I got my morning walk in and felt good to get back to walking again. First thing this morning Cheri put a beef roast in the crockpot along with potatoes, carrots, and onions to have for dinner this evening. Cheri took Grandma for her doctor’s appointment this morning and she got a good report. Then Cheri went to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things. I was the appliance repair man today. Cheri told me that the dishwasher quit working. She thinks that it was from a thunder storm that came through. Lights were flashing on it and wouldn’t run. I reset the power which didn’t fix the problem. It appears to be the control board that has the problem. The dish washer is nine years old and probably should replace it. I did some checking on line and they no longer made the control board for it. But I did find a place that will repair my control board for $144.00 and give me a year’s warranty on it which is much cheaper than buying a new dishwasher. So I got the old control board packed up and ready to drop in the mail tomorrow. I was going to mail it out today but was waiting for a phone call that was supposed to come at 2:00 pm and didn’t get the call until after 9:00 pm. The pot roast was really good and was nice to get back to some good home cooking.
