hot and humid today with a high of 97 degrees. So I
decided I didn’t need to go outside to do any work. Cheri and I both read our
novels this afternoon and a nap for me. Cheri fixed us chicken wraps for supper
along with a dish of ice cream. This evening we watched NCIS LA, NCIS New
Orleans, and a Hallmark movie. So it was a lazy day for us. Thank you God for
relaxing day.

Today was no different
from last Sunday except it was a high of 90 degrees and high humidity. We left
at 9:30 am for church. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “No One like Him” from
Colossians 1:15-19. Our Sunday school lesson was titled “Willing” from Luke
22:41-53. Before we left the church parking lot I ordered pizza from Domino’s
to pick up on the way home. It was around 1:15 pm when we got home. We watched
the rest of Magnum that we couldn’t stay awake for last night and a Hallmark
movie before it was time for me to watch the NASCAR race while Cheri read her
novel. We had an Italian sandwich that we got with the pizza for supper. We
watched another Hallmark movie before calling it a night. I was too lazy to do
my exercises today but Cheri did hers. Thank you God for a blessed day and time
spent with you and friends.

Another month has passed
and we are 1/3 of the way through the year. I am still not walking and the leg
pain doesn’t seem to be getting any better. Cheri and I both continue to do our
exercises each day. I was slow getting around this morning. I finally got out
and finished the electrical project, good to have it done. I also got the
outdoor security camera reinstalled and working. My next project is to get the
rope lights reinstalled. I quit work early and after my shower I took a nap and
managed to do some reading. Cheri was busy doing paper work and hopes she will
be done in another day. Cheri fixed us French toast and sausage for supper. We
watched three movies this evening. Thank you God for being with us and keeping
us healthy and safe.

Cheri and I left the house
at 8:30 am heading over near Tampa Bay country to have breakfast at Denny’s.
After breakfast we went over to where I put in the new vanity top a couple
weeks ago. Well she isn’t happy with it has it has water spots in the sink that
don’t want to come out. The main reason is I told her it had to be sealed and
she didn’t do it. She is thinking to have me remove it and return it to Lowes,
which is if she can find what she wants. From there we went back to see Bob and
Ida Mae bringing over Mom’s walker for Ida Mae to use. It was noon when we got
home. No lunch because of the big breakfast. We didn’t get our exercises done
before we left so we got to them when we got home. Then Cheri finished the
laundry and I went out to work on the electrical project. Donna Perkins and her
daughter picked us up at 4:30 pm and took us out for dinner at Calver’s to have
fish and a fudge sundae. We had a good visit as Donna and Kathy will be leaving
to go back north for the summer. It was 7:00 pm when we got home. Not a good
night for TV, couldn’t find anything worth watching. Thank you God for a
blessed day spending time with friends.
