Gay June-2-21

After breakfast Cheri
headed out for her haircut appointment. I got cleaned up and read in my novel
until 10:00 am when Dick and Linda picked us up for a day outing. We went to
Plant City. Our first stop was for Cheri and Linda at the quilt shop. Dick and I
checked out a couple of antique stores. When Cheri and Linda got done we
checked out a few more antique stores. Then we went to the Whistle Stop for
lunch. We have never been there before. They had a guy playing the piano while
we eat. The food was ok but nothing special and probably wouldn’t go back
again. After lunch we headed to the Mercantile Shop. We have been there a few
times and Cheri like to look at everything. On the way home we stopped at the
Mexican Market to buy watermelons, only $2.50 for seedless. It was around 3:30
pm when we got home. We had leftover corn beef and cabbage for supper. Then it
was an evening of TV watching Hallmark movie which I had trouble staying awake
to watch. After the movie we streamed the Wednesday noon church service. Pastor
Randy message was on Psalms 16. He is so good about breaking it down so we can
understand it. Thank you God for time spent with you and friends.
