Cheri fixed us pancakes
for breakfast with juice and coffee. We headed out at 9:15 am to Dick and Linda’s
(church friends). The four of us left with Dick driving to Odessa to visit the
Suncoast Center for scale modular railroading. We were there a few years ago
and enjoyed it so much that we wanted Dick and Linda to see it. We spent close
to two hours looking at all of the miniature trains and village layouts. From
there we headed to Tarpon Springs which is the sponge capital and is a Greek
city. We found a place to eat a late lunch. We were going to do some shopping
after lunch but was too busy to get around in the stores, so we headed home. It
was a little after 4:00 pm when we got home. Cheri went to work making an apple
cake to take for our Linger Longer after Sunday school tomorrow. We were going
to go for a ride around the park but was too tired to do it. We watched a
couple episodes of Blue Bloods and started watching Dateline but couldn’t stay
awake for the whole show. Thank you God for spending time with church friends
and safe travels.
