We had a busy day. Cheri
with laundry this morning and then to the sewing room. I had my 6:30 am Accountability
Group Bible study and breakfast in Dade City. Good study in the book of Acts
Chapter 18. I filled the car with gas on the way home. Then went outside and
worked the shop area again and made a couple more changes, still have more to
do. Late morning I got a call from Ron and went over to his place to check out
some electrical work he wants me to do. It was noon when I got home. This afternoon
Cheri and I headed over to Dunedin so Cheri could shop at Rainbow Ends quilt
shop. It is the largest quilt shop around they had a big sale going on and she
wanted to go. On the way home we stopped in Wesley Chapel at the new Mellow
Mushroom pizza place. When we use to travel we would stop eat at them, now we
have one here that we can go to. It was 8:00 pm and 120 miles later when we got
home. Thank you God for the safe travels.

Cheri was busy this
morning doing the Thursday laundry, working in her sewing room, and a visit
with Jean our next door neighbor. I had a good morning as I got to stay home
and work outside in my shop area cleaning up, rearranging my lumber, cabinets, and
still have much more to do. This afternoon we went to see church friends Rick
and Gloria. They have been absent from church as Rick as went through a serious
surgery and is now home recuperating. He is not able to doing any kind of work
so they have a list of odd jobs they want me to do. So I got the list this
afternoon and will start on it next week. On the way home we stopped at the
licensing in the court house to renew the plates on the car, truck, Grandma’s
trailer, and get copies of our house title. It was supper time when we got home
so Cheri fixed the leftover ham along with a baked potato and ham gravy. We
made ice cream mint shakes to have while watching TV. Thank you God for the day
you blessed us with.

Cheri started a ham in the
crock pot this morning to have for supper this evening and then spent most of
the day in her sewing room. I finished up the bathroom project which only took
an hour. I was going to take finished pictures but forgot. I will go back to
see if I can take them. I took the shower doors to the salvage yard and fill
the truck with gas on the way home. I also made a stop at Harbor Freight to
pick up some small wheels for a gate project that I have to do. So later this
afternoon I got one of the wheel attached to the gate so it now opens much
easier without dragging. After that was done I reorganized and got the truck
ready for my next project that I will be checking out tomorrow. This evening we
were invited next door to play cards with Mike and Kathy. We had a good visit
and play Skip-Bo which we haven’t played for over year. Thank you God for guiding
us through another day.

Ok where did April go,
hard to believe it is May already. Cheri and I both had a good day. Cheri did
her Tuesday house work and then worked in her sewing room, she was able to
complete another dragon fly. For me it was back to my bathroom project here in
the park. I worked until 5:00 pm and now all that is left is to get a piece of
base board and tighten a handle on the other shower faucet which I tighten once
before. I am going to use some lock tight this time and think that should take
care of the problem. We had leftovers for supper and then an evening of TV
watching Dancing with the Stars that we didn’t get to watch last night. Thank
you God for blessing us with a beautiful day.

I started a new project
today. So it was demo day removing a medicine cabinet, vanity, shower doors. I
got the opening where the medicine cabinet was framed in and sheet rock on,
also managed to get a couple coats of plaster done. I got the new vanity set in
place and the water line and waste pipe up into the new vanity. Yes, I did my daily trip to Lowe's to get plumbing materials. I started at
9:00 am and didn’t quit until 5:00 pm. Cheri was busy fixing supper when I got
home but had time to take a shower. Cheri fixed us fried bread dough, meat
loaf, and corn for supper. We had some cake for dessert while watching TV.
Cheri spent all day in her sewing room working on the “Dance of the Dragonflies”.
She has one almost done and has four more to make. Thank you God for a
productive day.
