It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a little cool this morning but warmed up to be a perfect winter day. Cheri was busy doing laundry and I went over to Grandma’s this morning as Tom from Bright House came to hook up the high speed internet and telephone service. While he was doing that I started hooking up a new computer for Grandma. I moved the old computer on to the table and set up the new one on the computer desk. I worked on it until noon and still have some things to set up on the new computer. I told Grandma that she could use the old one and I would be back tomorrow to finish the project. Cheri and I had a quick lunch and got ready to go for a motorcycle ride with Larry and Denise. We rode down to New Tampa and stopped at Jo-Ann Fabrics. Denise needed some thread and as it turned out they didn’t have the thread that she needed, but they both (Denise and Cheri) found something they thought they needed. While they were in Jo-Ann’s Larry and I went to Staple’s. I was looking for some dry-erase pens. I was telling Larry on our last ride that I wished Harley made a map pouch for my bike. I write all the turns on a piece of paper and tape it to the gas tank. He pulled out a dry-erase pen and said use this and write on the windshield. Boy does that work really nice, I wrote each turn across the top of the windshield and there it was nice and easy to read without taking my eyes off the road. I ended up buying five of the pens. I am going to give one to each of the guys in our riding group. We made another stop at Sam’s and we bought a membership. We had a membership many years ago and didn’t think we needed one because we are full time RVer’s and don’t have the room for bulk items, but now that they have many more things that we can use. It was a short ride of about 45 miles but it was still fun when you can share it with friends. This evening we were invited up to Pam and Mike’s for supper and games. Pam’s best friend Peggy from Illinois is spending a week with them. So we played dominos (Mexican Train) and showed Peggy how to play. It was a fun evening to spend with close friends. Thanks Pam for fixing us supper.
