It was an interesting day. Last night I was telling Todd about our truck having a shimmy in the front at around 62 to 65 miles per hour. It has been there since it was new and I had it back to the dealer for repair. They did help it some but it still wasn’t right. I had thought it might be the tires so when I got new tires last year; we still had the same problem. I even took the truck to two different places to have the tires balanced, still no help. I did some searching on the internet and it appears to be a problem with all the GM 4500 and 5500 series. Long story short Todd talked me into taking it to a frame and alignment shop in Sauk City. Todd called the shop and made arraignments for us. So Cheri and I left for Sauk City around10:00 am. When we arrived they told us that they couldn’t check it out until late afternoon. So we made a stop at the Harley shop and then to Subway for lunch. We got a call early afternoon and said they were ready for us and would have to leave it. So we called Todd and he said he would be up late to get us as he was really busy. Awhile later Todd called me and said that he had a truck coming trough Sauk City and would have him stop and pick me up and ride back to Barneveld with him. When we got back I got Todd’s truck and drove back to Sauk City to pick up Cheri. When I got there to pick her up they said they found something in the alignment that could cause the problem we are having. So now it is just waiting to see if our problem will be fixed. It was near 5:00 pm before we got back to Barneveld. A little later Todd stopped by the 5th wheel and wanted me to take him home so we would have his truck to use. We told him we were fine for the night, but he still wanted me to take him home as he wants to bring his Corvette to work so he can put it in storage for the winter. It was cold and rainy all day so Cheri fixed soup for supper, sure hit the spot.
