Grandma didn’t go to
church with us today as we had a quest speaker and there wouldn’t be any
message notes for her so she went to church with friends from her park. Our
guess speaker was Dr Steven Masood who is a Christian from a sectarian Muslim
background. He became a follower of Jesus in April 1973 in Karachi, Pakistan.
He presented his testimony. For more information you can go to this link. http://www.jesustomuslims.org/content/about-dr-steven-masood
Sunday school lesson was about forgiveness and Charlie did and excellent job of
presenting how we need to forgive and put it behind us. After Sunday school was
our Linger Longer which is a time for our Sunday school class to have a potluck
lunch and spend some time together. On the way home we stopped by Mel and Jan’s.
They were sitting outside so we pulled up a chair and visited with them for a
while. It was around 3:30 pm when we finally got home. Cheri was busy with her
I-Pad and I watched the NASCAR race that I had recorded.
