I am happy to report that
I got the bathroom shower project done. It did take a lot longer to finish than
I thought it would. I forgot to take a finished picture to post. If I get time
I will stop tomorrow for the picture. I checked out the couple with the air conditioner
problem. They need to have a new electrical circuit installed from the breaker
panel. I gave them a price on how much it would cost and wasn’t happy with the
price. My next stop was to repair a toilet which needed a new water control
valve. Being that it is a Kohler it cost more for the repair parts. I was able
to get them at Lowe’s. It was 4:00 pm before I was done for the day. Cheri was
busy with housework and a visit from Jean out next door neighbor. This
afternoon she make chicken and dumplings to have for supper. I am always happy
when she makes them. We watched a couple more Hallmark movies this evening and
are now all caught up on the shows we have recorded. Thank you God for a
blessed day.

I actually slept in until
5:30 am this morning as I didn’t have any work today. Cheri and I left at 11:15
am and headed to Tampa because I had a follow up appointment on the results of
my C-scan on Saturday. Good news the spot on my lung hasn’t changed. The not so
good news is there is a new spot in my left lung. I will have to go in for a
biopsy. Just have to wait for the appointment. We missed lunch today and
stopped on the way home at Olive Garden. We both had salad and shrimp scampi along
with hot bread sticks. We were disappointed with the shrimp scampi as it didn’t
have any flavor. It was 4:00 pm when we got home. I did get a call from a
person here in our park that is having an electrical problem tripping a breaker
on a portable air conditioner. Well when I went to check it out nobody was
home. So I will have to check it out tomorrow. We both napped some while
watching TV and had to rewind one show as we missed a lot while napping. Thank
you God for safe travels and for the VA taking care of me.

Grandma didn’t go to
church with us today because there weren’t going to be any notes for her. So
she went to church with friends in her park. Pastor James delivered the message
today as Pastor Randy and a group from our church are in Israel this week.
After Sunday school we stayed and did some measuring for new cabinets in the
Sunday school kitchen which I will be installing. When we got home we changed
clothes and took the extra box of flooring from the Sunday school kitchen back
to Lumber liquidators. Then a trip back to Dade City to see a client that is in
rehab at Royal Oaks. It was after 4:00 pm when we arrived home. Cheri settled
in to watch a couple of Hallmark movies and I went to the bedroom to watch the
NASCR race. After the race was over I joined Cheri to watch another Hallmark
movie. Thank you God for time spent with you today along with church and Sunday
school friends.

Cheri and I didn’t go to
the Hole in One donut shop for breakfast this morning as I had a fasting
appointment this morning. I left the house at 7:45 am heading to Tampa VA for a
9:30 am C-scan on my lung as it has been six months since my last scan. I
arrived early and got in just before 9:00 am. When I got home Cheri was busy
doing the dusting and then to work in her sewing room. I headed out to work at
a place here in the park to repair a toilet. It had been leaking and refilling.
I was surprised as it was a new toilet. Whoever installed it didn’t remove the
rubber band that holds the flapper down during shipment. So after a time it
broke and got caught under the flapper causing the leak. It was an easy fix and
he asked me to check the other toilet as it was new. And sure enough there was
the rubber band but hadn’t got caught under the flapper. Then I stopped by the
bathroom project and explained to her about the water reversal that I needed to
fix. Then it was back home to clean out the truck and get things ready for the
afternoon working on the camping bed frame. I would have had that project done
but Lee wanted to help build the second one. She arrived at 1:00 pm to help and
we finished around 4:00 pm. by the time I got all of my tools and saws put away
it was 4:30 pm. It was 92 degrees and today and made it very hot working
outside. After a good hot shower and supper we settled in for a normal evening
of TV, Cheri watching and me napping. Thank you God for a blessed day.

Hard to believe this that
last day of May. The time goes by so fast I can hardly keep up. Cheri
was also busy with laundry and Friday house work. My day started with breakfast
and Bible study with my accountability group. After that I had an 8:00 am appointment
at Sunday school to see what the next step is going to be in the Sunday school
kitchen. Then it was back to work on the bathroom project and was able to
finish except for a few things. One problem I had was with the water. I was
told that the water faucet was wrong and that the hot and cold needed to be reversed
so I did that when I hooked up the new faucet. So after all was said and done I
check the water and it and now the hot and cold are wrong. Now I will have to
crawl under the house to make the change. The only thing I can think may have
been is the cartridge in the old faucet was installed wrong. It was my fault
for not checking it out myself. It was 2:00 pm when I found this out and was
depressed and was going to have to quit by 3:00 pm to get ready to go out for
dinner with Mike & Pam along with Ron and Sandy to celebrate Mike and Pam’s
50th wedding anniversary. We had a good time and got home around
8:30 pm. We were both really tired and decided to go to bed and watch TV there.
