I thought I was going to
get the bathroom project done today but do to some problems it didn’t get done.
I had a very good morning working in the bathroom. But this afternoon wasn’t so
good. I had made a trip to Lowe’s to return some materials I didn’t need and to
pick up some additional caulking. I bought some different caulking and found it
was very hard to work with. I hope to get done tomorrow. Cheri was busy with laundry
and spent most of the day in her sewing room. This evening I got a call from a
lady in Tampa Bay country and wants me to remove carpet and lay ceramic tile in
her guest bed room and also install some crown molding. I told her it would be
July before I could do it but said that she would wait for me to do it. Cheri
fixed us breakfast for supper as we had eggs, bacon, hash browns, English muffin,
and juice. I was very happy because breakfast is my favorite meal. We watch a
new NCIS show that is about real NCIS cases. Also watched a new Property
Brother Home Forever. The Property Brothers was about the same just a different
name. Thank you God for a blessed day.

I left for work at 8:15 am
and still working on the shower project. I did have a good day but was challenged
as I had an end wall that wasn’t straight and had quite the problem getting it
straight and lined up with the shower base. But after a couple of hours I had
it ready to install the shower panels. I thought I would get all the panels
installed but because of the wall problem I didn’t get them all in. It was 5:00
pm when I quit for the day. Then I went to check out another job here in our
park. A guy called me today and said that he put in a new vanity and can’t get
the plumbing connected and also has a bathroom fan he wants installed. He had
tried to do the plumbing and installing the fan but really made a mess of it
and now wants me to do the install. So it was 5:45 pm when I got home and done
for the day. Cheri was busy with her usual Wednesday house work and then went
and got groceries for Grandma. She didn’t have much time to spend in her sewing
room. She also made a new recipe of beef enchiladas which was very good and
told Cheri she could fix them again. We started watching a new series called
Blood & Treasure. We watched the first episode last week and had trouble
getting into it but decided to give it another try with the second episode but
gave up half way there it. We did watch a couple other shows before calling it
a night. Thank you God for blessing us and guiding us through another day.

I started work a little
after 8:00 am so I could get new shower drain installed before it got too hot
outside. I did have a good day and got all the plumbing done although I did
have a water leak when I did the water test. Just one fitting that needed to be
tightened. I also got two pieces of the backer board installed. It was 4:30
when I got home to pick up a shower grab bar and install it for another client
here in the park. When all was said and done I was home around 5:30 pm. Time
for good long hot shower while Cheri was fixing baked pork chops along with the
leftover potato salad for supper. After Cheri got her Tuesday house work done
she went over to visit with Jean. She spent the rest of the day in her sewing
room. We settled in for an evening of TV more for Cheri as I napped until it
was time to go to bed. Thank you God for a blessed day.

When I was making plans
for work I forgot that today was a holiday and ended up working on a new
project. But I did take time to thank all the men and women that fought and
gave their lives so we could have our freedom. My project today was to remove
an old shower module and install a new one. Of course I ran into challenges I didn’t
plan on. I tried to run the plumbing without going under the house but that isn’t
going to work. It was in the 90’s today and too hot to be crawling under a
house with coveralls on. So I plan on doing that in the morning when it is
cooler. I also had to relocate some electric wires. I made a trip to Lowe’s to
get the underlayment along with plumbing supplies. It was 5:30 pm when I got
home really tired and ready for a hot shower. Cheri spent most of her day in
the sewing room making progress on the wall hanging she is making. She made potato
salad to have with a fresh made hamburger. We settled in for an evening of TV
or I should say it was more for me than Cheri because I was watching the rest
of the NASCAR race. Thank you God for guiding us through another day and again
thank you for all the men and women that fought for our freedom.

Grandma went to church
with us this morning. We had our pictures taken at church as they are going to
have directory that members can check out and will be on line and password
protected. It will be nice to put a name with some of the people that we met.
As I for one have a very hard time remembering names. Pastor Randy spoke on the
last days of Jesus and we had communion today. Sunday school was good and our
lesson today came from Mark 15:42-47, 16:1-8. After we dropped Grandma off we
made a stop at Lowe’s so I could get a shower grab bar for a client in our
park. We also made a stop at Harbor Freight so I could get some saw blades
which I will need for tomorrows work. The rest of the afternoon was spent
watching movies and napping. I did watch some of the NASCAR race this evening
but went to bed before it was over. I recorded it so I can watch the rest of it
tomorrow. Thank you God for a blessed day with Christian friends.
