I didn’t plan on any work away from home today as I needed to take Grandma for her lab appointment at 11:15 am. Which was good because I could work on the fence this morning. Well when I went out it was 46 degrees and a stiff breeze and decided that it was too cold (yes I know I am a wimp). All of our northern friends probably think we have lived too long in Florida. But I am here to tell you it is much better than the cold winters in the north. When I got back from Grandma’s appointment it was warm enough to work on the fence. Although I didn’t have much time to work on it as I had to leave 2:00 pm with Jan to the airport to pick up her daughter Sherry who is coming in from Pittsburg at 3:00 pm to spend a few days. We had taken Jan car because Cheri and Nikki needed our car to do some shopping. Nikki and Cheri made some Christmas candy today and will do more tomorrow. They used to get together and make a lot of Christmas candy every year but after we retired we weren’t around to do it anymore. When they came home from shopping they brought Grandma with them. It was after 4:00 pm when I got home but still went out and worked on the fence for a while. This evening Cheri and Nikki watched Dancing with the Stars. I napped through the first hour but was awake for the free style dancing. Cheri was happy that Drew was the one that got voted off.
