I left the house at 6:30
am heading to Dade City for my Accountability breakfast and Bible study. There
were seven of us today and we finished Acts chapter 19. It was around 9:00 am
when I got home. Cheri was had finished breakfast and was relaxing with her
morning coffee. I had a 10:00 am appointment to work on a cabinet over the refrigerator.
They are getting new refrigerator and needed four inches cut off the bottom of
the cabinet and rebuilt. When I came home for lunch Cheri had been on the
ladder painting. I wasn’t happy as there wasn’t anyone around if she had
fallen. She said that she would have called me to come home but probably wouldn’t
been able to get to her phone. I had planned on doing some painting after the
cabinet project but didn’t have the energy to do any. I got cleaned up and
headed for the recliner. Cheri fixed us some more of the lasagna and garlic
toast for supper. I was going to go out for security with Dennis this evening
but it rained and didn’t have to go, I was happy as I really didn’t feel like
going out. We settled in for an evening of TV but both gave up early as both
were tired. I checked the rain gauge and we received ½ inch. Thank you God for blessed
day.

Cheri had a heart doctor’s
appointment at 9:00 am. The doctor was running late and she had a long wait to
see him. Cheri has to go back on July 12 for an echo scan, just a check to make
sure everything is ok. After Cheri’s appointment she went Wal-Mart for
groceries and a few other things she needed. She also had a phone visit with
Jean and later one with pam. She still had time to do some painting and
cleaning. I had a 9:30 am appointment over at Ron and Sandy’s to rewire their
camper jack to the camper battery instead of having to plug into the truck for
power. I also checked out the light in the garage, not sure but think it needs
a new ballast. Ron is going to get a new one and then see if that was the
problem. After lunch I did a second coat of paint on the crown molding and then
taping around the sewing room doors so Cheri can work on painting the doors and
trim. It was 4:00 pm when I got done. Cheri made lasagna and garlic toast for
supper. Later we had a bowl of ice cream while watching TV. Thank you God for
helping us through another day keeping us healthy and safe.

We headed out for church
at 9:00 am. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “Out with the Old!” from
Colossians 3:5-9a. Our Sunday school lesson title was “Wisdom Gained” from Job
28:12-28. God’s wisdom is found in fearing and obeying Him. We met a new couple
(John and Deb Welsh) in church this morning. Talking with them we found out
that they are from Maine. They just bought a place near Dade City to spend the
winters in. Today was the first time they have been to our church. After
visiting with them we found out that John is a pastor of a Baptist church in
Maine. On the way home we picked up our Domino’s pizza for lunch. We once again
are having trouble with a barking dog behind our house. The last two night it
bark all night and into the forenoon. So this afternoon we went and talked with
them to see if there was anything they could do about the barking and got a no
from them. It has been an ongoing problem with this dog for over two years. The
dog wants to be in the house and when it is outside it continues to bark until
they bring it back in the house. Hopefully they will do something. It was a
normal Sunday with TV, me watching the NASCAR race and Cheri reading. After the
race we watched a movie and a home improvement show. Thank you God for time
spent with you and friends today.

Cheri fixed scrambled eggs
with cheese, sausage, and English muffins for breakfast. After breakfast we
went right work on the painting project. We are making headway but slow. I did
take time out to go and get Cheri’s medicines. On the way back I stopped at
Wawa to get a couple of subs to have for lunch. Because of the big breakfast we
only eat half the subs and had the other half for supper. Later this afternoon we
got to face time with our Grandson Wyatt for his birthday party. Darren sent us
some videos of him opening his presents. This evening I watched the NASCAR race while
Cheri read. After the race we watched a movie and Dateline. After heading to
bed we watched the new dirt track racing. I couldn’t stay awake for the whole
race so will watch the rest of it tomorrow. Thank you God for a blessed day to
spend some time with our Grandson.

Cheri and I both put in a bad night, no real reason for it. After breakfast we went to work on the painting project. We did get another section done except for the trim around the window back side. Also got started on the next section. This project is taking a lot longer than I thought it would. It was around 4:00 pm when we quit for the day. While I was taking my shower Cheri started supper. We had beans and franks. We watched a couple of movies and a home improvement show before calling it a night. We did have another shower come through but only ¼ inch. Thank you God for helping us through this day keeping us healthy and safe.

54 years ago Cheri and I were married. It has been a wonderful life with her. Yes we all have our problems but always get through them and being stronger. She is the love of my life and best friend. Today we continued to work on the painting project. It has been hard for both of us, only able to do a little and then taking a break. We left the house at 3:30 pm heading to Harry’s in Lakeland to celebrate and have dinner. We both had the Cajun ribeye with smashed potatoes. We were back home by 6:00 pm. Today is also our grandson’s (Wyatt) birthday. It has been three years since we last was with him. We called Darren to do some face time but Darren was out running some errands. They are having a birthday party on Saturday and will call then and watch him unwrap his gifts. We had a hard rain come through this evening and received one inch according to the rain gauge. We both settled in to do some reading before calling it a night but watch some TV after going to bed. Thank you God for 54 blessed years spent with the lady of my life.

I headed out this morning
for an 8:30 am haircut appointment. After the haircut I stopped at Hine’s mobile
home supply to get new door hinges and lock sets. Cheri wants to get rid of the
old gold and put in the brushed nickel. Being its Wednesday I stopped at the
car wash for the car. When I got home Cheri was done with her exercises and
ready to start painting. She painted the doors and trim around them. I worked
on a second coat of one section of wall that got painted yesterday. We quit around
11:00 am to get ready for noon church service. Pastor James delivered the
message again, not sure where Pastor Randy was. On the way home we stopped at
Jersey Mike’s for subs for a late lunch. After lunch we continued with our
painting. I got the first coat on another section of the crown molding. I also
went to check out a job here in our park. A couple are getting a new refrigerator
and need to cut four inches off the bottom of the cabinet and doors above the refrigerator.
I stopped by Dennis and Sue’s as Dennis has been wanting to go out for dinner
this week and decided to wait until one day next week. When I got home it was
time for my shower and to get cleaned up. We didn’t have any supper because of
the big sub and late lunch. Cheri had a couple of cookies and I had a bag of
popcorn while watching TV. We had a hard rain come through that lasted about an
hour and received just over a ½ inch. Thank you God for a blessed day and
spending time with you today.

Today was Mom’s birthday,
she would have been 100 years old today. Hard to believe she has been gone for
a year and a half already. I left the house at 6:30 am heading for my accountability
group Bible study and breakfast. I normally stop at BK for a breakfast sandwich
but haven’t gotten what I ordered the last few times so this morning I went to
McDonalds for a sausage, egg, cheese Mc Muffin. Not sure it was any better but
got what I ordered. Our Bible study this morning was the first part of Acts
chapter 19. When I got home Cheri was making stovetop cookies to take with her
this morning for a ladies get together at church. I was only back home for few
minutes before I had to leave for work in Tampa Bay country. I had a repair on
a kitchen faucet that I installed new a couple of years ago. It was froze up
and wouldn’t turn from on sink to the other. I took it apart and lubed it up
and put it back together and is working again. I have never had a faucet do
that before, maybe because it was an off brand faucet. It was around 12:30 pm
when I got home. After lunch Cheri came home. I worked on the crown molding, a
second coat of plaster on the holes in the wall, and painted part of a wall.
After that it was time to get my shower and clean all the paint off of me
(still don’t like to paint). We had leftover meatloaf for supper. I was going
to go out for security this evening but started to rain just before Dennis was
going to pick me up, so security was canceled for the night. Cheri and settled
in to watch a movie and a couple of home improvement shows. Thank you God for a
blessed day spending time with you.

Hey if you don’t know it, summer is here but for us here in Florida summer has been here for a month already. I had an appointment with my heart doctor this morning. I still have a cloistral problem, every different drug they give I have a joint problems with it. Today I got some samples of a new one to try as the doctor says this one as less side effects. Cheri was busy painting doors that I did some sanding on one of them. I took down the big mirror near the bathroom. Cheri has decided she doesn’t want it up there anymore. I filled some hole with plaster, removed paint tape, and reinstalled the baseboard on the feature wall. I got a call from Lou and said that she had a box fan that she wants me to have for my work area. So I went and pick it up and had a visit with her. When I got home Cheri was making a meatloaf to for supper. I was having a down day and had to force myself to do work today. So I didn’t get that much done today. We got rain this afternoon and evening, checked the new rain gauge and we received 1¼ inches. Tried watching a movie this evening and slept through most of it so decided to go to bed early but we did watch a home improvement show in bed. Thank you God for taking care of us today and the good doctor’s report.

Happy Father’s Day to all
the Fathers. I got a nice e-mail from Kari, a text from Darren, and a phone
call from Nikki all wishing me a Happy Father’s day. Cheri and I left the house
at 9:00 am heading to church. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “Living the
Life” from Colossians 3:1-4. Our Sunday school lesson was Titled “Redemption
Found” from Job 19:19-29. Believers can trust God to be faithful to them. We
hung around after Sunday school to visit longer than we usually do. We ordered
our pizza before leaving the parking lot from Domino’s. When we got home we
settled in to watch a movie while eating our pizza. After the movie I watched
the NASCAR race while Cheri read her novel. For Supper we had the sandwich
which we ordered with the pizza. We watched a couple more movies and a home improvement
show before calling it a night. Thank you God for time spent with you and
church friends.
Gay June-19-21

After breakfast, coffee, and
Bible study Cheri and I went to work on the feature wall. We got two coats of
paint on it and now ready to remove all the tape and put things back in place.
I also went to repair a toilet here in the park, just needed to replace the
flapper valve. After having a shower and getting cleaned up I made a trip to
the pharmacy to pick up Cheri’s and my meds. I found the ice maker is froze up
again but didn’t have the energy to work on that today. We tried to watch a
movie this afternoon but I couldn’t stay wake so we stopped the movie so I
could nap while Cheri read her novel. Cheri fixed us a Philly cheese steak
sandwich for supper. We watched a couple of movies and a home improvement show before
calling it a night. Thank you God for a blessed day.

An update on me, my
shoulder is starting to feel better but still have some pain. My back is a
little better, waiting to be scheduled for PT. Cheri still has pain and
problems with her knee but continues to do the knee exercises. Today we started
a project that has been in the making for eight years, we are going to paint
the living room and dining room. We went to Lowes this morning and got the
paint and other materials. I started with moving the TV out and removed the
pictures. Then I started with repairing the crown molding. Cheri washed down
the wall and has it ready for paint. We are doing the feature wall behind the
TV which will be a different color than the rest of the living room and dining
room. Long story short all I got done was the crown molding painted on the
feature wall, I still don’t like to paint. It is too hard for Cheri to get up a
ladder to do any painting. We had planned on going to Dade City this evening to
see the railroad museum as they were having an open house, well I was too tired
to make it. For supper we had leftovers while watching some home improvement
show. After a shower and getting cleaned up it was time to settle in for the
evening watching a couple of Hallmark movies. Thank you God for helping us
through this day and keeping us healthy.

It was another lazy
morning. I did get out to work on the car that wouldn’t start yesterday. I figured
that it was going to need a new battery, but while checking things out found
that the battery post were corroded. So I clean them up and put the battery
charger on. After three hours on a slow charge the car started and everything
seem ok. I also did some work on the lawn mower I got the other day. It was
running rough so found that the choke was stuck in the closed position. It was
an easy fix and a like new mower. That was the end of my work day. After my
shower I headed to the recliner to do some reading and napping. Cheri was busy
with laundry and Thursday house work. She also made a grape salad to take for
the Prime Timers dinner this evening. We left the house at 5:00 pm as the
dinner was at 5:30 pm. There was a good turnout as there were 53 that had
signed up and looked like they were all there. We had good fellowship with
visiting and singing. It was around 7:30 pm when we got home. We settled in to
watch some TV before calling it a night. Thank you God for a relaxing day and
fellowship with church friends.
Gay June-16-21

We didn’t have to be
anywhere this morning so was slow getting around. I did get outside for a
little while unloading the lawn mower I got from working in Tampa Bay country.
Also unloaded a few other things. I got a call from the doctor today. Have a
few minor problems with my back and hip. Doctor has set me up to have PT on my
back. So now I have to call and make my appointments, hope to have them at the
same place as I did for my shoulder. Cheri and I headed out for the noon church
service. When we got in the car it wouldn’t start as the battery was almost
dead. So we took the truck. Pastor Randy was in Nashville for a convention so
Pastor James delivered the message. After church we headed to Lakeland to celebrate
my birthday with lunch at Harry’s. When we got home we headed to the recliners
to read and nap. Later we had a piece of birthday cake while watching TV. We
watched a couple of movies before calling it a night. Thank you God for a
blessed day.
Gay June-15-21

I was out the door at 6:30
am heading to Dade City for my accountability breakfast and Bible study. There
only six of us this morning. We finished up Acts chapter 18. From there I
headed to Tampa Bay country to finish miscellaneous jobs and getting the rest
of the garage packed up and ready to move. It was 3:30 pm when I got home,
sweaty and tired. After my shower I sat down and visited with Cheri as I didn’t
see her this morning. She made a trip to Wal-Mart for groceries and other
things we needed. This afternoon she made me a cherry nut cake which she makes
for me every year for my birthday. I got a call this evening from the lady
where I worked today letting me know that her house is sold. It all happened within
a week. Also got a call from Nikki wishing me a happy birthday. I got a call
from Darren with birthday wishes with some face time with Wyatt which was short
as he is a busy little boy. At 8:00 pm I went out for security duty with
Dennis. As you can see it was a busy day for me and was ready for bed when I got
home. I also got a call from Pat and Roger wishing me a happy birthday plus a
voice mail from Ron and Sandy. Thank you God for a bless day with friends and
family.
Gay June-14-21

Hey! Its Flag Day hope everyone
has their flag up today, it should be up every day. I had a 7:30 am doctor
appointment to see what the next step is for my shoulder and back. Plus I got
the shingles shot and will have the second one in August. After my appointment
I headed down to the VA in Tampa to have some x-rays done on my back and hip.
It was noon when I finally got home. After lunch with Cheri I headed over to
Pam and Mike’s to see about repairing their leaking kitchen faucet which I
install new about six months ago. The only thing I could find wrong was that
the cartridge was loose and think that was the problem. Now it is a wait and
see if that cured the problem. I sat and had a nice visit with Mike and Pam and
was ready to leave when it started raining really hard so stayed longer to wait
for the rain to stop. When I got home Cheri had casserole going in the crock
pit for supper. After supper we got ready to head out for our Sunday school
class meeting deciding what we want to do for the rest of the year. We got
several things settled and set up a date for another Linger Longer and our
Christmas Party. It was around 8:30 pm when we got home. We settled in to watch
an episode of Dateline. Thank you God for a blessed day.
Gay June-13-21

We left this morning at
9:00 am for church as it now starts a half hour earlier at 9:30 am. Pastor
Randy’s message was titled “Know what you know” from Colossians 2:16-23. Our
Sunday school lesson was titled “Hope Defined” from Job 14:1-14. Believers find
hope for life only in God. We had donuts and coffee before Sunday school
started so we passed on the Sunday pizza. It started raining when we left
Sunday school but didn’t get any at home. Pam and Mike picked us up at 2:45 pm.
we went for a surprise birthday party for Sandy Sharp. It was a fun time and
got to see a lot of friends that we haven’t see for over a year. It was near
6:00 pm when we got home. We had food at the birthday party so no supper this
evening. We finally got rain this evening, a couple of hard rains and then
light rain into the night. Cheri read while I watched the NASCAR race which
didn’t get over until 10:00 pm. Thank you God for time spent with you and all
of our fiends today.
Gay June-12-21

I forgot to mention that I
got the microwave fixed. All that was wrong was the power cord had come lose
from the electrical outlet. Cheri fixed us pancakes for breakfast. I didn’t
have to be any ware today so took extra time with breakfast, coffee, time with
Cheri, and Bible study. I did go out to find out what was wrong with our led
strip lights as they quit working a few days ago. I checked and found that the
light controller is bad. I did some checking on line to see about another controller
and found that I might as well buy a new set of lights. I went over to check on
Larry and Denise’s house and everything is ok. On the way home I stopped by
Dennis and Sue’s to pick up the left over materials that we didn’t use on the
lattice project. It was a really hot and humid day so I stayed inside this
afternoon. We spent most of the afternoon reading and later I watched the
NASCAR truck race. Cheri fixed us Philly cheese steak sandwiches for supper. We
watched another one of the 117 movies. We also watched some of a new racing
series but couldn’t stay awake, so called it a night. Thank you God for a
relaxing afternoon and keeping us healthy and safe.
Gay June-11-21

It was a good day for
getting some more work done. It was already 87 degree at 10:00 am. I worked on
Dennis’s lattice project and got it done by 12:30 pm. I was soak and wet from
the sweating. I felt much better after my shower. Cheri fixed us a grilled ham
and cheese sandwich along with some watermelon for lunch. Cheri was busy with
laundry and destroying the more of the old tax papers. Dennis and Sue picked us
up at 3:45 pm to go to Pincher Crab Shack in Wesley Chapel. It was our first
time and the fish Cheri had wasn’t very good. I had shrimp scampi which was
pretty good. I thought it was pretty pricey but I guess that is the case everywhere
now. When we got home we settled in to watch a Christian movie that was given
to us which was good. We also watched one of the 117 movies I bought a couple
weeks ago. It was an old movie call “A Time to kill” which was very good. Thank
you God for helping us through this day and time spent with friends.

I got off my lazy butt and
did some work today. I worked over in Tampa Bay country. A party is getting
ready to move to Wisconsin. They had a lot of honey do jobs to get the house
ready to sell. I worked until 3:00 pm and was hot working outside most of the
time. I got home around 3:30 pm. Cheri had been busy sorting through the old
tax records to be destroyed. She was also busy with laundry and Thursday house
work. She fixed us a hot hobo’s meal for supper. I was really tired and after
my shower I was already napping before supper. It was a normal evening of TV
watching movies which I napped through. Thank you God for helping us through
this day and making me feel useful again.
Gay June-9-21

For me it was another do
nothing as far as work goes today. Cheri on the other hand was busy with the
Wednesday housework, exercises, cleaning in her sewing room, and making cinnamon
rolls. At 11:30 am we left the house heading to Dade City for the noon church
service. Pastor Randy’s message was on Psalms 16 which is a prayer. I spent the
afternoon reading and napping. Cheri continued with her work. For supper we had
the rest of the jambalaya that Cheri made a couple days ago. Our microwave died
this afternoon when Cheri went use it, only five years old. We watched a couple
of Hallmark movies and some home improvement shows. Thank you God for a blessed
day and spending time with you.
Gay June-8-21

I was a little late
getting to my accountability group breakfast and Bible study as I had a fasting
lab appointment at 7:15 am. I did go early and got in before my appointment
time which was good and not too late for Bible study. I felt light headed today
so when I got home I headed to the recliner and stayed there most of the day
reading and napping. Cheri was busy with her exercises and Tuesday housework. Later
in the afternoon I felt some better and did do a little computer work. This
evening Dennis picked me up at 8:00 pm to do park security. I was back home
around 9:30 pm. Cheri and I watched a movie before calling it a night. Thank
you God for helping us through this day.
Gay June-7-21

I am still not doing the morning walk and really miss doing it. I have a doctor’s appointment in another week and hope to start getting some answers. I picked up Dennis at 10:00 am and went to pick up the additional things we needed for the lattice project. We got most of the frame work done. Dennis is going to be doing painting and Friday we will finish the project. It was 3:00 pm when I got home. Cheri was in the kitchen making jambalaya and a lemon meringue pie for supper. After my shower we eat early as I didn’t stop for lunch today. After supper I tried to watch a Hallmark movie with Cheri but couldn’t stay awake. When I woke up the movie was over she was watching another movie which I was able to stay awake for it. We have had some rain the last five days and none today, doesn’t look like we are going to get any this week. Thank you God for a blessed day keeping us healthy and safe.
Gay June-6-21

It was a normal Sunday
with church and Sunday school. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “Perfect in
Christ” from Colossians 2:11-15. Our Sunday school lesson was titled “Faith Tested”
from Job 1:8-22. Believers show the depth of their faith in adversity. We
ordered our pizza and picked it up on the way home. While eating our pizza we
watched the rest of 20/20 that we couldn’t stay awake for last night. We also watched
a Hallmark movie and then the NASCAR race. Later this afternoon we got more
rain and lasted off and on into the night. I don’t think we got much more than
a ½ inch. Thank you God for time spent with you and church friends.
Gay June-5-21

Cheri fixed us scrambled
eggs, sausage, toast, and juice for breakfast this morning. I left the house at
9:00 am to finish the drain repair. It was near noon when I got back home.
Cheri fixed us a ham sandwich for lunch along with some watermelon. Cheri was
busy putting away all the movies I bought yesterday. She has them in order with
a list of them so we can see what we have. This afternoon I worked on getting
the tools loaded in the truck that I will need to do the lattice work on Monday
for Dennis and Sue. After that I headed for the shower. I also ordered quilt
template for Cheri. The rest of the afternoon was spent in the recliner
reading, napping, and watching TV. Cheri used the leftover sauerkraut from the Reuben
sandwiches yesterday to make sauerkraut and dogs for supper. I forgot to
mention that we had gone for around six weeks without any rain, well we finally
got a little rain the last four days. Good to see things starting to green up
again. It was a normal evening of TV. Thank you God for taking care of us
today.
Gay June-4-21

I tried walking this
morning with Dennis and was only able to do part of the walk before having hip
and leg pain. Cheri and I got the laundry started and then went out for
breakfast at the Black Eyed Pea in Dade City. Neither of us was able to finish
our breakfast and said that next time we have to share one. Cheri finished the
laundry and worked in her sewing room today. I worked outside in my shop area.
I got a call from Lou wanting me to do some work on her shower drain. Lou had
117 movies for sale as she going to be moving, so I bought all of them. We will
have something to watch this summer when nothing is on TV. I also got a call
from Dennis and wanted to get the materials for some lattice work he wants to
do around an outside area. We went to the recycle yard and found most of the
material we needed. I would guess he saved around 200 dollars by getting them
there. This is a project I will be working on next week. At 3:30 pm I was done
for the day and ready for my shower. Cheri fixed us a Rubin sandwich and water melon
for supper. We watched a few shows before calling it a night.
Gay June-3-21

Cheri went to the dentist
this morning and got her new crown installed. She also did some grocery
shopping on the way home. I headed out to see about getting new glass installed
in the window frame. After a few stops I found out no one cuts glass anymore.
But did get a card of a person that will come to the house to do it. So I
stopped by the client and told him about the guy that could come and take care
of it. But has decided to have a new window installed. I made a stop at the
bank as the changeover to a new web site I wasn’t able to log into our account.
It took them a while but finally got it straighten out. When I got home for
lunch Cheri was making a batch of chocolate chip cookies. I signed us up for a
new lawn care service that does the same thing as the old service but for
$100.00 less. I had bought a used lawn mower and should have waited and prayed
about it. That’s what happens when you make snap decisions as they will come
back and bit you. This evening we went out to Bahama Breeze for dinner with
Dennis and Sue. I had said we had never been to this Bahama Breeze but after
getting in the place I remembered being there with Mike and Pam a couple years
ago. Still very good food. I couldn’t stay awake to watch the movie and told
Cheri I was going to bed and she also came to bed and watched the rest of the
movie in bed. Thank you God for getting a few projects done today and dinner
with Dennis and Sue.
Gay June-2-21

After breakfast Cheri
headed out for her haircut appointment. I got cleaned up and read in my novel
until 10:00 am when Dick and Linda picked us up for a day outing. We went to
Plant City. Our first stop was for Cheri and Linda at the quilt shop. Dick and I
checked out a couple of antique stores. When Cheri and Linda got done we
checked out a few more antique stores. Then we went to the Whistle Stop for
lunch. We have never been there before. They had a guy playing the piano while
we eat. The food was ok but nothing special and probably wouldn’t go back
again. After lunch we headed to the Mercantile Shop. We have been there a few
times and Cheri like to look at everything. On the way home we stopped at the
Mexican Market to buy watermelons, only $2.50 for seedless. It was around 3:30
pm when we got home. We had leftover corn beef and cabbage for supper. Then it
was an evening of TV watching Hallmark movie which I had trouble staying awake
to watch. After the movie we streamed the Wednesday noon church service. Pastor
Randy message was on Psalms 16. He is so good about breaking it down so we can
understand it. Thank you God for time spent with you and friends.
Gay June-1-21

I left the house at 6:30
am heading to Dade City for my accountability group breakfast and Bible study.
Today we finished Acts chapter 17. When I got home Cheri was having coffee and
ready to face the day. I headed out and got the barn quilt hung back up on the
house. It really looks good again. I did some additional shop cleaning before
calling it a day. Cheri was busy with the normal Tuesday housework. She also
put a corn beef in the crockpot to have for supper. Later this afternoon a guy
stopped over and said that a window in his house fell out and broke. Wanted me
to look at it and see about a repair. Well I thought at a window doesn’t just
fall out. I went to check it out and sure enough that is what happened. The
upper insulated glass pane fell out of the frame that was holding it. It only
had about four small spots of glue holding it in the frame. Only one side of
the glass broke so I cleaned up the broken glass and put the single pane back
in with some duct tape. So tomorrow I will see about getting a new insulated
pane which I am sure will have to be ordered. Cheri fixed us corn beef and cabbage
for supper. We watched some TV before Dennis picked me up to do security for
the evening. It was around 9:30 pm when I got home. Cheri and I read for a
while before calling it a night. Thank you God for a blessed day spending time
with my accountability group.
