It started raining around 5:00 am and made for a nasty morning although it didn’t last that long but was cloudy and damp, no sun until later this afternoon. I had a fasting lab this morning so Cheri and I went out for breakfast at the Breakfast Station after my lab. I was tired and had to push myself to get anything done today. I knew it was going to be one of those days that I wouldn’t see much headway. I cleaned up the edges of the back splash and getting it ready for Cheri to do the touch up paint. I also painted three pieces of material that we plan on using for the back splash cap. Cheri picked the one she thinks will be the best. I want to use black electrical receptacles and the existing ground fault receptacle is ivory. They are too expensive to replace so I spray painted it black and it came out looking good. I went to find Cheri to tell her I was ready for her to do the touch up painting and found her in the sewing room making another purse. She had told me that she was done making purses, said that she had to make one out of a pair of old denim pants. I did the lay out for the new vessel sink and have the counter top marked for the holes I need to drill for it and the faucet. I will wait until tomorrow to do that as I want to recheck it in the morning as I get only one shot at getting it right.
