Gay May-14-16

I knew it was going to be
hot today so I was looking for something to do inside that wouldn’t be too much
work as I wasn’t in the mood for any big project with a lot of thinking. Cheri
was busy baking cupcakes for the Sunday school class tomorrow. She also made a
fruit salad to go along with the cupcakes. Cheri also picked out more things to
display on the top of the cabinets. I worked on assembling the additional
cabinet I got to go above the new refrigerator when we get it. One of the light
bulbs burned out in the fan light over our kitchen table. I can’t find a
replacement like the others and can’t find any LEDs that have the come in the
daylight. So I was thinking I could change the light socket to a larger size
and install regular bulbs. So Cheri and took a ride to the Re-Store to see
about getting a used light kit that would work on our ceiling fan. We didn’t
have any luck there so we headed on to Home Depot and found some replacement sockets
now the thing is will they fit. I didn’t want to buy any light bulbs until I
could see if the new sockets would fit. When we got home I took the light down
and with some modification I was able to get them to work. So after I got it
back together I headed over to Lowe’s to get the new light bulbs. The project
is done and now have the same type of lighting throughout the kitchen.
