Gay May-4-16

We were up early this
morning getting ready to get on the road for home. We sat for a while watching
all the birds come in for something to eat. I have never seen so many birds of
different species come to the feeder. When I got up I found Mike out in his
shop building a bird feeder for mealworms as blue birds really like them. It
was tough saying goodbyes as it will be a long time before we get together
again. We left at 8:30 am and headed for home. For the most part the trip was
uneventful. The low tire warning light did come on after about an hour down the
road. So I stopped at a service station and filled with the car with gas and
checked the tires but all seems to be ok. We also ran into a hard rain around
Gainesville Florida and then had rain on and off the rest of the way home. When
we got to Ocala Cheri got an alert on her phone that there was an accident on
I-75 south of Ocala so we got off and took 301 home. We made good time and
arrived home at 4:10 pm (443 miles). We got more rain this evening and
sometimes it rained pretty hard. I just check the rain gauge and we received 1
¾ inches.
