Today was a play day for me and Cheri. Bud, Larry and I left at 8:00 am for a motorcycle ride to Daytona Harley Davidson. It has the largest selection on new and used motorcycles in the world, it is a huge complex. Larry got the part numbers he wanted in order to get the painted parts for his new 2011 Ultra Limited Harley. Bud bought a new baseball cap. I didn’t buy anything there. Then we walk across the street to the Harley outlet store, we didn’t find anything that we couldn’t live without. Then we walked over to J&P Cycles. It is the World’s largest aftermarket motorcycle parts and accessories store. I have been looking for a rain suit and found what I was looking for without breaking the bank. So I was happy about getting that. After a quick late lunch at Burger King and filling the bikes with gas we were back on the road at 2:15 pm heading for home. We took a short break on the way back and ended up at home at 5:15 pm. It was a ride of 257 miles and a great day for it. Cheri and Denise went shopping and hit the quilt stores in the surrounding area as Denise is just starting to get into the quilting. So Cheri loved showing her the stores and shops. Denise did buy some patterns and kits to get started. This evening was our Life Group meeting and as always it was a great time. It was our last study session and we will have a potluck evening meal in a couple of weeks. This is a picture of the visitor we had by our window yesterday morning.
