Gay Nov-4-12

Time change again, I gave an hour back last week and thought I was done with time change, forgot about moving the clocks back to standard time. I think we finally have all the clocks on the right time; nope I still have to change the time on the clock in the truck. We didn’t make it to church this morning, just couldn’t find a church close by that sparked our interest. We did do our daily deviations and read the Bible. We headed over to Darren’s at 10:30 am and when we got there Darren want to go to the Mall of Georgia to get some new shoes. So off we go, we got there at 11:30 am and the mall was still closed. It doesn’t open until noon on Sundays were in the Bible belt. I was worried that we wouldn’t get back to Darren’s in time for the Packer game. Not to worry, Darren got his cell phone out and with a few clicks he was able to set up the DVR to record the game. All of these new electronics is too much for me. I can remember trying to show Dad about the old VHS recorder and he just looked at me and said too many new electronics. I couldn’t understand what he was talking about back then because I thought it was simple, well now I understand what he met and now I am just like he was back then. We also made a stop at Wal-Mart as Darren wanted to pick up some groceries and Cheri had a few things she needed. When we got back to Darren’s I grilled some New York strip steaks that we picked up the other day. They were some of the best steak we have had in a long time, great flavor and tender. OK with all that done it was time to settle in and watch the Packers play, another win. At 8:30 pm we said our goodbyes to Darren and headed home. Tomorrow we move farther south.
