I did get my walk in this morning but then was a little so getting around as I was home for the day. Cheri was up early and had the Thursday laundry going. Cheri was just finishing breakfast and I was ready to go out when the doorbell rang. Our neighbor Jean came with a big flash light and could figure out how to put the battery in. She lives by herself and likes to visit when she comes. Late yesterday the trailer hitch I order came so my job for today was to get it installed. After removing the parts that was in the directions plus some additional that wasn’t in the directions. The hitch fit perfectly but then the real problem started when trying to get the parts that were removed reinstalled. The main problem was four of the connections were tight to the hitch and no way to put the fastener back in. So with a little reengineering I finally found something that will work but need to go and get the parts. Working outside in the heat just about got the best of me. It was 3:00 pm when I got done and ready for the hot shower and recliner. Cheri spent the rest of her day in the sewing room. I didn’t take time for lunch so Cheri fixed us an early dinner. Our evening was TV and some napping for me.
