Gay April-29-08

It was cold this morning, only 36 degrees. We got on the road by 8:30 am. The campground we were going to stay in would not take overnight campers; it didn’t look that nice anyway. So the next campground wasn’t open for the season. We found a Public Corps campground just above the Bull Shoals Lake Dam. We got in for half price by using our Golden Age Passport. It was 2:00 pm by the time we got set up. Then we went to visit Dave and Maryann Hassenbach. They live only 4 miles from where we are camped. After visiting for a while we all went out for pizza near their house and it was excellent. After supper Maryann had to go and teach a scrapbooking class, Cheri went along and made some Mother Day and Father Day cards. Dave and I went for a ride (cruse) in his 1940 Chevy, it was a blast.
