Gay Aug-11-20

I left the house at 6:40
am heading to Dade City for my accountability group breakfast and Bible study.
There were only five of us this morning. Others had appointments and wasn’t
able to make it. We finished the book of John and next week we will be starting
the book of Ephesians. I was back home a little before 9:00 am. I set and
talked with Cheri before heading over to Donna Perkins to work on the bathroom.
I finished installing the new light fixture, reattached a piece of trim, did
touch up painting, put down the moister barrier on the floor, and cut the first
piece of flooring. I called Donna and talked to her about the cabinet in the
laundry room. She wants an additional cabinet installed but I can’t find one
that matches the ones that are there. I am not sure what she wants to do and
wants to think about it. Cheri did her normal Tuesday house work and then
worked in her sewing room. She finished the table runner she has been work on
for some time, looks really nice. She used Fire Weed material that she bought
in Alaska back in 2008. When the Fire Weed is in bloom it is really beautiful.
I know she is happy to have it done. This afternoon I went over to Bill and
Sharon’s (friends from church) to help change out a counter cooktop. Things
went well except had to install a junction box for the wiring. It was around
4:30 pm when I got home. We had leftover lasagna for supper. We watched a
couple episodes of 20/20 and some episodes Homestead Rescue which we enjoyed. We
are still fighting the hot and humid weather with a high temp of 96 degrees. Thank
you God for helping us through this day and keeping us safe and healthy.
