I hope everyone had good holiday. Cheri and I stayed home. I worked outside on building the attic door I will be installing Saturday. It was very hot so I took a break from the door to go over to the neighbors and finish the popcorn ceiling project and work on the transition strip. I was able to run it through the saw and cut off the broken part and still had enough to reinstall it. Then it was back to work on the attic door. Around 3:00 pm it started to rain so that was the end of my work day which was OK as I was ready to quit. I was tired, hot, sweaty, and ready for a shower. Cheri spent most of the day looking through patterns and material planning her next sewing project. For supper Cheri fixed the last of the roast beef on toast with gravy. The evening was spent reading, watching TV, and snacking. I didn’t check the rain gauge but would guess we got about a ¼ inch. Thank you God for helping us through another day with your blessings.
