It was a month ago today that I had the surgery to have the stone removed from my bladder and still have the catheter until September 8th. Cheri is still having trouble with her eye and can only see double images with a lot of glare. At times the pupil is larger than her good eye. It has now been almost three months since her detached retina surgery. Today was a Cheri day. I took her to Dunedin which has one of the largest fabric shops in Florida. I found a place to park in the shade and with all the windows open it a nice breeze so I stayed in the car and read while Cheri shopped. Just before Cheri came out I had to start the car to cool things off as it was getting too hot without the air conditioning. Cheri said she found everything she was looking for and is very happy now that she can get back to her quilt project. On the way home we stopped by Sam’s Club to get some energy bars and also checked to see if they had any ribs as the last couple of time they didn’t have any. I was in luck today and also bought a slab for Mel and Jan. So we drove by their place to drop them off and Jan said that she didn’t know what they were going to have for supper and was glad to see the ribs. We also had ribs and beans for supper. We were both tired from our day out and about, had trouble staying awake to watch TV. We did get our evening shower that lasted all of five minutes.
