Gay Nov-1-10

It was a perfect day with a high of 80 degrees and no humidity. It would be great to have this kind of weather all winter. Today we had to pay our rent and Grandma’s rent for the year. It always takes a big chunk out of our savings. After we got done paying our rent we see Bud outside as he had lawn people laying new sod in his front lawn. Most of it is under a large tree and about every five years he has to replace it. It looks real nice and now comes the watering all winter. We talked with Bud and Joyce until it was time for Joyce to head over to the pool for water aerobics; she is in charge of doing the aerobics. The rest of the forenoon and part of the afternoon was sent on getting our health insurance figured out for next year. A lot of new changes from this year and had to do some internet searching on the different things that are available. The more I checked the more confused I got. We did what we think is the best for us and pray to God that it is right. Later this afternoon Cheri wanted to go to some goodwill stores to look for colored dinner plates to use on a craft project. So we went as far as Dade City and back and didn’t find what she wanted. First we were going to take the motorcycle and ride down to Lakeland to Michael’s and Joanne Fabrics, but after checking on the internet they didn’t have what she wanted, so no motorcycle ride today. I also spent more time on the internet searching for power tuners to give our truck more horse power. The latest one I have been checking out is made by Banks Power. I really like the Edge product but I can’t adjust the power rating while driving and I think that is an important feature while pulling the 5th wheel in hills and mountains. The Banks Power gives me that option. I will spend some more time checking them out before I make a decision. We did our evening walk and stopped to visit with Ed and Lorraine as they were sitting outside. We left when the mosquitoes came out. It was already getting dark so we cut our walk short.
