Gay Sept-8-17

I again had night sweats
and not feeling very good this morning. We headed over to Grandma’s first thing
this morning and got the awnings down. On the way we passed three gas stations
and no gas. After we got done at Grandma’s we went Publix’s for groceries and
found gas at the new 711 station. I filled the car and got six gallon for the
generator. When we got to Publix’s the parking lot was pretty full but got a
spot right in front of the store. We were able to get all the groceries we
needed. The only thing was no water. But friends Dick and Linda met us in the
parking lot with two cases of water. Mike and Pam also met us there with a crockpot
of potato soup and apple pie to have for dinner today. God really blessed us
and looked out for us today. When we got home I helped Cheri get the car
unloaded and I was too weak to do anymore today.
UPDATE:
It is 6:30 am Saturday Sept 9 and
things are looking really bad. As of now we are going to see about spending the
storm in the evacuation center here in Zephyrhills. From what I have seen this
morning it is going to be really bad. 100 mile wind gust along with tornados in
our area. Plus an evacuation order for all mobile homes. As of now this will be
my last blog until after the storm. Please pray for us.
