It is Veterans Day and I
pray that you reached out and thanked a Veteran today. In fact we should thank
one every day because without them we wouldn’t be free to do the things we do. Cheri
continues to be up when I get back from my morning walk. She is always very hungry
when she wakes up, ready for a bowl of cereal with a banana. Cheri’s knee is
still weeping blood but was able to take a shower for the first time since she
had surgery, which made her feel better. I re bandaged her knee, praying that
the blood will clot and no more bleeding. I left the house at 10:00 am for an
appointment in Tampa that the VA to have an MRI on my shoulder as I have been
having a lot of pain. It was near 1:00 pm when I got home. After a late lunch I
crashed in the recliner to relax for a while, which included a nap. I planned
on doing some work this afternoon but just didn’t have the energy to do anything,
maybe it was because of all the rain. Skip and Joy sent over a casserole which
we had for supper which was very good. It was a normal evening of TV watching whatever
we could find that was worth watching. I will be glad to have the new fall
season shows back. The storm hit us around midnight with strong winds and rain
but by 1:00 am the wind was gone and just rain. I will check in the morning to
see if we had any damage. Thank you God for guiding us through this day.
