Gay Nov-2-11

Today was health insurance day. We got a letter in the mail from where I worked and they are no longer supplying health insurance for us, it was a big shock when we read the letter. But after reading it wasn’t as bad as I first thought. They put money in a HRA account that will help pay the premiums and they also hired insurance consultants to help us pick the right insurance for us. So we spent all morning going through the information and looking at different insurance policies. Grandma stopped over and wanted Cheri to go with her for her B-12 shot. Cheri had it on our calendar that was for tomorrow, so Cheri called the doctor to find out which day was right, it is tomorrow. Grandma also had a prescription that needed to be taken to Wal-Mart so Cheri took her over for that and she wanted to pick up a few groceries. This afternoon I went and made an appointment at the VA for my back and shoulder. Then back to Wal-Mart to pick up Grandma’s medicine. This evening we had a phone meeting with the insurance consultant and he spent two hours answering our questions and telling us about insurance policies that would work well for us. He e-mailed information that we need to look over and we have another phone meeting set up for next Monday. It was some stressful but with God’s help we got through the day.
