I left early this morning to head over to Tampa Bay country as we had rain coming and I wanted to get the rain gutter and down spout put up before the rain came. Well as it turned out it started to rain just as I finished putting up the rain gutter. The rain didn’t last all that long but was soaked by the time I got the down spout installed. I guess I would have been wet either from the rain or from being sweaty. I was done and home by noon to have lunch with Cheri and then a shower. After lunch I was going to go to Lowe’s for materials for another project but the afternoon rain put a stop to that because some of the lumber would have been sticking out of the truck box. I have another person that is interested in a standby generator and she wants one with electric start so I spent afternoon checking out generators. I also took the truck through the car wash which seems kind of stupid when it is raining out but want to get a coat of wax on it to better shed the rain water. On the way home I stopped to see the lady that wants the new counter tops. I had done some searching and found out that she could have hers recoated. Another couple in the park is having it done and she is going to check theirs out when it is done. Cheri went shopping here in town as she had a few thing she wanted to check out. We had leftover baby back ribs and salad for supper and some ice cream later while watching TV. Thank you God for a blessed day.
